Really short filler chapter- sorry-

Virgil smiled as they put a new card in the headband, winning the game for the most part. Janus groaned.

"What am I!?" He grumbled, as he was still on his first card.

'Gay' Logan said simply, looking at his clues that he wrote down. Patton giggled and Virgil laughed loudly.

'"I know that much!'" Janus groaned. Virgil smiled softly, looked around the table, they were happy, they all were.

Virgil waved bye to her mother as she walked to the bus stop. She stood there for awhile, getting a notification on her phone.

Patt- Hey vergie! Did you hear were getting two new students?

Virgil- no? Why does it matter though?

Patt- I'm touring them around the school when they get here! I think they're getting here like, a few days from now? Maybe tomorrow... at some point!

Virgil-oh okay, thanks for letting me know :)

Patt-mhm! Baiii, see you soon

Virgil- see you soon lovely

Virgil smiled softly at the pet name the group had basically assigned Patton, getting on the bus quickly as it rolled to a stop.

'Hey guys' Virgil greeted, sitting down in math with Patton and Janus, she was a little bummed out, as Logan didn't share any classes with the three, but understood nonetheless. She gently tapped Patton, getting his attention. Patton looked back, smiling.

"Virgil!" He grinned. Janus nodded simply, running a hand through his hair.

'What do you think Mr. Berm is having us do today?' Virgil asked.

"Hmm, probably more of the usual, or maybe just a work class seeming as we have a test tomorrow" Patton suggested.

"I don't agree" Janus said, pausing slightly. "Wait- no" he sighed, looking back to his homework he had yet to complete.

"You okay Jan?" Patton asked. Janus shrugged.

"I get this by all means- fuck-" Janus slammed his head down in the table, and Virgil and Patton quickly asked if he was okay. He nodded.

"My lying is getting better" Janus said simply. Virgil nodded, knowing what the male meant. Patton rubbed his back gently.

"Okay folks! Let's get some work done! Since we have a test tomorrow, I'll just give you guys a worksheet or two to help you prepare for the test" Mr. Berm announced loudly. Janus sighed. "But first! I'll need your homework from yesterday's class" he said. Virgil quickly pulled hers out, grabbing Janus' and swapping the names as she had already finished hers. Janus looked at her in confusion. She shrugged, handing both papers to Patton who then went and turned them in for the small table group, grabbing the worksheets for the three aswell. Virgil nodded in thanks, and moved her seat in between Janus and Patton to help the two if they needed it. She paid little attention to class, but still got high marks, so the two trusted her.

'Schools so dumb' Virgil complained.

'And why is that exactly?' Logan asked, the group of now four sat at lunch, all ready finished eating and now just talking.

'Because I said so' she grumbled. Patton giggled and Janus snorted.

"'Great reason'" Janus said with a smile, since sarcasm was basically a way of speaking in lies, he normally wouldn't mess it up. Patton nodded in agreement.

"I wonder what the two new people are like! Are they siblings? Or complete strangers?" Patton wondered aloud.

'I'll most likely never meet them, so I don't particularly think it's very important' Logan explained, 'I also doubt any of us will have a class with them' Virgil nodded in agreement.

'Maybe not, but we might. How was class tho Logan?' Virgil questioned.

'Fine, quite boring without three certain soulmates of mine however' Logan stopped for a second. 'Now that I think about it, I do believe Thomas mentioned getting someone else in the class, I mean, he said they still have to take the entry test as Thomas is one of the only people who can help with certain students, but- never mind, I'm rambling' Logan rubbed his eyes, looking at his watch.

"'That's okay Lo'" Patton said softly. "'We'll find out eventually"' Virgil nodded, and Janus did aswell.

I wonder who the new kids are? Virgil thought to herself.
