1 Week Later:

The dynamic duo of Leah Van Dale and Brandon Bazil had an amazing first week of live shows going up against the likes of Shelton Benjamin, Naomi, Rey Mysterio, Peyton Royce, and many more. That Tuesday morning, the two woke up in at a hotel in Chicago, Illinois. Leah had taken it upon herself to sleep on his chest for the night as the two dreamily went to sleep that night.
Soon, Leah was the first to stir awake. She slowly made her way off of him and out of bed quietly walking over to the bathroom to get ready for the day. A few minutes later, she emerged in jeans and a t-shirt. Surprised to see he was still out on the bed, she got out her phone and took a photo and posted it to her instagram with the caption...

Leah sat down on the bed and watched some Netflix on her phone before he stirred and soon rose from the bed.

Leah: About time, I thought you'd never get up!

She said chuckling a bit.

Brandon: Hey, I can't help it. You know a guy like me sleeps like a rock when he hits the hay.

They shared a laughed as he went to get ready himself. One shower, brushing of teeth and hair brush later, he walked out of the bathroom sporting his merch from NXT along with jeans.

Leah: Bringing old shirts out now are we?

Brandon: What you don't like?

Leah: No...

She walked up closer closing the gap in between the two.

Leah: I love it... just as much as I love you.

Brandon: Love you too.

They kissed for a brief moment before having a walk around of Chi-town, scouting out the place and looking for a local gym. They eventually lucked out and found one. One intense workout session later, they walked to tropical smoothie to relax.

Leah: Huh... muscle blaster with whey protein?

She took a sip.

Leah: Tastes pretty good to me!

Brandon: That's why I usually get it.

Silence fell upon the two as the two finished their drinks.

Leah: So... uh... you ready for tonight?

Brandon: Yeah... more than ready.

Leah: So am I! I might just freeze when I first do my entrance.

Brandon: Hey, you'll do fine. I know you will. Just remember the rings the same size.

Leah: Thanks!

They kissed before leaving tropical smoothie and headed for the arena for their first TV taping.
As they arrived and walked backstage, Leah was mesmerized by the sight of the bigger backstage area.

Leah: wow! This is a lot bigger than Full Sail.

Brandon: You're telling me. Believe it or not this is bigger than the backstage areas back in Japan.

Leah: Really?

Brandon: Yeah, the only place I'd know that had a backstage like this is the dome, but I haven't wrestled there yet.

Leah: Well maybe your time will come soon. Come on! It's time to get ready for the show!

Before he could say anything else, he was dragged into their locker room To prepare for the night.

Leah had a match against the queen of hearts Natalya where as her significant other had a match against Andrade Almas. After they finished putting gear on and lacing boots on, the two walked out side by side and made their way to gorilla. When they got there, Leah walked off to talk with Nattie whilst he went to stretch and get ready for his first televised match on Smackdown. As he finished, he leaned back against one of the walls, closed his eyes and took a deep breath to calm down and focus up. As he was, he heard a familiar voice which stirred his focus.

Becky: Fancy seeing you here eh?

He opened his eyes.

Brandon: B-Becky?

Becky: Hey.

She smiled as the two shared a hug.

Becky: How you been?

Brandon: Ah... decent. Ya know... live shows and stuff.

Becky: Yeah... same here. Where's Leah?

Brandon: Just over there. I walked over here to get some time to focus.

Becky: You good?

Brandon: Yeah... Y-Yeah I'm good.

Becky: Ok then. Hey if there's anything you two need, you just let me know ok? I want to be that one friend you guys can, you know, depend on when things get rough.

Brandon: Thanks... i mean it, and I'm pretty sure she'd say the same thing too.

Becky: No problem.

The two shared one more hug before she left him to continue getting ready for his debut.
She soon made her way over to Leah who was just finishing her conversation with Nattie.

Leah: Oh Hey!! I thought you debuted next week!

Becky: Yeah... but I thought I'd come see you guys. You know, as a supporting role.

Leah: Aww!! Thanks for stopping by!

Becky: Don't mention it.

The two besties shared a hug. Before both catching a look at Brandon who's match was next.

Leah: You talk to him yet?

Becky: Just got done talking a few minutes ago actually.

She sighed.

Becky: I miss when we used to be together... back in high school. You know how must high school relationships work out.

She sighed as she continued.

Becky: We had a falling out and... we... we just didn't talk to each other anymore. We were essentially broken up.

Leah: Wait... you had a relationship... with him!

Becky shushed her.

Becky: Quiet down will ya? Yes. Ok? Yes I did.

She nearly broke down as the two hugged it out.

Becky: I'm sorry.

Leah: It's okay.

Brandon glanced back at the two and frowned but reassured himself that things were on the up and up, so he made his to the entrance of the stage. When he walked out, the fans went absolutely crazy as "Welcome to the jungle", his theme song at the time, blared in the background.

Hamilton: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Jacksonville, Florida weighing in at 256 lbs... Brandon Powers!!

The crowd cheered loudly as he made his way to the ring, climbed up to the to the top rope and looked out at the sea of humanity known quite simply as the WWE universe.

As he prepared to go to battle, Andrade's theme played as he made his way out to the ring.

A few moments later, the bell sounded as the match began. A few minutes, one super-kick, and a POWR Outages later, Brandon's hand was raised in victory.

He climbed on the second rope and did his signature pose before hopping down and exited the ring.

When he got backstage Leah rushed in for a hug nearly tackling the 5 ft superstar.

Leah: That. Was Awesome!! What a way to debut!

Brandon : Yeah? Glad you liked it!

Leah: The fans dug it too! Didn't you here them!?

Brandon: Hear them? I felt them! I thought for a second that the roof was blowing off!!

They shared a laugh as Leah started prepping for her debut match.

Brandon: Go get 'em babe!

Leah: Will do!

Moments later, her as Natalya was making a promo for an open challenge, Leah's music hit as she walked out to the stage.

Leah: Nattie Nattie Nattie, you clearly are living in the past darling. Times have changed. We don't need people like you here. We already have people like Asuka, people like The Queen [insert woo here] Charlotte Flair, we even have Becky Lynch who has been on her own hot streak as of late. So... what're you still doing here.

Nattie: I'm still here because I have to prove to you newbies that I still got it. I'm still here not just for myself, but for them!

She pointed to the crowd as they cheered. Leah twirled her hair in boredom.

Nattie: Because they know the same thing I know. They know that neither you... nor your so called boyfriend will amount to anything around here.

Leah just stood there a look of anger, but the look changed to a sadistic grin as Brandon's music played one more time as he made his way beside her.

Brandon: Right, so I was sitting backstage minding my own business when I heard you out here blabbing your gums about some. "We will never amount to anything" and I'm sitting here like... "You're mad... you're absolutely mad... no way I'm letting this opportunity slip." So after a grueling match with Almas and a W, I decided to head back out to clear the air.

He paused as the crowd cheered.

Brandon: So is that what you're going with? Huh? We will never amount to anything huh? Well then miss crazy cat lady let me fill you in on something alright. While you were here in your joke of a divas division here in the WWE, I was in Japan, training and honing my craft for many many years. Basically what I'm saying is, what you learn in a year, I learn in two months... tops.

The crowd cheered louder.

Brandon: But let's not forget, I'm not standing on this stage alone. Ladies and gentlemen... Carmella!!

Leah: Future Smackdown Women's Champion, Carmella.

She said as she walked down to ring and the bell rung signaling the start of the match. ,

There were many moments in this match where it looked like the queen of hearts would take it, but contrary to popular belief, Leah rocked Nattie with a super-kick then locked in the code of silence which made her tap out

Hamilton: Here is your winner, Carmella!

Leah rolled out of the ring as Nattie was going to attack her post match and walked backstage.

When she got there. Brandon, along with Becky were waiting for her. The three hugged it out and walked to her locker room. When they got there they high fived as Leah got changed so they could go to the hotel to get some sleep.
