I heard my father bang on the door. I shake slightly from the place on the floor I was laying on. Then a thought went through my brain. He never hurt me like this before. I don't know why he is doing this now. I know if I ask him I can make him mad. I unlock my door and take a deep breath. I open the door and look at my father. "Yes?" I asked him. He looked furious. "YOU LITTLE BITCH" he slaps me, hard. After 12 years of getting mentally and Physically abused it starts to get to you, I don't know why he slapped me. But I always don't. But I will in a few seconds know why I did. "You got another F in school!!!" He growls, he push me to the floor. I yelp in pain and hold my side. He spits on me "pathetic" he said before leaving me. I heard him slam his door shut causing the house to shake a bit. I touch my rib and feel the bone poking out of my skin, I bite my lip to keep the screams from coming. I know if I screamed he would probably come back and hurt me. That's when I decided. These past 12 years of abuse is coming to an end. I thought to myself as I weakly go and get my bag. I empty it out of my school supplies. I weakly grabbed clothing and putting it in the bag. I limp into the living room and steal my fathers wallet. All his money and credit cards. I knew the passcode thankfully. I take it and stuff it in my pocket. I start to leave. 'Freedom at last' I thought. But I was only wrong. I got about 50 feet from the house when I looked back to see my father swing the door open with his shotgun. I know this would not end well. I gulp, a sweat drop runs down my face As I try to run as fast as I could. Only limping and whimpering in pain. My father lifted the shotgun and pointed it at me. He smirked "bye bye (Y/N)" he said. He pulled the trigger. BAM. I soon fall on my knees. Screaming in pain. He shot me in my stomach. I started to lose blood and quick. The last thing I heard where sirens and someone picking me up bridal style before I blacked out.
