Underestimated~ Fly Away [Fantasy] #AUGfantasy

Alice can't take it anymore. She's sick and tired of being pushed down, called out, and laughed at. Tired of being called the Mad Hatter every time she laughs. Tired of being called out for being 'too happy'. She's sick of it.

Hatred is the word.

She hates them all. Ever single person who's called her out, insulted her, or pushed her down. Every single person who's shredded her drawings, her poems, her stories. Every single person who's judged get because of her looks, her hobbies, her music taste.

Which is nearly everyone she knows.

Alice doesn't want to have to listen to them anymore. She doesn't want to hear their voices speaking to her. Taunting her with their lies, their sickening words. Trying to anger get enough for her to yell back at them.

She did merely once.

Just the first time she dared to yell for a stop. Yell for them to stop screaming those unkind things, calling her a freak, asking if she wanted some tea for her 'unbirthday party'. They were shocked then laughed. They laughed off her standing her ground and returned to teasing her.

Then she gave up.

She dropped trying, giving up on pushing them to stop. They never had, and they wouldn't change that for anything. It had been six agonizing months since they first called her out, and twenty painful weeks since they first tore a masterpiece.

They should be torn.

Ripped her watercolor painting from art class to shreds. The beautiful ocean the teacher had complimented, torn and tossed to the floor of the lunchroom. None of them apologized. None of them cares. They all just laughed at her pained face.

She pretends it doesn't hurt.

No matter what they don't stop. Even if she pretends it isn't affecting her. What everyone tells you to do is fake like you don't care. She's tried that. Too many times. Yet time and time again they just make the taunted worse in hopes of breaking the fake wall she's built around her.

A very thin wall.

Too thin of a wall. It cracks at a touch. The first worsened insult shatters it to bits like a baseball through a window, and yet they keep going. They're never satisfied enough.

They won't stop until they've killed.

She believes throb my way to end their taunts is to end her life. Take a knife to throat and press down with a slice. To spill her own blood, to drain her own rug. They're like serial killers. They won't be satisfied until her blood is shed.

She'll satisfy their twisted dreams.

She took her knife and tricked them. Made them think she was upset in the lunchroom. She'd stain the clothes they wore. Place the blame on them. She'd make them laugh and grin a twisted one. That's all they wished for, was her blood on the floor.

It's time for her to die.

With a knife in hand she's ready for their arrival. When they come, she stands beside them, slitting her own throat. With one swift motion the knife is in their hands, her blood is on their clothes.

The corpse is on the ground.

Shock, fear, sadness, pain. To list just a few. That's all they felt. With the blame placed on them, she's finally free again.

Up to heaven where the nice go.

Where she's dreamed to fly. Free of them, they'll never go. For they were never kind. Little did she know was that she'd return. Be posted back down to earth, with feathered wings and glistening eyes.

They weren't expecting her.

For she swooped down right by the cri scene she was killed. Everyone shocked to see her face, for the dead one right beside. For they shouldn't have underestimated the angel in disguise. With one swift motion, they were gone, and so was se again.

Back to hell where I belong.

The wings forever gone. Faded into dust, the dragon wings sprouting. With pain and agony the wings are on her back. With horns on her head, and a glowing bloodshot eye.

For now it's time to kill.

The beastly dragons that reside, will be forever hers. For as much as she tries, she can't deny that she's a demon at heart. A filthy sinner, forevermore. That's all she wants to be.

Never ever again.

For all eternity, will she soar the sky. For all eternity, will she reside. Over and out, that's what she always said. Under the flames, engulfed in pain.

Fly, fly away.
