Marie felt a yawn leave her lips and Remi looked at her with a frown.

"Your seem tired Marie. Maybe you should get some sleep." He said softly.

She nodded her head and stood up and walked away from the edge of the lake. She saw a tree and smiled as she made a pillow out of leaves and laid down beside it. She shut her eyes and soon she fell asleep. As her eyes closed Remi looked at her sadly.

"Very good Remi." A voice said from behind him.

Remi turned and gasped as he saw Jhaan leaning against a rock.

"King Jhaan!" Remi squeaked as he bowed to him.

"I see Argus gave the child the ring." He said with a laugh.

"What did you do to her?" Remi asked sadly.

"I put her to sleep. She is having the life she always wanted." Jhaan said as he moved a strand of hair from her face.

Remi looked at her sadly and Jhaan turned to look at him with a smirk.

"Would you like to see what our believer dreams about?" Jhaan asked with a laugh.

Remi nodded his head sadly and Jhaan snapped his fingers. They appeared in a house and Jhaan smiled as he picked up the stuffed dragon.

"Reminds me of Argus." Remi said with a smile.

They saw Marie run into the room and Remi smiled as she passed by him.

"Come back here!" A woman yelled laughing as she chased after Marie.

"Who is that?" Remi asked softly.

"Mommy stop!" Marie squeaked as she was tickled by the woman.

"Going to give in and go to bed?" Her mother asked with a smile.

Marie nodded her head and smiled as her mother picked up the stuffed dragon and gave it to her.

"Argus. You know I met him. He was a little mean but nice all the same. He gave me this ring." Marie said holding it up.

"And it is beautiful. Reminds me of king Jhaan's ring." Her mother said with a smile.

"Can you finish the story?" Marie asked with a smile.

"Alright." She said as she stood up and grabbed a book.

The book had a ring and necklace on the front and the words Serassa written at the top.

"So after the prince Jhaan was banished, his sister took the throne. Jhaan was so angry he tried to attack her, in doing so he caused his imprisonment." She explained.

"How?"

"He tried to make the queen into a dragon, but he actually made her most trusted knight a dragon."

"Wait Argus was a human?" Marie asked shocked.

"No... He was an elf. A very powerful elf. Everyone loved his tricks and would come to see them from miles away. After he was turned into a dragon and cursed to be one until Jhaan set him free."

"Why is Jhaan so mean? Why hurt all of these people?" Marie asked sadly.

"Because he had a broken heart. Not many knew that, but he was there when his father was killed." She said sadly.

"What happen?" Marie asked confused.

"His father and Jhaan left for a hunt.... they were surprised by trolls.... the trolls didn't mean to cause the death of the king but they did. Because of this Jhaan hates them with ever bone in his body."

"What happen?"

"The king and Jhaan were racing and a troll got in the way. So he didn't hit the troll the king moved his horse the other way. Down a small hill and he fell off and hit his head on a tree." She said sadly.

"I feel sorry for Jhaan.... I know what it feels like to loss the person you love most." Marie said with tear felled eyes.

"What are you talking about?" Her mother asked confused.

"I'm talking about how your not real." She whispered.

Jhaan looked at her shocked and her mother looked at her confused.

"Sweetheart I'm real. I'm holding your hand." Her mother said as she gently took her hand.

"This is a dream.... you left just like the king..... and I'm turning into Jhaan.... I get so angry at daddy." She said sadly.

"She knows it's a dream." Remi said with a frown.

"Sweetheart tho isn't a dream." Her mother said hugging her.

"I want to wake up.... I want to save my friends.... to save Remi.... Angelica....Lady.... and Argus. They need me! I can't abandon them! I can't abandon any of them!" Marie exclaimed as she stood up and rushed out of the room.

Jhaan followed her with Remi and they watched her make it to the door. Marie tried to open the door but it was locked.

"I want to go back to Serassa! I need to help them! I need to save my friends!" Marie yelled as she pulled on the door once more.

The door open and a light shown through the house.

"No!" Jhaan yelled as he tried to grab her.
