Once upon a time there was a princess named Laurel. She was loved by everyone, except her brother. She had long blonde hair with blue eyes and wore long dresses and had high heels on. Her favorite thing to wear was her diamond locket. It was gold with a diamond in the front and a long golden chain.

Her brother, Jhaan, was the prince and destined to be king. He was mostly feared by everyone excluding his parents. He had short black hair and blue eyes. He always wore a white button up shirt and black dress pants with a jacket. His most prized possession was his golden ring. His ring had a golden band and a diamond with his family crest on it.

Use to the siblings were the greatest of friends, but as the years past Laurel's brother became jealous of the love everyone had for her and tried to take the kingdom from her. He was defeated and forced to rule the Land of darkness. He swore vengeance on his sister and promised the people of Serassa that he would return and they would fill his wraith.

While Jhaan was imprisoned he was watched by the dragon of wonders, he was the strongest dragon in the kingdom of Serassa. He also was the most trusted and because of this Laurel put all her trust in him.

As the years past Laurel grew old and soon married and had a daughter. While she grew old Jhaan was cursed with eternal youth. While she ruled over all things good, Jhaan rules over the goblins.

A little girl with long brown hair and eyes set on her bed in a nightdress looking up at her mother, who had long brown hair and eyes.

"Did he ever return?" The girl asked as she hid under her covers.

"No, the land of Serassa was kept safe from him by the princess's magic necklace. As long as she lived he wouldn't be able to break free from the land of darkness." Her mother said with a laugh.

"What happens if the princess was to die?"

"Darkness would overfall her kingdom and Jhaan would rule." Her mother said softly.

"Who would stop him?"

"Only the strongest believer could stop him. It says she would come to save Serassa from his magic and bring peace back to Serassa." Her mother said as she stood up and put the book away.

"I'm going to become the strongest believer and save Serassa from him." The girl said happily.

Her mother laughed as she turned and walked back over to her with a stuffed dragon.

"Of course you will my little hero." Her mother said with a smile as she handed the dragon to her.

"I'll do it and Argus will help me!" She exclaimed as she hugged the stiff dragon.

Her mother smiled as she kissed her forehead and tucked her in.

"I love you momma." She said as she rolled on her side and fell asleep.

"And I love you, my strongest believer." Her mother whispered as walked over to the light switch.

She turned it off and left the room with a smile on her face as she walked to her room and changed into her pajamas.

"Is Marie asleep?" Her father asked with a smile.

"Yes she went straight to sleep after I read the story of Serassa." Her mother said with a chuckle.

"She loves that story." He said with a chuckle.

"I know. I love telling it to her. Makes me actually believe that it is real." She said with a laugh.

He laughed as he got into bed and rolled onto his side and closed his eyes.

"Well lets get some sleep you have a busy day tomorrow." Her husband said with a laugh.

She laughed as she got into bed and went to sleep. The next morning she woke up and rolled on her side to see the clock.

"Crap I'm late!" She exclaimed as she jumped up.

She started to get ready and then ran to her car and started it. She pulled out of the driveway and made her way to work.

"Ring ring!" Her phone screeched.

She turned to pick it up and answered it as she looked back at the road. She looked at the road and gasped as she saw a deer jump in front of her. She quickly turned and went off the road and hit a tree. Her phone fell to the ground and a voice called her name over and over.

"Rachel! Rachel!" Her husband yelled over and over.

After a hour she was found and flown to the hospital. They took her back to surgery and her husband and daughter waited in the waiting room with her boss.

"I'm sure your mom is going to be fine." Eric said softly.

Marie hid her face in her father's face as Eric looked at her sadly.

"If you need anything Joe... just tell me." Eric said softly.

"My wife is strong. She will be fine." Her father said softly.

After awhile a doctor came out and looked around sadly.

"Rachel Stevenson's family." He said calmly.

Her father stood up and walked up to the doctor, he had Eric stay with Marie as he went to talk to her. Marie watched her father talk to the doctor and saw tears stream down his face as he shook his head no and then closed his eyes and whipped them before walking towards Marie. He crouched to her height and gently took her hands.

"Daddy is mommy okay?" Marie asked softly.

"Sweetheart.... your mom was hurt really badly.... and she.... She went to get some rest." He said softly.

"When will she wake up?" She asked softly.

"It's gonna be awhile kiddo..... we won't be able to see mommy for awhile." He said sadly.

"But I want mommy! Tell her to wake up!" She whined.

"I'm sorry baby.... I can't." He said as she started to cry.

Eric looked away and shook his head as he patted her father's shoulder and then left. They soon went home and Marie was put to bed. After a week had passed her father got ready to try and put her to bed once more. He handed her Argus and she threw him across the room.

"I don't want him! He doesn't help anyone!" She yelled as she turned on her side and went to bed.

Her father let out a sigh as he walked out of the room and left Marie to get some sleep. That night while Marie slept a light shown through her window and when she open her eyes she was laying on grass near a water fall.

"Hello Marie." A angelic voice said.

She turned her head to see a woman wearing a long blue dress walk up to her.

"Who are you?" She asked confused.

"My name is Angelica.... I've come to ask for your help." The woman said with a smile.

"My help with what?" She asked confused.

"Saving Serassa from Jhaan." Angelica said happily.
