It took a couple days, but the guild members had somehow managed to coax their master into telling them the truth behind Lucy and why she had left.

Said man sat on the guild bar, drink in hand, and a somber expression. All of the members stood around him waiting intently for him to speak. He took a long drink from the mug before finally opening his mouth to speak.

"As you know, Lucy was a celestial wizard," many nods went through the crowd. "However, that is not the only ability that she had." This acquired many confused looks and murmurs from the crowd. One mage, a pinkett wearing a white scarf, bursted out with, "But the only magic she could ever use was celestial magic. What are you-" He was then sharply cut off by the hand and glare of a red headed woman clad in armor. She then gestured for him to continue.

"Thank you Erza. As I was saying, Lucy had magical abilities that could, if desired, take down the entire Capitol with 3 strikes. There were only 6 others who could match her in power. Those were the others of the Seven Deadly Sins."

Many gasps could be heard throughout the guildhall. One member, a girl with short blue hair, said, "Wait, but that would mean!"

"Correct. Lucy's real identity is Diane, the Serpent Sin of Envy."

"But sir, how is that possible?! Diane was rumored to have one of the most fearsome amounts of power in all of the kingdoms! Lucy wasn't anywhere near powerful enough to do that!" A raven haired male said, surprise written on his features.

"Though it is true in the state she was in the state she was in, I assure you that she is every bit as powerful as the legends say. She had been taking a special medication to supress her power, among other things as well. That is how she was able to blend in with the normal people. She then changed parts of her appearance, learned a new magic, and 'lost' her bonded weapon. This all happened because they had been falsely accused, along with her fellow sins, of killing the Grandmaster of an elite organization of knights called the Holy Knights. They were forced to scatter to be able to get out without apprehension. If the amount of time to have passed is correct, that would mean that it all took place about 10 years ago." Several gasps were heard.

A small girl with long dark blue pigtails said, "Then sir, how old would that make her?"

"Well, it would make her approximately 750 years old a couple months ago. Of course, she was only 742 when she came to the guild."

At this point many guild members were completely dumbfounded. Not only had they been lied to about their own guildmate, but their master was in on it the whole time. Though it still didn't explain why she was told to leave.

"I am not finished. Because of the alleged crime that had been committed, her name would not be clear for a long time. So, after I found her, I gave specific orders for her to go into even further hiding, or complete solitude, should I become unable to monitor her. The magic council could have easily taken her because of it. That is the end of my story."

Another bluenette spoke up, "Juvia is confused. If love rival is so powerful couldn't she have easily fought off the council?"

"Though it is possible, she would be unable to because of the suppressants bringing her magic power to less than theirs. Besides, fighting back would only further prove her guilt, and going with them would prove to be futile."

The guildhall ran quiet as all of the members tried to take in all of the information that had been presented to them. A blue cat then said in a quiet voice, "But then, where's Lushee?" All eyes were turned back to the old man as he took another drink then said, "I don't know."

Sounds of shock and exasperation echoed through the room before being silenced by the raised hand of the small man.

"I don't know because we agreed that she would go to a random place before going comatose to lessen her magicfield. No doubt that she is somewhere that was hard to find and heavily guarded."

"Then she wouldn't know that it's safe to come out now..." A girl with short white hair said. Suddenly a determined look came over her face. "We have to find her!"

Cheers and agreements ring out as the once silent guild erupted into sound.

A man with long spiky black hair said, "How did you meet her the first time?"

"Ah, that's quite the story." At this point he had a small smile on his face as his expression got a dazed look. "It was back before Natsu and Lucy's meeting in Hargeon. I was walking through the forest to get some things for Mirajane. Once I was near the middle of the forest I began to see something out of the corner of my eye. Normally I would avoid something, but it piqued my interest. As I mad my way towards the clearing I came to realize what I was seeing. It was Lucy, who had been sitting on the ground being supported by a very large tree. All of her armor was still on, so I couldn't see who she was yet. It didn't take long before we had gotten acquainted enough for her to remove her helmet. I saw a girl, with stunning violet eyes and blonde pigtails. When I did realize who she was I decided that I would do anything that I could to protect her. That is why I was so angry when she had been kidnapped by Phantom lord. We had eventually worked out a deal. I would figure out a way to keep her safe, and she would pose as a guildmember for security. It took a couple weeks, but we had eventually set up a foolproof plan. Though, unfortunately, we did not count for being put into stasis on Tenroujima for 7 years." He go quiet for a little bit then said, "I loved her like my own daughter. That it the end of that story."

They all looked over to the wanted board next to the usual request board. 5 posters had a pin next to them. The other two hadn't been touched yet. One being a face with no familiarity, and the other being their own comrade.

It was true, that the poster of Diane, the Serpent Sin of Envy, had quite the likeness of Lucy Heartfilia.

A woman standing off to the side, who had longer white hair then the previous girl, said, "Well then, maybe you should take some jobs before you go on your little adventure. There are a couple new ones to go on." She stopped to think for a moment, then said, "Actually, I have a good job you could go on." This time she was talking to Team Natsu, Team Shadow Gear, Gajeel, Lisanna, and Juvia.

She walked behind the counter and came out to hand a job request with an S stamp to the red-haired woman. Erza looked at the request and read it aloud.

HELP

There is a monster in the forest.
It is scaring away a lot of our tourists and we need it taken care of.

Reward: 1,000,000

More details will be given upon arrival.

After hearing this, the group widened their eyes and looked at each other to deduce whether or not everyone was up to it. A simultaneous nod showed that the task was not too hard for them.

Erza looked back to the older Strauss sister and voiced their agreement. The woman nodded, took the paper to log it, then handed it back.

"I look forward to seeing how your first S class mission will go. Stay safe!"

With that they all dispersed to gather their things.
