Cream and Rouge continue to fly, as Sans kept on holding onto Cream's gloved hand. Sans looks down, as he saw the ground that is below him. Needless to say, Sans is a bit worried that he'll fall, and he does not want that to happen to him.

He began to think of what he had just been told of Shadow, as they have been flying through the air. From what he has heard, Shadow is an opposite to Sonic. He is cold, brooding, and very ruthless, not to mention very serious. He also has much more powers compared to Sonic, and is said to be just as fast as him, thanks to the shoes that he has.

Sans looks down, as he than thought down at himself.

'i wonder if undyne could stand a chance against shadow, of the both of them ever fought.'

He than raised his hand, and summons a spear that Undyne had. He clenched his fist, and threw it...as Demonized Mobian nearly tried grabbing Cream from behind. Rouge than looks back and saw the demonized bird Mobians coming towards them.

"That's bad."

Rouge spoke out, as Sans nodded.

"agreed. we need to think of something, and fast. i'll see if i can hold them off."

He extended his hand, and a bunch of Gaster Blasters appeared, as they fired at the Demonized Bird Mobians.

The Gaster Blasters are so powerful, they were able to annihilate so many of them at once. But that is now going to stop some of them from catching up to them. He than fired some of the spears, and in his hope, hit the birds. But they didn't hit them. What it did do, though, was slow them down. Sans began to look around, and saw that none of them are going from the ground for some reason, nor did they seem to rise from the ground. Sans snarled, as he smacked his head with his hand.

"we've got no choice. we need to break their like of sight. rouge, cream!!"

Both Rouge and Cream turn to Sans, as he spoke out.

"we need to get to lower ground as fast as possible. That way, we can get out of their line of sight."

Rouge, looking and seeing the amount of them that are coming, and there are too many of them to count. Rouge sighed, and spoke out.

"Guess we have no choice. We need to go down."

Cheese nodded her head, and both Rouge and Cream immediately began to fly down. The Demonized Bird Mobians, in exchange for their ability to fly, unforuentlu lose the ability to see in the darkness. Their eyes can no longer get used to it, and they can only see incredibly well in the light. And since the first is so dark, they avoided the trees and flied out of the way. The 3 looked up, as they saw the demons fly away.

"phew...that was close."

Sans spoke out, as Rouge than looks at the tracking device again, to see where Shadow is now. Surprisingly...they are mow even more closer than ever. It is obvious that Shadow is somewhere around here. And they need to find him.

"We need to go to the East, right now."

Rouge spoke out, as Sans nodded.

"Are you sure that Shadow would join in and come with us, Ms. Rouge?"

Rouge actually sighed a bit, and spoke out.

"In all honesty, I don't really know. Shadow is always arrogant and stubborn in what he does. And knowing him, he thinks that he can take on the big leader of the demons all on his own."

Sans than looks at Rouge and spoke out.

"y'know, you could ha e just told us all from the start."

Rouge simply stuck her tongue out at Sans, who stares at Rouge with a blank expression now on his face. He than facepalmed a little bit, before speaking out.

"This is going to be a very, very long time now."

Elsewhere...

In a area of blood-covered grass and a river of blood, a fight is happening in one of the areas, as gunshots and screams can be heard, cries of agony and spite as a demon began to fight against a Mobian, only to be overpowered by it.

SHREEEEIIIIIIIIKKKK!!!!

A loud noise was heard, as a demonized Mobians howled in pain. Walking forward to the mobian, was none other than the ultimate life form himself, Shadow the Hedgehog. And unfortunate for the demons, they attacked Shadow at a very bad time, as he's in an angry mood.

Shadow looked down at the demons in a rage, thinking of what they had done. Although he may not show of it, he really did care for some of his friend, some he was really close to. To see them become demonized really made Shadow get pushed to the edge, and now...he is going to take his anger on the ones that are friends of those demons. So, taking out a Gun, Shadow began to shoot at the demons he's attacking.

Shadow than goes guns blazing, as he begins to shoot the demons with every bullet that he has with him. But the demons, not all of them went down by just one single shot. In fact, thanks to their demon physiology, they are much more tougher to take down. In fact, only the weaker demons have been killed, either by a shot to the head, or because they have been given multiple shots.

Shadow kept on shooting, but eventually, he wasted all of the bullets that is in his magazine. So, Shadow decides to use the powers that he is normally able to use, and does as much as Sonic. Shadow than skates full speed towards them, before jumping into the air, and began to use his spin attack. The demons tried to stop catch Shadow, but all they succeeded in, was getting cut in half. The body splits, as some blood, muscle, and small strands of organs tried to hold the body together, but it failed, and the body dropped down to the floor. And Shadow, he is not done attacking. In fact, with the demons, he is just gettin started at killing them.

As soon as he landed on the ground, he than began to attack with his physical strength against the demons. And due to being an...ultimate life form, Shadow is not only as strong as Sonic, but unlike Sonic, he is far more ruthless and very violent in combat. He even began to use his hover shoes as weapons, as when one demon appeared to him, not only did Shadow pin the demon down, but he used the jet flames from his hover shoes to burn its face off.

Shadow than landed on the ground, and turned around to see another demon coming towards him. He was preparing his own attack, but than...the demon suddenly became suspended in midair. Shadow looked confused, until, he saw someone behind the demon, as their hand was sticking out and extended.

Behind the demon was a skeleton. It is wearing a blue coat, white shirt, black pants with a single white stripe, and is wearing blue shoes. The clothes are dusty, and the skeleton looked like he is ready to murder, as his grin shows bloodlust. A grin that is shown to be crazed and unstable, and will stop at nothing to kill just to get more stronger.

The Skeleton's left eye glows purple, as he lifts the Demon up, before he swings his left arm, sending it flying away. The demon, though was not going to be sent away, and charge back at the skeleton. But the Skeleton lifts his hand up...and a skull-like thing appeared in front of it, before it fired out a blast of energy, which obliterated the demon in an instant. He than turns to Shadow, as Shadow exteneded his hand and opened his palm, in order to get ready his Chaos Spears and attack the skeleton, due to the way that he is looking at him. He dies nit know why, but there is something off about the skeleton that makes him very weary of it. After a little while, the Skeleton...he spoke out.

"Hey, you're Shadow, right?"

Shadow turns to Sans and spoke out in an aggressive tone.

"How do you know my name?"

Sans looks at Shadow and spoke out.

"Rouge told me about you. She's even here right now."

Shadow stared at Sans, until he looks up and sees Rouge coming down along with Cream. Shadow was surprised, as she was not expecting for Rouge to survive.

"Rouge..."

Rouge smiled, as she spoke out in a teasing tone.

"Hey, Shadow. Do you miss me?"

Shadow looks away, clearly annoyed but that. The Skeleton than spoke out to the black hedgehog.

"in case i did not actually say it, my name is Sans. Sans the Skeleton."

Shadow grunted, as if to say that he will remember that name, but than spoke out to Sans.

"Why are you here to see me?"

Sans was about to answer his question. But than, more demonic Mobians surrounded the group. Sans and the others took a step back, and their backs pressed against each other. The demonic Mobians began to surround everyone, as they look like they are ready to kill them, all of them, no matter what it is that they do.

Sans and the others look around to see how many of the Demonized Mobians are there inside of the area that they are in now. But there is just way to many to count, and it looks like they'll need to fight. Sans than spoke.

"We can talk later. How about we deal with this, first of all?"

Shadow just grunted, before nodding his head, agreeing with Sans. Sans smiled, as he than spoke to himself.

"After all..."

Sans looks at the demons, before speaking out.

"Who says I don't need anymore LV to obtain? I still need them, in case their leader, Exetior comes."

They than began to fight against the demonized Mobians, who, by their masters, are planning from kill them, so they can be demonized as well. The thing is, there is no holding back for everyone. They are going all out. Sans and Rouge already began to make their violent attack, while Shadow still went on with the demon killing spree. Cream, she just closes her eyes and covered her ears, as she does not want to see or hear what is about to happen to her friends and the demons that are attacking.

Sans began to attack it has everything that he has, as he used Gaster Blasters, Bones, and even used purple magic on one of the demons. He suspended in the air with his Gravity Magic, and as soon as they were up, he than turned them purple, and as they have no idea how to use this type of magic, they ended up getting killed quite easily, due to being confused at what is going on.

Rouge was in the air, as she began to use her high heel shoes so weapons, which she used to stab the demons in the eyes, instantly killing them if deep enough and if more force had been added to. She began to kick and thrash the demons around with everything that she has in her techniques, and many of the demons began to fall down, due to the fact that Rouge is decimating them.

But than, she is in front of a larger demon, and the one does not look as kind as the others. In fact, this one is a rhino mobian of sorts, and it began to use it's strength to try and smash Rouge to the ground, in an effort to the and kill her. But Rouge simply flies up on the air. And when the rhino mobian jumps up to try and grab her, he missed and ended up touching the air. Needless to say, Rouge was not amused about this.

"You want me so badly?"

She than began to fly a little lot higher up into the river, before speaking out.

"You get me!"

Rouge than began to spin like a drill, and made a hole on the large demon Mobian that had tried to attack Cream and Sans. It stood still  and than...it's heart suddenly fell out and showed itself, before the demon collapse own to the ground, dead.

Rouge was covered in demonic blood, but that didn't really make her mad. In fact, she is more mad that they need to fight against the demonic Mobians once again, even though she has had enough doing it. Now, she is going to make sure that this ends by any means necessary, and with her new friend and Shadow at her side, this will not be a problem for her. In fact, it will be a playground of blood for everyone that is involved in killing the demonized Mobians.

Speaking of Shadow, he is dealing with his own pack of demons, and to him, they are as annoying as ever. He than jumped into the air, and began to use his spin attack to try and cut them in half. But seeing what had happened to one of their friends, they immediately got out of the way, and Shadow ends up burrowing into the ground. The demonic Mobians than began to look around, to see where he will come out of, only for one of the Mobians to look down, and see that the ground below him is beginning to rise. It didn't take long for the Mobian to realize what is about to happen next.

Shadow than erupts from the ground, and slices the Mobian in half, going up from the pelvis to the head, splitting it in half. He than lands on the ground, and snarled at the other, before he ran up, jumps in the air, and shouted out to it.

"Chaos...Spear!!!"

Shadow than fired Chaos Spears at the Demon, and at the same time, Sans fired a barrage of sharp purple bones at the demonized Mobians at his direction.

The bones pierced the bodies of the Demons. Some of their body parts, such as the heart, the kings, and the kidneys, they are pieced by the bones, and have came out from when the bones reach the other side. Sans than dodged the attack of another demon, and used his gravity manipulation to suspend it in the air, and slammed it into a bunch of trees. Sans smiled, but does not notice that a demon was about to attack Cream, and she is too busy closing her eyes to notice the demon getting close to her.

The demon, it was about to touch her, but than, a red glove appeared and stopped it by to filth grabbing the demon. The demon looked...to see the phantom papyrus, and he looks much more madder.

Needless to say, the Phantom Papyrus was not very happy, in spite of the grin that is on his face. And the Phantom looks like he is ready to kill anyone that stands in his way. But in this case, he is ready to kill the Demonized Mobian that had tried to touch Cream. So the Pahntom used his gloved hand to punch the demon away, before charging straight ahead and firing a bunch of red bones.

The demon was about to get out of the way, but the Phantom held his hand out, and all of a sudden, the entire area went into a blood red color, as the sounds of flesh ripping and piecing can be heard. When the area changed back to normal, the demon was in pieces, due to the red bones cutting and slicing bits and pieces of his body parts. And this ultimately killed the demon in the end, as it fell down to the ground. The Phantom smiled, as it than wrapped around Cream, so that she gets to be protected and not be hurt or demonized by any of the demons that are present in the area.

The barre kept on going on, until...finally, Shadow had enough. He began to glow red, and Rouge spoke out.

"Everyone, take cover."

Sans used his Gravity Manipulation to lift Cream into his arms, and went behind a large piece of rock, as Shadow than shouted out at the top of his lungs.

"Chaos..."

The demons took a step back, unsure what it is that Shadow'll do next.

"...BLAST!!!!"

Shadow than exploded in a bomb of red light, and all of the demons there have been either obliterated, or simply launched somewhere far away. Once the blast was finished, Sans, Cream, and Rouge came out of the large Boulder, and went to Shadow to see that he is now completely alright, through he's a bit tired.

After the fight is over...Shadow than spoke out to Sans.

"What are you? I do not recognize powers as immense as this."

Sans than spoke out.

"Didn't I tell you before? I'm a skeleton."

But Shadow was not amused, and Sans sighed, as it is obvious to Sans that Shadow has absolutely no sense of humor at all.

"sorry, excuse me. I am a member of a third race on mobius. I am called a monster, from mount ebott, my home."

This caught Shadow's attention, as he spoke out.

"Mount Ebott? But that mountain is said to make people disappear, should they ever fall into the mountain!"

Sans shook his head.

"no, they don't disappear, nor do they get killed by it. they can still come back to the outside if they decide to do it or not. mount ebott is simply a home to all of the monsters that live there, with different areas to go travel to. And it is the one place that the Demons don't know of yet. In fact, that is why I am here. I am told by the king to find any survivors and bring them to amount ebott, in order to protect them from the demons, as they cannot access this place, due to the powerful magic that is protecting and concealed it."

Rouge than stepped in front of Sans, and spoke out to Shadow.

"The point is, we now have a place where we can finally get out of this mess. We do not have to get hunted down by the demons anymore, and their boss who leads them and tries to get us all killed. We can finally escape this nightmare, Shadow. Please, come to Mount Ebott."

Shadow looks at Rouge, and for a moment...she was kind of hoping that he would make up his mind, and go with Sans. But sadly, this did not happen. No, instead, Shadow ended up doing the opposite, though she kind of was expecting that from him.

Shadow does not seem to want a shelter. In fact, he wants to defend on his own. He spoke out to Sans in a stern, arrogant tone of voice.

"I do not need to be protected, nor do I need help. I am the ultimate life form, and you all would only get in the way. I'm going to do this on my own. So do not even think that I am deserving of 'protection.' I am not here to be protected, I am here to end this."

Shadow began to walk away without a care, as Sans spoke out to Rouge by whispering into her ear.

"Is he always like this?"

Rouge nodded at Sans, before whispering back to Sans in an even tone.

"Pretty much, Sans."

As Shadow kept on waking away...a demonic voice spoke out.

"I have found you..."

Shadow than turns at the voice before he was done walking away, and Sans along with the others did as well, and they saw him. Exetior has arrived with Knuckles and Amy, who followed behind him. Exetior smiled cruelty, as his eye glowed red with malice and cruelty. He than notices Sans, as looked looked back at Exetior, who than spoke out to Sans.

"So you're the skeleton that has caused me so much trouble? I must say, off a monster, you are very powerful, which I can respect. But...you have broken the mind of tails after what you have done to him, and needless to say, I am very furious."

Sans smiled, as his own eyes glowed, the right eye glowing the red of determination, and the left eye glowing purple, combined with determination and the light blue of patience, before speaking it back to Exetior.

"well, that's kinda his own fault for charging in at me, y'know? and besides...it is in some people's nature to break people badly. And I'm also sure that you can break people as well."

Exetior laughs at what Sans has said to him, as he spoke back.

"Perhaps...but...he is still one of my favorite sevants. And you....you will pay for what you have done."

His eyes began to glow, as Shadow tries to launch a Chaos Spear at Exetior, who than makes a shield to defend against it. He than turns to Shadow, as he spoke out his last words.

"And you will not make it out alive."

He than used his powers to attack Shadow, only for the black hedgehog to move out of the way, and lands next to Sans. Sans than went in-front of  Cream to protect her, as Sans than spoke out.

"You've changed your mind yet?"
