Gabby's POV

After breakfast I went outside, practicing different ways on how to swing my scythe for battle. I was a bit bored. There wasn't much I wanted to do at the moment.

"Oi! Gabby!" Magane called. I looked at her. She waved at me.

"Can you come here for a moment." she said. I shrugged and went over to her.

"What's up?" I asked.

"You gotta see this. Envy and Ryuga are arm wrestling." Magane said.

"Uh, but can't Envy make his hand really big and heavy? He'd win easily right?" I asked. Magane giggled. I tilted my head.

"Wouldn't he?" I asked again.

"HOW ARE YOU DOING THIS?!" I heard Envy yell. We ran inside to the cafeteria. All our friends surrounded the two of them, watching as Ryuga almost had Envy's hand pinned. Ryuga had a smirk on his face while Envy was gritting his teeth in anger. I could see then vein about to pop out of his head.

"This is ridiculous! I'm a homunculus! I should have beaten you five minutes ago! How are you doing this?!" Envy snapped. I blinked.

"Five minutes?" I choked out. Ryuga's smirk only got bigger.

"Well, I don't like to lose." he said. Envy smirked.

"Yet you fell for Gabby's taunt like it was nothing." he said. Ryuga's smirk sank into an angry expression. In an instant he pinned down Envy's arm.

"What?! No way!" Envy said. Ryuga smirked.

"You should know, anger only fuels me." he stated. Envy pulled his arm back and pouted. Ulric, Magane and I were holding in laughter.

"Ha ha, very funny. Whatever." Envy mumbled. Crona looked over at Izaya.

"Izaya, did you see that?" he asked. Izaya ignored him and looked at his phone, a bothered look on his face. I looked over curiously.

"Izaya?" I asked. Izaya looked over at us.

"Huh? Oh, sorry. I'm just waiting for a response from Mairu and Kururi." he said.

"Who are they?" Ulric asked. Izaya smiled.

"Oh that's right, I haven't told you about them yet have I? They are my younger twin sisters." he said. All our eyes widened.

"You have two twin sisters?!" Magane said. That's right, I remember them. They are from the same anime as Izaya, called Durarara.

"How old are they?" I asked.

"Both fifteen." Izaya said.

"Any other surprise family members you have?" Envy asked.

"Not really." Izaya said.

"What about you Magane? Any siblings or other family members?" I asked. Magane placed a hand on her chin.

"Hmm? Let's see, do I? No, I think I've been a sweet little orphan my whole life." she said with a smile. I frowned.

"Oh Magane, I didn't mean to..." I said.

"No its fine! For the most part, being an orphan was fun for me!" Magane said.

"Same here." Ulric said. I looked over at him.

"You too Ulric?" I said. He nodded.

"Yeah, but it wasn't that bad, aside from being a bit lonely." he said.

"It could be a whole lot worse. Trust me." Ryuga said. I looked at him.

"You too?" I said. He nodded.

"However, I wasn't alone." he said. We all looked at him curiously.

"You weren't?" Crona said.

"Nope, I had my younger brother." Ryuga said.

"Younger brother you say?" Izaya said.

"Yeah, he's a treasure hunter named Ryuto. No younger than fourteen right now. I haven't seen him in a while though. He.....wasn't to happy when I joined the Central." he said.

"Oh I think I've actually heard of him! When I was back in my old city I overheard almost everyone talking about him. Never got to meet him though." Magane said. Crona frowned.

"Well, you all seem to know about my mother. Ragnorak is just about the closest thing to a real brother I've ever had." he said.

"I feel ya kid. Your lucky you had someone though. I was alone to stick with my piss poor excuse for a father." Envy said. I frowned. No one had easy lives huh? Not like me and Alex did in the real world. I felt bad. Ulric looked over at me.

"Gabby? You okay?" he asked. I looked at him and smiled.

"Uh yeah, its nothing." I said quietly, looking over my wolf bracelet.

"What about you Gabby?" Crona asked. I looked at him confused.

"What now?" I said. Crona smiled.

"What about your family?" he asked.

"Oh! Um well, let's see.....I have a little sister who is eleven I think." I said.

"A little sister? What was her name?" Izaya asked.

"Cassidy. Her name is Cassidy." I said. I giggled.

"And boy was she trouble. She would sometimes drive me and Alex nuts." I said.

"What about your parents?" Ulric asked.

"My dad was really cool. We did all sorts of stuff together. And my mom was really nice, but she was a real clutz, and would lose everything." I said, laughing a bit. Magane smiled, sitting down and resting her head on her hands.

"That's nice. I bet they really love each other." she said. My eyes widened at that. Then I looked at the ground, my hair covering my face.

"Actually....its not like that...." I said quietly.

"Wait, you mean they aren't........oh." Magane said. I nodded. Everyone looked at me concerned.

"Gabby I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you." Magane said. I shook my head.

"No its fine. I just.....kinda miss them is all." I said. Ulric placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Gabby...." he said. I looked up and smiled at everyone.

"Its really not a big deal. I promise." I said. I started to walk away.

"I'm gonna do a bit of training. I'll see ya later." I said then took off. As I ran I spotted Alex's flower on the ground. I picked it up.

"Huh? I wonder how long Alex is gonna be with Takano? I hope she'll be okay." I said. With that I put the flower in my pocket and kept running to the courtyard.
