Order
After Sapnap took off with Dream, George went to Bird. The animal squawked in fright as George slowly approached.
"Hey, Bird." George placed a steady hand on the Iguana Parrot. "We're going after Dream." George moved the bird's back and tried to climb up, but failed when he fell on his butt.
"Need some help?" George turned around to see Finn.
"Chief, I-"
"Save it, George." The chief placed his hands down for George to use as a step, "You have an Avatar to save."
Once George was able to hold the reins, he smiled and took off with Bird. I'm coming, Dream.
_____
Dream sat silently in the prison room. His arms were held in metal cuffs, above his head; his feet glued to the metal floor. The door creaked open, and Dream lifted his head up to the bounty hunter. The firebender circled around the Avatar a bit before speaking.
"So you're the Avatar." He asked, "I've spent half my life looking for you, and you're finally here." He grinned and neared Dream, "How does it feel to be captive at a firebender's hands?"
"I don't know; how does it feel to be captive with me?"
The bounty hunter rolled his eyes, "Don't flatter yourself. In case you didn't notice, these are metal chains. It's going to be hard to break out." The bounty hunter turned to the door, "We'll arrive at the Fire Nation in a few weeks. I suggest you hold your breath."
Once Dream knew he was alone, he heated his hands up allowing the metal to soften and him to slip out. He then teared at the metal on his feet. He snuck around the ship until he found the hull of the ship. He stared at the cold waters thinking about the possibilities of jumping.
I'm an idiot, Dream cringed, Hypothermia is still a thing. He looked up to see a familiar green bird. He grinned, Thank spirits for Bird. His eyes caught a different blue-purple pattern, and he sighed. Bird and George landed safely on the boat.
George chuckled at Dream, "So do you want to get out of here?"
Dream grabbed George's hand and pulled himself up, "Oh, you bet on it!"
Bird began to flap his wings and float upwards.
George saw Sapnap run onto the deck, "Ha! Suck on it, Sapnap!"
Dream laughed and gripped at George's torso, "That's his name?"
_____
The two flew over the (seemingly) endless ocean. Dream directed George and Bird to a small island far away from the village and Sapnap. Bird settled down, and Dream hopped off. He turned back to help George down.
Dream smiled as he placed his hands around George's hips to pull him off Bird, "Thanks for the rescue, but I don't think you should've come with me."
"Are you kidding me? I've already saved you and fought a firebender; I'm in this for the long haul!" George laughed at his joke and sat down by the river.
Dream was quick to follow. "We need to start building a camp."
George nodded, "I'll collect some wood and food."
"I'll make a shelter." The two agreed with the activities and began their separate tasks. George walked into the woods to find firewood, and Bird squawked. "Yeah, I know, Bird." Dream looked behind, "I like him too."
The camp was ready; Bird was fast asleep, and Dream and George discussed the elements.
"Why didn't you tell me you were the Avatar?" George asked.
Dream sighed, "I don't like talking about it- being the Avatar. Sure, it's cool, and, don't get me wrong, the respect I get is incredible."
"But?"
"But at the time, I didn't want your village to know because I have to find an airbending master. I couldn't let you all get in the way."
George frowned, "What do you mean by 'get in the way?'"
Dream turned to the waterbender with wide eyes, "No, no! I didn't mean like that! I mean, I didn't want what happened today to happen. Sorry about that."
"I forgive you." George smiled. "We gotta get you an airbending master, right?"
"Yeah."
"What about firebending?"
"Well, during the early stages of the war, a few Fire Nation traitors were allowed to teach me, but I only got through the basics."
George counted on his fingers, "So you mastered earthbending and firebending basics. You just need air and water."
"Correct."
"Well," George thought, "Why don't we visit the Northern Water Tribe? That'll be the quickest solution."
Dream smirked, "And what about airbending, o' wise guy?"
"Could you just summon a breeze for now- just to keep the pattern in check?"
"I can try."
Dream stood up. He moved his arms in a light manner; one he remembered from old textbooks his teachers gave him. However, he couldn't generate any wind. Dream grit his teeth.
George stood and placed a hand on his shoulder, "You can keep practicing on the way; get some rest." Dream agreed, and the two went into a slumber.
