~~~Your POV~~~

"...Magic at the ready!" The queen said, I could hear the magic forming above me. Tears streamed down my face slightly. 'Why did I trust Nightmare to eat that apple? Why did I trust him to go down that hole? Why did I trust him at all?' I thought to myself as a sob wracked my body. What was probably only seconds felt like days, months, years, DECADES. I could feel my hands shaking slightly within the restraints as the seconds ticked by. All was silent.

BOOOOMMM!!

"Another skeleton!?" The queen yells in distraught. 'Another skeleton?' I think.

"That's right, now, release these two or else!" 'Dream!' The queen laughs.

"And what are you, one skeleton, going to do if I don't?" She asks. Dream chuckles.

"Oh, just this." He says and the sound of fingers snapping cause the ground to shake.

"W-What!?" The queen yells.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAH!" A new voice laughs. "Well my queen, while you were busy with this execution, you forgot to station more guards at your other precious Souls."

"NO!" She shrieks.

"YES! And now, I will get to do what I wanted to do for many years!" It rang and soon more laser like sounds and the sound of metal on metal sounded out throughout the cave.

"Dream!" Nightmare said beside me and stood up.

"Not now, hurry, we have to get out of here!" He said undoing the restraints on me.

"W-What do you mean?" I asked getting up.

"No time, she's about to destroy this place!" Dream said taking off to the exit. Nightmare grabbed my hand and started running after Dream.

"I SAID KILL IT YOU FOOLS!" I heard the queen yell. I turned my head and saw something like that of a god.

It was Temmie only with four rainbow like wings sprouting out of her back, little faces covered the bottom of the top wings, white wisps covered the bottom wings, little orbs floated at the tips of the wings, the top having dog like faces, and the bottom ones having an X on them. Lastly a halo, with a small crown in the middle, floated atop Temmies head. She looked over to me and winked before firing bright beams of rainbows at the queens flames.

Black.

I turned back to see we had ran back into the hallway, Dream up front, and Nightmare pulling me along with him. Dream kept a little scepter on him and both Dream and Nightmare's eyes were blazing their respective colors. Neon blue and bright yellow.

"I think I heard them over here!" A voice said in the distance causing the three of us to stop in our tracks.

"Be ready to fight." Dream said. Nightmare nodded and summoned two bones.

"Here." He said handing one to me, I took it and readied myself for a fight.

The clanging of footsteps approached us and soon a guard appeared. "Over here! The prisoners have escaped!" He yells pointing at us. I stare at him as he starts charging at us, his weapon above his head 'Can't these guards fight less obviously?' I think to myself. Dream goes first as he blocks the attack easily, he pushes the guard back and summons bones below him, causing the monster to fall on them. "RRAAAUUUuuugghhh.." He yells slightly, but it dies out as he then turns to dust.

My eyes widen, but are caught as the sound of metal hitting bone catches my attention. Looking up I see two more guards, each too busy being occupied by Dream and Nightmare. Glancing at Dream he seems fine, but Nightmare is a different story. He is struggling to hold the bulky guard back. My eyes narrow and without thinking I ran up to the monster.

This catches him off guard as my bone hits him upside the head, he falls back, but it's enough for Nightmare to stab him. "Let's go!" Dream said, standing over a pile of monster. We nodded and started running back.

A few hallways and monster fights later we soon reach the three way hallway. "Finally, quickly now." Dream said heading straight into the throne room. Halfway through the room a blast goes through the front of the room, destroying a wall, and causing dust to surround the room.

"AH!" I screamed as I tripped over my own foot, clumsily.

"Y/N!" Nightmare said within the smoke. Soon a pair of hands helped me up, I turned slightly and was faced with Temmie.

"Come on!" She yelled and started flying through the smoke, me trailing behind her. "In here!" She yelled, stopping at a doorway. I bolted inside. Inside the smoke was clear, Nightmare and Dream were already there, Dream seeming to be holding Nightmare back.

"Y/N!" He yelled, now being released from Dream, and ran towards me, soon engulfing me in a hug. I chuckled softly.

"Sorry, I tripped." I said with a small smile.

"It's ok, let's go! I need to break the barrier!" Temmie said and flew off down the rest of the hall. Nightmare let me go in favor of holding my hand and pulled me down to follow Temmie.

Reaching the end we were met with a bright room, Temmie stood in front of the light, the six souls surrounding her. She turned around, hearing us, then turned back to the barrier. "Stand back, I am going to break the barrier, but afterwards I am going to refix it. This will cause the Souls to go free, and the monsters to still be trapped, but it's best if they stay trapped." Temmie said, seeming to power up an attack.

"But! What about you Temmie?" I asked. She glanced over to me, her eyes giving a soft glow, and smiled.

"It was nice knowing you Y/N, but my role is to stay down here, even as the traitorous prince of monsters, it is my duty to watch them. Even if they do beat me, or eventually kill me." She said then looked back at the now cracking barrier. "This is goodbye, so... Goodbye Y/N, you were the best friend anyone can have." She said and the glow in her eyes started to glow brighter and brighter, until I couldn't stand to see it anymore. I shielded my eyes in order to block it.

Once I was sure the light was gone I slowly released my arm and looked forward. My eyes widened at the new bright light.

In front of us was the sun. I looked around and noticed we were atop a cliffside, Nightmare and Dream next to me. The two were looking around both in awe. 'Temmie!' I thought and turned back to...

The mountains wall. "What?" I mumbled and walked over to it. Testing it I put a hand on it and sure enough it was a real wall.

"It seems Temmie wasn't lying when she said she was going to close it." Dream said coming up beside me. I sighed sadly.

"I bet she will be fine on her own." Nightmare said on the other side of me. I smiled sadly and nodded.

"Yeah, I bet your right." I mumbled slightly. After a moment of silence Nightmare cleared his throat(?).

"H-Hey... Y/N?" He said whispering. I glanced over at him. By now Dream had left.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I... I wanted to say I was sorry for.." He paused.

"For?" I said, indicating for him to continue.

"..For making you go down that hole... For making you eat that apple... For everything." He said, his voice lowering at the end. I gave him a small smile.

"It's ok, I forgive you. Forgive and forget right?" I asked with a shrug and turned back to the now setting sun. Nightmare chuckled behind me.

"Y-Yeah, forgive and forget." He said standing beside me. After a few seconds of silence he spoke up once more. "Uhm... That's not all I wanted to say..." He said. I looked back to him. He just stared at the sun for a bit.

"what is it?" I asked, tilting my head slightly.

"I... I, uh..." He said, stammering, then coughed a bit. "I lov...." He mumbled. I smiled and chuckled slightly. He looked over to me, eyes wide. "What?"

"I love you too Nightmare." I said and kissed his teeth. He tensed slightly but reciprocated, somehow. After a while we parted and stared at each other, that's when I noticed something.

Looking down, I noticed a heart shaped object... My Soul. It was glowing brightly. I looked up to Nightmare to see his eyes were glowing just as brightly. I took a step back as the glow soon got brighter and brighter. Soon he started to get as bright as when Temmie did. 'Seriously whats with the light shows today?' I think as I covered my eyes with my arm again.

"I-I'm back to normal." Nightmare said. I uncovered my eyes and what I saw made my eyes widen.

In front of me was a normal looking skeleton. He wore a black jacket with yellow lining, his boots matched them, and wore black pants along with it. Atop his head was a gold crown with a crescent shaped moon on the center. His eyes were no longer a neon blue, instead they were a pair of purple pinpricks within his eyesockets. Said pinpricks looked up to me, stealing my gaze and locking it.

"Y-Y/N?" He asked once more. Soon a giant smile covered his face and he ran up to me with a tight hug. "Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!" He said, still chanting the words over and over again. I chuckled slightly and patted his head.

"Your welcome Nightmare." I smiled, and soon a pair of teeth met with my lips in another kiss.

Hey guys, first off I'm sorry I didn't update yesterday I kind of got into a nostalgia bubble watching Foster's home for imaginary friends. (Who remembers that! Comment if you do ;3) Anyways you guys got the true ending YAY!! and I might be a little late on The Villian Ending tomorrow because my mother and I are watching a Foster dog for the week and we need to get ready for him.
