Far away from the other island...and inside of the water...was Angel Island...home of the former guardian of the Master Emerald, Knuckles the Echidna, and now...the home for both the robots, Mecha Sonic and E-123 Omega.

Both Mecha Sonic and E-123 Omega have been using everything in their power to try and protect the Master Emerald from the hands of Exetior, the all powerful Demon of Sharpness. He has not come to the island as of yet, but no doubt that he will arrive to it soon. Although Mecha Sonic does not deny that he is evil...Exetior is far worse, due to what he does, and because of this, decides to work with E-123 Omega, another one of Robotnik's creations, in order to protect the Master Emerald from demon hands.

Right now...they are watching the horizon over the grassy area of the Island itself, the mist concealed the lands beyond Angel Island, as Mecha Sonic and E-123 Omega watch, as they await to see the next attack coming. As they kept on arching Mecha turns around to face his parent, before he than spoke out to E-123 Omega about if the demons are about to arrive soon or they haven'f arrive for Angel Island yet.

"Omega...do you see any of Exetior's forces?"

Omega began to look around, and scan the area as far as possible. Mecha looks at the horizon, to hear the results of Omega.

It has been a pretty long time...since this whole thing started. It felt like years, when it was only a month. Mecha Sonic...he could never forget it all...he could never forget the time, when he first had seen Exetior, the Demon of Sharpness, when he had gone through the robots like they were morning, killing off Silver Sonic and Metal Sonic like they were nothing,

before he moved on and killed his creator, Dr. Robotnik himself, right in front of his presence. And it was then...that Mecha Sonic had experienced his first emotion that he never thought that he would feel in such a scenario...such as this. The emotion that he felt...was none other, than Fear itself. When Exetior turns and tries to attack Mecha Sonic, who was flying up in the air, the robotic version of Sonic wasted no time, and had startled to flee for his life, if he ever has one, as he is nothing more than a machine, and he witnessed his master being Demonized in the process. Feeling like he is without a purpose, and the fact that his own master is forever enslaved by a enemy that is far worse than Dr. Robotnik, and having lost everything, he flies as fast as he could to Angel Island, which Knuckles had abandoned in an effort to find out what became of Sonic, where he had hid there, deactivated all alone,

until E-123 Omega discovered him, completely shutdown. After a little bit of a talk from Omega, Mecha Sonic decided to take a stand, and protect the Master Emerald in order to make sure Exetior does not get his hand on it. But than...an attack from the demonized tails happened, and they barely saved the Master Emerald. But because the place to position it was destroyed, it caused the Island to fall and sink, eventually, becoming one with Mobius. And because of that, it had now become far more vulnerable to Exetior's invasions, and both Mecha Sonic and E-123 Omega...they have no idea how long they can stand against Exetior's forces. So now...with luck...this will not be their final stand.

Than, Omega finished scanning the area, and spoke out to Mecha Sonic.

"Demon Arrival confirmed. Over 100 stacking Angel Island. One of them is the former guardian of the Master Emerald, Knuckles the Echidna."

Mecha Sonic made a sound that sound similar to a growl. He than spoke out calmly, though Omega is not sure if he is enraged after all these days.

"Figures. E-123 Omega. Prepare for combat."

Omega nodded, as he gets his Gatling guns ready, and prepares to fire at the demons that are coming towards Angel Island.

Mecha Sonic looks at the horizon...and he sees a bunch of figures flying. And Knuckles is there, gliding in the air, his fists forward, as he aims at Angel Island. Mecha Sonic looks down, as he clenched his fist, before looking back, and speaking out to himself.

"I have gotten this far in protecting the Master Emerald from the forces of Exetior. I will not fail and let them take it."

Mecha than unclenched his fists, and Mecha crouches down to the ground, the jet pack blasted at full power, before he takes flight, lifts off of the ground, and charges straight ahead at the former guardian of the Master Emerald itself.

Mecha charges forward at the demonized Knuckles, as he tries to take back the Master Emerald, in order for his master to use it. When that happened, both Knuckles and Mecha Sonic began to rumble with each other.

While the fight between Demon Knuckles and Mecha Sonic is happening, E-123 Omega steps forward, his Gatling Guns ready, and than, he began to fire at the Demons that are approaching Angel Island.

The bullets went through the heads of the demonized Mobians like they are nothing more than tissue paper. Blood and brain matter dropped down to the ocean floor, as E-123 Omega continues to shoot at the Demons that are invading Angel Island. One of the Demonized Mobians got to close, and E-123 Omega pulls out a double barreled laser gun form his right arm, and blasts it in the head, killing it, as the head got destroyed instantly.

He than launched drill missiles at the Demons, as the drills burrowed through the bodies, and left large holes in them, as they bled to death. He than used flamethrowers to ignite the demonized Mobians, and the fire made them suffer immense agony, until they dropped down to the ocean, as the flames killed them.

"Not a single one of the demons will reach Angel Island."

E-123 Omega spoke out, as he continues his assault on them, in his effort to protect Angel Island, as well as the Master Emerald. Because as of now...he feels like that he has nothing left to lose.

Knuckles punches Mecha Sonic in the chest, damaging him badly. But Mecha is not giving up that easily, as he than does his own spin attack on Knuckles, in an effort to slice him down.

Knuckles catches Mecha Sonic, but is getting a bit challenged by his strength, due to the way his arms are shaking at trying to hold off Mecha Sonic. He than threw Mecha Sonic back, as Mecha Sonic stops his ball attack, and lands onto the water.

Mecha Sonic rises up from the ground, as he looks at the Demonized Knuckles, who looks back at him worn his ruthless, demonic eyes.

"Give it up, Mecha Sonic. This time, I will bring the Master Emerald back to Master Exetior."

Mecha Sonic, however, remains defiant, as he stood up from the ground, his metal hide covered by the water, but he spoke back.

"Over my cold, dead body."

Knuckles snarled at Mecha Sonic for defying him, before speaking out.

"So be it."

He than charged at Mecha Sonic, and the robotic copy of Sonic charges at Knuckles too. Mecha Sonic launches himself in the air, and fires a blue blast of energy at Knuckles, and he ends up getting hit, sending him back down to the water.

Mecha Sonic than tries to punch him, but Knuckles dodged the attack and simply kicked Mecha Sonic away, and sends him onto Angel Island. He than standa up, and Knuckles got in front of Mecha, ready to fight, as he snarled at him with wrath in his eyes, that the robot of his former enemy, Robiotbik, has now decided to steal his place as the guardian of the Master Emerald. But than...he turns around to notice that the Master Emerald is very close to where he is positioned in. Suddenly...an idea sparked into his mind, as he than turns to the demonized Mobians that are still alive in this invasion and are with him, before he speaks out a command to them that they started obeying

"Cover for me."

Knuckles said to the demons that are with him, and he than charged at the Master Emerald, and tries to reach for it. Mecha Sonic tried to stop him and attempted to grab Knuckles before he can get out of arms reach, but he is than blocked by the demonic invaders, and Mecha Sonic can only extended his hand out in despair.

"NOOOO!!!!!"

Mecha Sonic roared out, as he is forced to fight against the Demonic Invaders that are blocking his path, while the demonized perversion of Knuckles makes a beeline to the Master Emerald for his Master, Exetior, to use for his demonic army to empower them. But Knuckles was not sneaky, E-123 Omega turns to see and than, he notices Knuckles rushing towards the Master Emerald, and began to go into a fight with him in order to stop it. Thankfully, with his jet pack, he was able to speed up just in time in order to block Knuckles from getting any more closer to the Master Emerald. And as all as they both looked at each other, both Knuckles and E-123 Omega clashed fists with each other, but because he is now a demon, he is much more physically powerful than he was before. He than lifts E-123 Omega, and throws his aside, before he extended his hand out at the Master Emerald to take it to his master, Exetior

Before Knuckles could touch it...

"CHAOS SPEAR!!!"

Suddenly, yellow projectiles came out of nowhere, and struck Knuckles, sending him back, off of the island. Mecha Sonic is surprised, which he cannot make with the face that he has, and looks to see that Shadow the Hedgehog has appeared out of nowhere, and he is not alone. Tangle, Whisper, Jewel, Blaze, Rouge, Cream, and an unknown entity, a Skeleton by the looks of it...they are also with Shadow, and they are ready to fight.

As soon as Knuckles saw them, Rouge immediately attacks and began to fight against the echidna. Knuckles blocks Rouge's skin attack, and began to go into combat with her, while the others began to clear up the demonic invasion that is happening on the Island. Shadow lands next faro E-123 Omega, as his old ally spoke out to Shadow.

"Shadow...it is good to see you again."

E-123 Omega spoke out in his usual, emotionless, robotic tone, as Shadow spoke back to E-123 Omega.

"We can talk about reunions later. Right now, help me out with trying to clean this mess up."

E-123 Omega nodded.

"Affirmative."

He E-123 Omega than turns to the Demonized Mobians, and began to cause as much destruction as he can to them with his weapons. Shadow than began to launch a large number of his Chaos Spears and his Spin Attacks in order to utterly annihilate the demonized Mobians that are invading Angel Island, in an effort to protect the Master Emerald from Exetior's forces.

Blaze used her pyrokinesis in order to make a large sphere of flames, and throw it at them, as the Demonized Mobians got incinerated bu the heat of the flames. Blaze than dodged the strike of another Mobian, before she jumped into the air, and launched a powerful kick at them, her feet covered in flames, as she sliced and cauterized the 2 halves of that demon's neck, as the head fell to the ground. She lands on the ground gracefully, as she than turns to the other demons, and without any warning, she charges at them, her hands covered in flames, as she jumped up into the air, and began to attack them with her fire. As you usually say with people like that, don't play with fire, or else you will get burned.

With Tangle, she is dodging and avoiding the Demonized Mobians with every turn. She than jumped in the air, before she attacked by using her tail. She wrapped the tail around one of the necks of the demonized Mobians, before she pulls it with immense force, and the neck, snapped. With one loud crack, the demon was dead, and Tangle threw it at one of his buddies, before turning to the other one, and is ready to fight them. The demon roared, as his buddy got killed, and charges at Tangle, and she frowned, as she gets ready to attack. But before the demonize mobian could reach Tangle...

VWOOOSHH!!!!

Fire came out of nowhere, and fried the Demonized Mobian to a crisp. Tangle turned to see that Whisper had came out with her Gun, as she aimed at the demonized Mobians that began to attack. She change the color of the gun, and she shocked them badly, as the electricity kill them by stopping their heart. She than spoke out to Tangle.

"Tangle, please, be careful. You do not want to be killed by one and become a demon yourself."

Tangle nodded, and spoke out.

"I know. I'm doing all that I can to make sure it never happens, Whisper."

With Cream and Jewel, they are doing all that they can take avoid getting caught by the demons, and unfortunately, they are forced to hide and use the Master Emerald to use as a shield that makes their presences unknown to the demons that's attacking. But Sans, thankfully...he is the one that is there to protect them against the demons that are trying to attack them. And needless to say, he proves himself to be far more powerful than the demons could ever face. They can't even beat him.

One of the demonized Mobians tried to attack Sans from behind. But Sans simply used his Gravity Manipulation to lift that guy up into the air, and send him flying to the horizon, where he will have to make a very long return trip for 15 days. Another tried to attack him at the front. But they got pierced by a bone, which killed them nearly in 3 seconds, due to the effects of Karma. Another tried to attack, and Sans launched Tridents at that demon, which pierced through them like they are wet paper. Sans smiled, as than, 4 more demons appeared out of nowhere, and Sans has 4 Spears just for then demons. He launched them at the demons, and they both got pierced by the blue spears. The demons than fell down into the water, completely dead, as their blood than began to fill the ocean themselves. Sans smiled, as he than launched a powerful fireball at the Demons, setting them on fire with the purple, which do way more damage than the normal fireballs he creates.

Sans looks...and he sees that...he is going to need to help right now, because of the amount of demons that are in the area. Sans looks behind, and sees Cream and Jewel, and than...an idea pops up.

Using his Gravity Manipulation, he sends the demons back, and spoke out to Cream.

"Yo, kiddo. You okay under there?"

Cream looks ip and nodded her head at where Sans is at.

"Ummm...yeah. I'm okay. Why do you ask, Mr. Sans?"

Sans looks at Cream and smiled.

"Well...let's say that I have something that can help you fight for a little bit. Not hold still."

Sans extended his hand, which glows yellow. Suddenly...a red heart came out of Cream, which turned upside down, before it turned yellow.

Cream was confused at what Sans had done, and she spoke out.

"Mr. Sans. What is this?"

Sans than spoke out.

"something that you can use to finally fight the demons that we're attacking now. Extend to arm, and fire."

Cream did as he was told. And in that instant, the upside down heart began to shoot out yellow bullets, which had than instantly killed the demons in the process. This caught Cream by surprise, as Sans than made a different glow. It was green. But not for the one that he uses to stop his opponents from leaving. No, this is a different one. A demon tried to breath fire onto Jewel, and Jewel crossed her arms together in a defensive position. This manage to activate Sans' other magic, which is happening right now. Cream look up and spoke out.

"Mr. Sans. What is it that you have given us?"

Sans looks at Cream and spoke out.

"The one thing that can give you the ability to fight the demons. It is not much, it ain't pretty to do. But you can still do it. So let's get working."

Sans than turns back to fight against more of the demons, as Cream and Jewel now went out in the open to fight back against the demons that attacked Angel Island.

With Rouge, she is seen kicking Knuckles as fast as she could, just as Knuckles is trying to punch her as much as he could. She leapt off of Knuckle's arm, before trying to kick him on the head. But Knuckles was able to get out of the way and not be hit by the kick that Rouge was about to give him. Needless to say, it irritates the both of them that they still cannot land a single hit on each other. Rouge than looks at Knuckles, as she than spoke out to him, and this time, she is not teasing to him.

"Y'know, Knuckles, before all of this, before you became the person that you are now, I used to have a crush on you. But now...seeing you like this, seeing what you us be become. I am now simply going to crush you until you are finally down for good. And I plan on making sure that this becomes the case."

Knuckles scoffs, as he goes into a stance, and spoke out to her.

"As if you have what it takes to bring me down."

He than charged straight at her, his fist raised in the air, as Rouge got out of the way, and she than looks at Knuckles.

"I don't 'have' what for takes for me to bring you down for the count, Knuckles. I 'got' what it takes for me to make sure you can go down."

She than charges at Knuckles and lands a very solid kick on the stomach, and her high heels not only pierced his stomach, but it also caused Knuckles to cough il and throw up blood, as he than was launched off of his feet by a powerful force of the kick that Rouge had for him. But Knuckles...even as his demonic self, still has one thing that he shares when he was back as his normal self. What he shares...is that he is too stubborn to give up. He is not going to stay down no matter what happens to himself. He than stood up, as Rouge spoke out to him.

"Give it up, Knuckles. You can't win against us all in the state that you are in now."

Knuckles than spoke back to Rouge, as he glared at her.

"If you think that I am going to listen to your words and let you speak to me about giving up, than you need to think again."

He than stood up fully on his feet, as he spoke out to Rouge.

"Because I have never taught myself when to quit. Nor will I ever quit against fighting you, Rouge."

Rouge sighed, as she spoke out with a bitter tone of voice, making it clear that she will not take any pleasure in what she will do to Knuckles.

"Well...I guess that means your funeral, again."

Knuckles spoke out.

"Like it will be."

He than charged at her, and jumps up to try and attack her. But than...suddenly...Knuckles is suspended in the air. He than turns to see Sans, his hand outstretched, and his hand is glowing blue. His left eye is leaking out purple mist, as he uses his Gravity Manipulation to hold him in place, as Knuckles snarled out.

"Let me go, you fool!!"

Sans smirked, as he spoke out.

"You want me to let you go?"

He than began to move his arms, as he prepares to throw him.

"As you wish."

It doesn't take Knuckles long to realize what Sans is about to do next. As soon as he began to swing his arms in a throwing motion, Knuckles was than launched out into the air, as he is sent very far away from Angel Island, his former home, and is kicked out of it once again, due to a certain skeleton that he had to face with his friend Tails, who is still traumatized by what it was that Sans had done to bim.

Rouge simply closed her eyes in sadness, as Knuckles disappeared into the horizon, the misty clouds blocking the view of what had become of him now. Than, a hand touches her shoulder, and she sees Sans is the one touching her in a comforting tone, at the expression that Rouge is making right now. He than spoke out to the bat mobian in a comforting tone of voice.

"Come on, Rouge. Let's meet up with the others, okay?"

Rouge looked down for a bit, and than she nodded her head. Sans than grabbed her by the hand, and began to walk with her back to where the others are at, in hopes of preparing to get the Master Emerald out of here.
