The Journey across the plains
{3rd p.o.v}
If you found yourself taking a camping trip or deciding to go on a road trip through the strip of land called the Keller Fields between Fiore and Britannia, you might have the small chance of getting a glimpse of Diane the giant, whom was running at higher speeds than any human could ever be able to reach.
Standing taller than any of the buildings nearby, if you looked up, you may get a glimpse at her face. However, if you somehow managed to look closely, you could see a girl with white hair hanging onto the collar of her leotard for dear life. And if you stopped to hear, the sound of wordless screaming could be heard only slightly above the rush of wind and the crash of Diane's footsteps.
[With Diane and Lisanna]
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA," The screaming had been going on for almost the entire time they had been running, which was hours at this point, so it was a wonder at how the small girl hadn't lost her voice already.
"STOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPPLEASEPLEASESTOOOOOOOOOOP!"
A wide river was coming up, which the giant jumped and slide into a stop on the other side of.
"I guess it could be a good time to stop," The giant put her hand up above her eyes to look at the moon in the sky, nearing the middle. She then crouched down and swung her backpack around so that is was sitting on the ground before sitting down herself. She then took the wind beaten girl off of her shoulder and lightly set her down on a soft bit of grass near the river bed.
"You think! It's almost midnight! We haven't stopped to eat anything and people nearby might get disturbed by your running."
"Now that you say something about it, I am getting kinda hungry. Maybe there will be some boar nearby that we can make a meal out of..." The giant trailed off, sniffing the air and turning to the West. "I smell something over there, If you can go catch it i'll make a fire to cook it."
"Sure, fine," The air around her seemed to glow slightly, then the glow over took her and her form started to shift and distort into that of an animal. She had turned into a larger variant of a leopard, however the colors were in varying shades of pink, purple, and pastel greens and yellows. She then stalked into the underbrush, using her enhanced sense of smell to locate where exactly this food was.
When Lisanna was no longer audible, Diane brought out a small bottle in regular human standards and struggled for a moment to pop the cap off. Then she took a small capsule and managed to swallow it. She felt for a moment like she was being condensed into a little ball, and then suddenly she was shrinking. Her clothes started to glow and seemed to change shape as well with her size, until suddenly a human sized version of Diane sat next to an also shrunken backpack
She took a quick look around to see if anyone had witnessed what had just happened, before turning to the river bed to collect some of the rocks on the edge of the stream. She walked back with the rocks to the area they had claimed on their way to Vaizel. She then looked around for some good pieces of wood to use before making a bonfire tent, then adding a little bit of underbrush and some sticks to serve as kindling. Then digging in her bag, she found a piece of steel and a small flint shard, then walked back to the setup.
She struck them together once. It didn't take.
She struck them again. A small bit of smoke started to drift upward.
She struck a third time.
Suddenly there was a blaze that stood taller than she did at the moment. Looking around she went to find some logs so she could make a stand to cook whatever Lisanna brought back.
"Holy Crap! How did you get it that big so quickly!?" Speak of the devil.
" Survival skills. What did you get?"
Stepping more towards the fire, she dropped three boar off of her back, as well as four rabbits from her mouth.
"Jeez, show off..."
"Hey! I got us food didn't I!" The air around Lisanna started to glow and her figure distorted again as she transformed back into her human shape.
"I was just teasing you. Besides, thats a lot more than i've ever gotten on my own. I'll start with the rabbits so that you can eat first. We'll save most of the food, but I'll probably eat most of the boar seeing as I can eat a lot more than you." As she finished that sentence she walked over and picked up the pile of rabbits by the ears.
"By the way, why are you small again?" Lisanna had begun to drag the boar one at a time to rest near the fire on the side that Diane would sit.
"I had a bottle of the medication that I would take while I was still in Fairy Tail that kept me from growing too large. It's another one of the reasons that I was so weak. It would limit my magic condiderably, but I would also need a certain amount of magic energy to keep my body from going completely out of wack. Though I think something happened to it over the seven years that I was asleep because I don't feel the magic limiter too much anymore." Diane was sitting on a tree stump while skinning the rabbits that lisanna had brought back. Suddenly she twitched, then set the knife and rabbit down before reaching into her bag.
She brought out her key ring, then took Gemini off of the loop. The key had a slight glow to it, which pulsed at an even rhythm. It was a sign that the spirit wanted to be called upon. Immediately she held out her hand and swung the key through the air to open the gate between the worlds. There was a flash as a magic symbol was drawn in the air at a fast speed, then two glowing figures emerged.
Gemi and Mini, the twins, more commonly known as Gemini. They solidified into their two small forms that had the appearence of blue skin, orange and brown clothing, and button like eyes that could fool you into believing they were true eyes if you didn't look hard enough. They floated toward their summoner, then took place on either side of her head.
"We are so sorry Miss Lucy!" Gemi spoke first, hugging onto the left side of the girls head.
"They had Merlin with them. She figured it out," Mini copied her twins actions, hugging onto the right side of the girls head.
"They didn't suspect anything until she had to just go ahead and run her mouth."
"What did you expect from her! One of the cleverest masters that we've had so far. I still don't entirely like her too much. Or that fairy boy. Or the immortal. Or-"
"Wait a second! The Sins were there? And what do you mean Merlin was your master! I didn't know you had any affiliation with her at all!" Diane was sitting up on her knees at this point, looking like she was ready to just get up and run all the way back to the forest that they had just run from. Lisanna stood up, yelling out in surprise at what she was hearing.
"So you mean to tell me that you've known about the sins the whole time, yet you didn't tell anyone! You probably could've proved their innocence," She moved to look at Diane." Isn't that right."
"No. Celestial spirits are forbidden from telling anyone outside of their contracts about former masters. And even then I would have had to come out to the kingdom as my real identity to justify wanting to get involved with the case. And to be honest, I don't think anyone would have believed a celestial spirit of one of the sins anyway, it would just look like I told them what to say to make the story believable," Diane sat back down cross-legged.
"Oh."
"Thank you for the report Gemini. You tried your best, that's all that counts. You can go back now."
With that the two figures started to shimmer, then they disappeared in a small poof of smoke. The two girls took a moment to look at each other, then Diane sat back down, picked up the knife and the rabbit and continued fixing food for the both of them.

[With Team Natsu on their way back to Magnolia]
The teams were currently leaving the train station after the hour long ride home. They had spent most of the day resting after what had happened earlier in the night and said their final goodbyes to the Sins before heading off. As they continued walking down the streets toward the guild hall, Team Shadow Gear and Gajeel seperated from the group to go get some late lunch.
"What are we gonna tell Mirajane? Oh god, she's gonna be pissed! I can't believe Lucy had to kidnap Lisanna too. Couldn't she have just up and ran off instead of having us explain to MiraJane why we came back without her sister who had only just reappeared a couple months ago!" Natsu looked panicked, to say the least.
"Relax Flame-brain, Mira will understand. We just gotta make sure that Erza is the one to explain it," On the way home Gray had striped off his jacket and shirt, fully exposing his Fairy Tail emblem, as well as the rest of his chest. He walked with his arms crossed behind his head.
"I can hear you two," Erza walked ahead of them, dragging along a large cart filled to the brim with her belongings.
They ignored that, conspiring together on how to get Mira to believe that they weren't at fault for losing her dear baby sister.
Juvia stood to the side with Wendy, holding on to the articles of clothing that Gray had dropped, but not wanting to get closer to give them back due to the danger of Erza losing her cool and jumping back to pummel the two males. That and she just didn't want to give them back, instead put them in her ever increasing collection of clothing Gray had forgotten to retrieve at the guild and Mira had asked her to return (Not that she ever did though.)
Wendy just sighed and looked ahead, noting that they were almost to the guild hall. They would be in so much trouble.

Levy and Gajeel were walking through the streets of Magnolia, holding hands and just talking, and the occasional look back to see if they could find where Jet and Droy were hiding as they stalked their date. Currently they were both trying to hide behind a small stack of crates near that wall of the nearby restaurant that they had had a late lunch. They were failing miserably, seeing as the crate was too small to hide Droy's size and they couldn't get along for a minute. They kept pushing and shoving each other trying to get the other one to get a different hiding spot, not yet realizing that the couple had moved on down the street and would be lost to them in seconds.
Turning back toward Gajeel, Levy said," Do you think we should get them, I don't want the fight to escalate too far."
"Nah, they'll realize we've moved on soon enough. Besides, as soon as they manage to catch up they'll be the best of friends over the fact that they hate us as a couple and want to ruin our date," Gajeel didn't even want to look back, already able to smell the reapproaching scents of the two men.
"You're right. I just don't see why they don't like the fact that I'm happy with you."
"It's cause they like you too, shrimp."
"I guess...''
Gajeel looked down at the blue haired girl. "What's wrong Levy. You get like this whenever you think too much."
She sighed, then looked up to meet eyes with Gajeel before quickly averting her eyes.
"It's just that, we have all of our lost friends back, Lucy is apparently some kind of double agent, and we met the Seven Deadly Sins! When will things ever go back to being normal?"
Gajeel chuckled quietly, then stopped and went to pick Levy up. He held her at the hip so that they were face to face. Then he said," Shrimp, we're a part of the Fairy Tail guild. When have things ever been normal?"

Hello people, its me, ya boi.
But anyway, take this. It took me way too long to make and the ending was a little bit rushed since I didn't want to keep you all waiting any longer. Between the end of Marching Band season, the holidays, having to babysit my 6th grade brother to make sure he doesn't do anything and is miserable for being grounded, and being really tired and unable to think or write, I really haven't had much motivation.
HOWEVER
I want to thank everyone who has decided to read this book new, or who has stuck along with the ride. 5.7k people reading this is pretty much a dream come true for me, and I want to say thank you all so much. I really hope you all like it so far.
So I still would like to know if you have any specific scenarios you would like to see happen during the next couple chapters. I could really use the suggestions, just make sure to comment on the chapter that I asked for them on.
But anyway, JuniorBlue out. I'll see you next time!
