Yawn! Dream opened his mouth wide and showed his large canines. His sister and Frost were sitting together and talking while he was lying on the big rock in the center of the clearing. He sniffed the air and smelled the slight smell of a cat.

"Violet?!" Frost yelled in the direction of the cat.

"Yes," a soft kind voice said as the she-cat walked into the clearing. Her icy blue eyes staring at Dream. "Hi Cobra, hi Frost," Violet said. "Whose that?" 

"My brother Dream." 

"Doesn't he have the best coloring?" Frost said. 

"Yes, he does... I suppose" She said with a small laugh. "I'm hungry can we go hunt?" 

"Sure, me and Cobra will come with you... Dream do you want to come?" Frost asked.

"I think I will hunt by myself," Dream said. Violet is so pretty. Dream thought. He shook his head. I can't be with her... so it doesn't matter. The tom walked out with the other cats but spread out to the side. Dream branched off toward the large tree his mother called 'The Sky Oak'. He could still hear his sister's voice in the distance chatting away with Violet (the most beautiful cat in the world) and Frost.

Scuffle. Dream stopped and smelled the air. Mouse! He crouched down and slunk closer and closer to the mouse. The wood mouse was sniffing around the tree roots of 'The Sky Oak'. He pounced just in time to catch the wood mouse. He gave the mouse a nip and continued. He walked past the tree and dug a small hole. He placed the mouse inside and covered it with dead leaves.

"Oh, no it's already leaf-fall" Dream exclaimed. A bird let out a warning call and flew away. "Fox-dung!" he cursed. He walked away towards a bramble bush. He crouched down and walked through the bush. He came out the other side to see a rabbit sniffing the ground. He started the chase after the rabbit. The rabbit was a few fox-tails ahead of him. 

"Aww" A bird let out a cry and flew off. He kept after the rabbit until he came to a pouncing distance. He pounced on the creature. He nipped its throat and it fell limp. He walked back over to the large tree. He unburied the mouse and picked it up. He carried the prey back through the forest. He could hear the voices of Frost, Violet, and Cobra talking. He walked through the entrance and into the clearing. 

"Hi Dream," Violet said. The she-cats were gathered around two rabbits digging into their meals. He dropped his kill near them and picked up the mouse. "Eat the rabbits with us," Violet said looking over to Dream. He dropped the mouse and sat down between Cobra and Violet. His pelt bristled as it brushed against Violet's.
