Janus basicaly stops Virgil from murder
Janus hummed softly when Virgil tapped him.
'Where did this ink come from!?' Virgil quickly signed, gesturing to the ink covering all their arms and hands. Janus' eyes narrowed.
"Maybe it's one of the soulmarks from one of our other soulmates?" Patton suggested. Virgil nodded softly.
"That's what I was thinking, but still, isn't it kinda weird that we all have it?" Janus suggested, freezing in movement when Logan adjusted himself to be leaning against Patton a little more. It was a little awkward, as Logan was quite tall compared to Patton. Logan had tear tracks down his face, and the threes hearts broke at the fact that someone had hurt their soulmate so much. They all paused for a little, not saying much.
'Does anyone ever get that tug? Like the feeling we're meant to go somewhere else to be whole?' Virgil asked. Patton nodded softly.
"I didn't know what it was" Patton mumbled. "I still don't to be honest" Janus nodded.
"I'm pretty sure it's fate trying to tell us how to find our other soulmates" Janus added. Virgil hummed in agreement.
'We need to find them...' Virgil said softly. The other two agreed.
"What happens when Logan's parents get home?" Patton asked, realizing that last time he had talked with Logan's mom, Logan flipped out.
'We either hide, which could look suspicious, or we could just say that Logan needed us because some stuff happened' Virgil said with a nod from Janus. Logan started to move, looking around softly. He found that the three were still there and smiled softly.
'I'm sorry about that' Logan said, getting off Patton, his near emotionless facade showing once more. 'I apologize that you had to deal with that' Logan said softly, rubbing his eyes. Patton frowned, as did Virgil and Janus.
'We're always going to help you Lo, your our soulmate, we love you' Patton signed softly. Janus nodded.
'Who were you talking about?' Virgil asked quickly. Logan froze slightly, taking a deep breath quickly.
"Virgil!" Janus scolded. Virgil looked at him with a glare.
'I want to know so I can kick that bitches ass and put her six feet down' Virgil said aggressively. Patton flinched, shock filling his face. Patton however went back to calming Logan.
'Her name is Lux' Logan signed shaking greatly. 'We had dated for two years' Logan paused. 'She's why I'm deaf' he said softly. Virgil sucked a breath in, clenching his fists. Janus nodded softly.
'What did she do? Why did you fall into a panic attack?' Janus asked.
'PTSD episode' Logan corrected. 'She used a bat-' Logan closed his eyes taking a deep breath, Janus rubbed his back softly. 'She used a bat,' Logan started again, leaning into Janus. It once again being a tad awkward. 'It was raining, and I told her I was gay' he said slowly, his hands stuttering over the word gay. 'I though I could tell her. But she wasn't happy about it' Logan said lightly. 'She broke up with me, and' Logan closed his eyes tighter, the images of that day flashing on the back of his eyelids. He took deep breaths, knowing that three of the most wonderful soulmates were with him, that he was safe in his room with them. 'She used to play softball, and I told her after one of her games. It was cut short because of the rain. I remember giving her my coat, then I told her. She had froze, and looked at me. I don't remember after that, all I know was she lifted her bat and I was on the ground and couldn't hear when the ambulance got there,' Logan took one more deep breath. 'It has turned out I had a very bad concussion, and my ears were damaged. They thought they could fix my ears, but would have to wait for my concussion to heal. They were surprised I was even alive still. I'm surprised even now. After the concussion healed,' Logan explained, much calmer as he could pretend that it wasn't him, or he had just fallen or something, and that it wasn't her that caused it. 'They found out the damage to my ears was too extensive to be fixed without using a massive surgery that didn't have a huge rate of success at the time' Logan sighed. 'So my parents decided I would be fine being deaf, they didn't want to waste more money then they already had. So they took me out of the private school I went to, enrolled me in the public high school, and gave me a teacher to help learn sign and to teach me all my subjects all by myself, all day.' Logan finished. Patton hugged Logan quickly, tears in his eyes. Virgil was frozen, looking at his hands. Janus just put his head on Logan's shoulder, taking deep breaths. Nobody said anything for awhile, they all just sat, mortified at what Logan had went through.
'You didn't say what triggered your episode' Virgil said simply. It was obvious to Janus that Virgil still wanted to kill this Lux chick.
'I saw kids playing baseball, and they had a bat, then' Logan slowled his breathing. 'I thought Lux was back in town, she moved away though, and I have a restraining order against her. It couldn't be possible that she's back. I thought I had seen her though.' Logan said slowly.
'What does she look like?' Virgil asked. Janus looked at the other with a glare, telling them to stop. Logan sighed softly, almost in shame.
'I still have a picture of us, it's in the bottom drawer of my desk.' Logan said with his head down. Janus rubbed his back again, calming him.
'It's alright Lo' Patton said. Virgil quickly opened the bottom drawer, finding a picture of a younger Logan who was smiling brightly, with Lux standing next to him wrapping him in a hug.
'I still remember that day' Logan sighed with a smile. 'It was the day I had asked her out, we used to be so happy' Logan smiled softly at the memories before remembering what she did. He frowned again.
'I'm going to kill her' Virgil said angrily.
"Virgil!" Janus yelled. "You can just kill someone!"
"Thanks for agreeing there Janus" Virgil said with a glare. Logan quickly got up, not particularly knowing what was happening. Logan went over to Virgil and hugged him tightly.
"You know what I didn't mean! Use my lying against me!" Janus yelled angrily.
"Shut up Janus" Virgil flared. Patton looked at the three others. Janus looked away with a frown.
"D-Don't hurt her" Logan mumbled. Virgil sighed, relaxing into Logan's arms reluctantly.
"Sorry Janus" Virgil mumbled. Janus nodded.
'It's alright' he signed. Patton hugged him tightly, pecking him on the cheek. Janus blushed, hiding his face. Virgil hugging Logan back gently, hiding his face. Virgil backed up slightly.
'I'm sorry Logan' Virgil sighed. 'I shouldn't have said that all, or gotten mad' Virgil said guiltily.
'It's okay' Logan said with a soft smile, hugging Virgil once more. Janus sniffled lightly, knowing Virgil was sorry, but he was still hurt, it was a known thing to not use Janus' lying against him in the small group, however that boundary had been passed because of Virgil being upset. Janus knew he should've just sucked it up and said it was fine, but it was hard for him. He rubbed his eyes, sighing lightly.
"Anyways" Janus spoke very slowly, he didn't want to lie again. "Maybe we should go do something, that way we are stuck" Janus paused. "Aren't, stuck here being all sad or whatever" Janus said, picking talking speed up.
"I agree! Do you guys wanna do a game night? I have lots of board games, and if someone has video games we could do that instead if you guys wanted!" Patton said with a giggle, hopping off the bed and bouncing around Logan's room, explaining the idea. Virgil nodded softly, pulling away from Logan, giving him a peck in the cheek. Logan smiled, agreeing with Patton. Virgil gave Patton a peck on the cheek aswell, Patton giggling.
"'Why is it that Janus and I get flustered and you two are just completely normal people'" Virgil whined. Janus huffed, getting up and pecking Virgil as he didn't get a little kiss. The group laughed at the shortest one of the group acting like an angry puppy. Janus rolled his eyes with a fond smile.
"'I have a switch with Super smash bro's and Mario cart, along with a few other multiplayer games, we could go to Pattons if you all wanted"' Janus explained. The others nodded with smiles. Maybe they didn't know where the others were, and maybe they were a little messed up, but they didn't care.
As long as they had each other.
