After taking pictures together in one big group, most of the cast members left. Kasey talked with Lin, Vanessa, Sebastian, and Alaina for a while, but then they had to leave, too. That left just Carleigh, since Patricia had to head home.

"Well, I promised Lily, Emma, Rebecca, and Maura that we'd go for ice cream after the show," Kasey told Carleigh.

"That's adorable," Carleigh laughed. "I'll see you back at the loft, then. Have fun!"

Kasey met up with Jess and Sebastian. The four younger girls are bouncing up and down excitedly. 

"Alright, let's go," Kasey laughed. They stepped outside. Thankfully, there wasn't anyone at the stage door. That didn't really start until Broadway. Most people who went to previews weren't regular audience members, they were more along the lines of Broadway veterans and critics.

After walking for a couple minutes, they ducked inside the nearest ice cream shop. The girls went to look at the menu with Jess, while Kasey and Sebastian saved them a table. 

"What are you going to get?" Sebastian asked Kasey.

"I don't know," Kasey said. "I'm not an ice cream fanatic like Carleigh is."

"WHAT?!" Sebastian exclaimed. "Kasey Winslow is not an ice cream person?"

"Not a huge fan. I'll eat it sometimes, but Carleigh eats it practically every night after shows," Kasey laughed. Maura walked over.

"Jess wants to know what to order you guys."

"I'll have mint chocolate chip," Sebastian said immediately. "Just one scoop, in a cone."

"I'll have birthday cake," Kasey said after Sebastian gave her a death glare. 

"Alright," Maura said. 

"Good. I will turn you to the dark side," Sebastian told her evilly. Kasey rolled her eyes.

"Whatever, Hans," she joked.

After eating the ice cream, the girls and Sebastian decide to post on Kasey's Instagram. Rebecca had the idea to caption it:

They had about a week of more previews and more rehearsal to get everything down. Even though the audience hadn't noticed anything wrong, there had been some mistakes. The soap snow had gone down too early, so the stage was slippery for a dance number, but it had been okay. 

Kasey fell into a pattern- wake up, get dressed, walk down to the Astor Place theatre, change costume if she had to, rehearse for a couple of hours, go back home for a few hours, and then come back and do another preview. 

She would occasionally spot someone she knew from the audience- Laura Osnes, Oak, Daveed, the Crawford sisters, Jeremy Jordan, Corey Cott. It was strange to be the person that the famous Broadway actors and actresses were watching.

Not that famous people hadn't gone to Hamilton, but Kasey had just been an ensemble member then. She'd never realized just how many people were staring at her. And now that she was singing most of the solos and onstage most of the time, she realized just how many people were watching. 

Then, one day at rehearsal, she found Emma brandishing a camera in her face. 

"This is KASEY WINSLOW, she's the most amazing, beautiful, talented actress ever!" Emma squealed.

"Who is this?" Kasey laughed.

"It's Broadway.com! They gave me a vlog!" Emma squealed. 

"Hey, Broadway.com!" Kasey said, waving at the camera. "You do realize that your song is starting in thirty seconds, right?"

"Crap!" Emma exclaimed. She shoved the camera into Kasey's hands. "Here, you can use it while I'm onstage. Give it to Sebastian when you go on."

"Alright," Kasey laughed. Emma happily bounced onstage.

Kasey pointed the camera at Emma as she started to sing. "So, this is our theatre, and backstage, obviously, in case Emma didn't explain. She's the littlest, Lily's onstage with her. Then Rebecca and Maura, who are the teenage versions of Anna and Elsa are going to go on. And then Jess Clarke and I will go on after them. That's basically 'Do You Wanna Build a Snowman' in a nutshell."

"What's that camera you're holding, Kasey?" Sebastian asked.

"It's Emma's Broadway vlog," Kasey said. "I'm holding the camera while she sings. You can take it, though, because I have to go on in about a minute. This is Sebastian, who's Hans. He's an awful person, never listen to him."

"No, Kasey is, because she isn't in love with ice cream," Sebastian retorted. 

"Whatever, Sebastian," Kasey said, rolling her eyes. "I have to go, you have fun with that camera!"

"I will!" Sebastian said, sticking his tongue out at her.

Kasey rolled her eyes and stepped onstage just as Emma appeared backstage, holding out her hand once more for the camera.
