~(The next day)~

I didn't answer him yesterday, I don't know why but it made me wake up earlier this morning, about 3 hours to be exact, as it was only 6 in the morning. The snoring behind me was Nightmare, 'I wonder how he can sleep so easy?' I thought as I turned to look at the sleeping form next to me. I smiled softly at him. 'Cute.' I thought then sighed, 'Should probably at least try to get some more sleep.' I said and laid on my side. I closed my eyes in an attempt to fall asleep.

Luckily it worked for once.

~~~Nightmare's POV~~~
(Dreaming(?))

I was in the dreamscape. A place only me and Dream could use and enter, of course I first used it to mess with people, but I stopped that years ago and just watched peoples dream instead. I walked around until I found who I was looking for. "H-Hey, Dream." I stuttered nervously. He turned around to face me and smiled widely.

"Nightmare! I see you've found the one huh?" He said with a sly grin. I blushed.

"Y-Yeah, but that's not what I came to find you for. I came here to ask you something."

"Sure, what is it?"

"Can you help me get her away from this place?" I asked, he gave me a confused look. After a couple of seconds his eyes widened in realization.

"Nightmare you know the problem with that. I don't think I can help you there."

"P-Please! I-"

"No." He cut me off with a serious tone. I could feel the tears in my eyes forming. I looked down not wanting to face him, I heard him sigh. "Nightmare, I would help you but you know as well as I do that our land is no place for her. She could get hurt, or worse." I nodded.

"I just want to help her." I whispered as the tears finally went down my skull.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up to Dream. He had a soft smile on his face. "I know you do. So I will tell you another way you can help her." He said.

"How?" I asked hope clearly showing in my eyes. He smiled.

"Well-"

~~~Your POV~~~

"Y/N, hey. Y/N wake up." Nightmare said, shaking me awake.

"5 more minutes." I grumbled.

"I guess you don't want to go on an adventure with me then." He said. 'Adventure?' I thought and opened my eyes groggily. I looked at the pouting skeleton before me.

"What adventure?" I asked making him smile even wider.

"Pack some clothes, were getting away from this place, and saving some friends of mine." He said walking towards my closet. I sat up and rubbed my eye.

"Where are we," I yawned cutting my sentence off. 'Stupid tiredness!' I thought,"Going?" I finished. I noticed a blue blush on Nightmare, but shrugged it off.

"If I told you, it would ruin the surprise of the adventure." He said, I chuckled and got up.

"Fine, fine. We just need to be wary of my parents."I said as I got up.

"Don't worry, my brother is taking care of them." He said as he looked for a bag, most likely.

"Dream is?" I asked in disbelieve. He nodded happily. I chuckled as I walked over to him. "It's up here." I said and pointed up to a secret door. He used his tentacles to open the door and grabbed my already packed bag. He brought it to the floor and I opened the bag to show 3 pairs of clothes, some money, and water. "We should be good, let me just change then we can go." He nodded and teleported out of the room.

"Just knock when your done." He said through my door. I responded with an 'Okay' and changed.

We were walking through a forest on a trail when we reached a fork in the road. One kept going and the other had a no walking passed this point. "Come on, this way." Nightmare said and started walking towards the sign. I just gave him a confused look and stayed where I was. He noticed I wasn't with him as he stopped and turned around. "What's wrong?"

"I know this is the same question I've asked a million times, but where exactly are we going?" I asked once more, he sighed.

"It's to save my friends. Please trust me?" He asked me and held his hand out. I gave him a skeptical look, but just nodded and took his hand, he blushed slightly. "Besides we're almost there, and no matter what i'll be beside you the whole way." He said giving me a smile. I finally smiled back and we continued walking.

We soon reached near the top of the mountain. I looked over to the city and stared in awe at the beautiful sight before me. "Y'know this is such a beautiful sight?" Nightmare asked me. I nodded as I continued to stare. "Although, it will never as beautiful as you." He whispered in my ear. I blushed madly and covered my face with my hands. He chuckled at this.

~~~Nightmare's POV~~~
(my gawd so many POV changes this chapter)

I chuckled at her reaction. It was just so cute. 'I should thank Dream for the help of this idea.' I thought to myself. "Come on, we should probably keep going. We're very close to our destination." I said, she split her fingers and looked at me then nodded. I held my hand out for her to take and she took his, still blushing. I could feel myself faintly blush as we continued onward.

~[Flashback HOORAY!]~

"-and then I will help with the rest. Okay?" Dream said with a triumphant smile, I had finally stopped crying as he explained his plan. I nodded, but soon realized something.

"But w-what if she doesn't trust me enough. Then the plan won't work!" I said making me almost burst into tears again.

"Hey, hey. She trusts you. In fact I pretty sure she likes you too." He said with a wink, I blushed slightly and looked away.

"S-She doesn't like me. I'm just a blob of a used to be skeleton." I looked down ashamed.

"Nightmare." He said putting both hands on my shoulders. I looked up to his serious face. "She does, and I know for a fact that you like her too. You just have to have some confidence. In fact while your doing the plan give her some complements, help her out, protect her! Just do what your soul tells you to do." He said and looked at me with a smile. "She'll come through, and once you believe the time is right. Ask her out." I blushed again.

"Y-You think it'll work?" I asked shyly. He nodded.

"I know it will work. Now you better go and get ready." 

"Yeah, thanks Dream!" I said as I started to walk away.

"AND DON'T FORGET TO KEEP HER SAFE!" He yelled as I continued to walk back to my mind.

~[End flashback]~

I stopped as we then reached the cave. I lead her into it and stopped just before the hole. "Uh, N-Nightmare. What's with the giant scary hole?" Y/N asked me. I looked at her slightly scared face.

"This is the entrance to the underground, it's where all my friends live. Do you trust me?" I asked her. She looked at me confused. "Do you trust me?" I asked her once more. She glanced over to the hole then back at me.

"Y-Yes, I trust you." She said. I hugged her surprising her as she tensed, but soon relaxed.

"Just remember, I'll protect you the whole way." I whispered to her and leaned back. Making us fall into the hole.

A/N

Okay so your all probably wondering why I didn't update the other day, Right? Well I had tons of homework thanks to my fucking AP English class, WHICH I STILL HAVE MORE HW TO DO!!!, and I couldn't find much time to write this, secondly I want to go ahead and say this, since I'm going to say this for both stories, DO NOT ASK ME TO UPDATE!! I have been asked mostly in my 'Forced Resets' story but I just want to say this for both. I know it probably make me sound like an asshole, but please understand it's kind of annoying. Anyways since I cannot think for the life of me which Undertale AU I want to make you and Nightmare go through you guys get to pick HOORAY!! I'm too lazy to look up and think of some so you guys can tell me in the comments which one you want, just no Underswap or Underfell or even normal Undertale, cause that is too cliche. -shrug-

ANYHOO! I hope you enjoyed this chapter and the story so far!! If you are reading both my stories I will update 'Forced Resets' In a few hours just let me think of something for it and get it set up. Thanks for waiting!! =3
