Rin followed the team towards the guild hall, and she watched as Natsu kicked open the doors.

"We're back!" He exclaimed loudly.

"Welcome back guys!" A soft voiced girl with silver hair said.

"And, we brought a new member with us." Erza said, pushing Rin in front of everyone.

Rin looked around and saw everyone's eyes on her, she blushed a bit and turned herself invisible.

"Hey! Don't hide! Be a man!" A loud voiced man said, he also had white hair.

Rin backed away and hid behind Lucy, grabbing into her shirt, turning visible again. "Sorry." She said, her voice muffled a bit by Lucy's shirt.

"Don't be sorry." Erza said, placing a hand on Rin's shoulder. "That's just Elfman, he may look big and scary, but I doubt he would intentionally injure you."

Rin looked up at her, then glanced towards Elfman and saw Natsu throwing fireballs at him. And she then noticed that all the eyes were still on her. She took a shaky breath and calmed down a bit. She stepped out from behind Lucy and looked at the Guild, "My name is Rin Lightshade, pleasure." She said softly, making sure everyone would be able to hear her.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Rin, I'm Mira Jane, but please, just call me Mira." The sweet girl said. "You'll have to excuse Elfman."

Rin nodded and then she saw a short old man walk up to the team, and stopped in front of her. "I'm the master of this guild, Master Mockrov." He said, he smiled a toothy grin, "It would be my pleasure to accept you into this guild!"

Rin looked at him, then she smiled, "I'm glad." She said quietly.

Mira held up a stamp, "Where would you like your symbol?"

Rin pointed towards her left collar bone, and Mira stamped the stamp on it, a white guild mark appearing on it. She placed her hand over it and smiled, "Thanks." She said.

"No problem, I suggest you go around and get to know people." Mira said.

Rin watched as she walked away, and she was left standing in the front of the guild hall she walked towards Lucy and Erza, since she already knew the two.

"Hey guys." She said.

They turned around and looked at her, smiling.

"Welcome to the guild." Erza said.

Rin smiled softly, "Thanks." She sat down next to Lucy.

Lucy looked at her, "No offense, you're going to get a major makeover tonight." She said. "That reminds me, why don't you come over tonight, you two Erza, we could have a little slumber party!"

"Can we come?" Natsu asked, popping up out of seemingly nowhere.

Lucy looked at him, glaring, "No! Girls only Natsu!"

"Please?" Natsu begged.

"You heard her Natsu." Erza said, calmly eating some cake.

Natsu walked away, gloomy.

Rin looked up at Lucy, "Sure. I really appreciate it." She said.

"Great!" Lucy said.

Rin's stomach growled, and she blushed a bit.

"Hungry?" Lucy asked.

Rin nodded, looking up at her.

"Then let's go get food!" She exclaimed, standing up and grabbing onto Rin's hand.

"I'll come too." Erza said, calmly standing up and followed the two out of the guild.

Soon, they arrived at a restaurant, and they sat at a table. Rin looked around, she had really only seen restaurants from the outside, and if she ever went inside, she was always focused on staying invisible and taking food from tables. The restaurant was brightly lit, with white walls and a bar at the back of the place, there was some light decor, enough to give the area some variety, but not enough to make it look crowded.

A waiter walked up to them, "Hello, how may I serve you?" He asked.

They all ordered, and the waiter walked away, but not before giving a second glance towards Rin before leaving.

"I probably stick out like a cat in a doghouse." Rin said to herself, forcing herself not to turn invisible.

Soon after a while of waiting, the food had arrived, and Rin looked down at it with wide eyes. It was the largest sandwich she had seen, and not to mention it was all hers, and she didn't have to hide while eating it.

"Eat up, you look like you need to food." Lucy said, taking a bite of her salad.

"Right." Rin said, she picked up the sandwich and took a bite, realizing how hungry she was, she swiftly ate the rest of it, placing a hand on her stomach happily, "Thanks for the meal." She said.

"It was nothing." Lucy said, "You think you have room for desert?"

Rin looked up at her and nodded, smiling.

"Okay!" Soon, there was strawberry cake slice in front of everyone.

"Enjoy everyone!" Erza said, digging into her slice of cake.

Rin grabbed her fork and started to eat, her eyes sparkling as she tasted it. She quickly finished it.

Lucy looked at her, "How long has it been since you've had a meal?"

"I can't remember." Rin said, looking down at the table. "It was hard getting food in that village, at first, it was easy, but after a few years, people learned not to leave their food unattended." She said. "I mostly got scraps of food for the past couple of years."

Lucy looked at her, at first her face showed pity, but then she smiled a small bit, "I promise you won't have to live like that again." She said. She stood up and paid the bill, soon everyone was heading towards Lucy's.

"Thanks again for letting me stay at your place."  Rin said, smiling.

"No problem, after tonight, you'll be like a whole new person!" Lucy exclaimed.

Rin smiled and followed her towards and apartment building, the sun setting on the distant horizon.
