Ulric stormed down the hall, with the others close behind him. They reached Stein's office and knocked on the door.

"Stein. Its us, please let us in", Ulric demanded. The door creaked open and Stein poked his head out.
"I figured you'd wanna talk. Come inside", he said.

All of them went in without hesitation.
"Stein, there must be some way to at least get the girls off those damn leashes", Magane said.
"Sorry guys but its Mustang's orders", Stein stated.

"Seriously? So you're just gonna let them out there alone?", Envy asked.
"Technically, they aren't alone. They have each other", he Stein replied.

"Dammit Stein please, I believe in discipline but this is wrong and insane", Ryuga snapped.
Crona's eyes welled up with tears.
"We really can't do anything?", he asked weakly. Stein shook his head.

"This sucks, what do we do now?", Izaya asked. Stein sighed and lit a cigarette.
"I wish I could help you guys, really I do. But arguing and disobeying orders is not an option", he stated.

"Well maybe you should at least talk to him. Say something", Magane urged.

Stein said nothing. This was pretty harsh of Roy to do. He felt bad for those poor girls. He really did want to help.
Stein gave a small smile.
"You guys win. I'll try my best to convince him", he said.

They all went to Roy's office. Stein went inside while the others waited. Stein carefully approached Roy.

Riza was by his side. Edward, Alphonse, and Winry were there as well. Probably for the same reason he was here for.
"Stein? Hawkeye? Why are all of you in my office?", Roy asked.

"Easy Roy, we just wanna talk", Stein said calmly. Roy stood up.

"You're all here to have the girls back in right? Not gonna happen", Roy said flatly.

"But why? Its not fair. They don't deserve this", Winry said with tears in her eyes.
"Come on Mustang. Give them some slack. They've worked hard here in Central", Edward stated.
"Yeah. They've done so much for us and this is how you repay them?", Alphonse said.

Roy looked at Riza. She looked away, guilt in her eyes.
"Liutenent, do you feel the same way?", he asked. Riza said nothing but nodded her head yes.
Stein shrugged.

"We can beg all we want but the decision is still yours Roy. What do you say? Let 2 girls sit out in the rain and be right, or bring them to get back everyone's respect?", he asked.

Roy looked away. In all honesty as soon as those girls left the office he kinda regreted his decision. This was his chance to change that.
"Alright then. Let the girls in and I will speak with them", he ordered.

With that Stein left the office and the whole group waiting got back up to their feet.
"So what did he say?", Crona asked. Stein smiled.

"We got the girls back", he said. Ryuga rushed to the guards and told them their new orders.

Alex POV

We sat out there in the rain. All that fighting rang in my head. I looked over at Gabby, she seemed more depressed then I was.

I stood up, licked her face, and gave a happy bark.
"Hey don't be so sad. Its only for 3 days", I chimed.

"Yeah but Roy probably hates us", Gabby muttered.
"Yeah well.....we'll find some way to earn back his respect. I promise", I said. 
Gabby looked at me surprised.

"So don't be so down in the dumps. Smile", I urged.
"Alex..", Gabby said shocked.

That's when the same 2 guards came back. I stood up and growled at them.

"Oh god what now?", Gabby groaned.
"Don't you hurt us", I barked, even though they couldn't hear my words.

The guards tensed up and put there arms up to calm me down.
"Please miss, we're not here to hurt you. The Colonel ordered us to bring you back in and feed you", he explained. 

I tilted my head in confusion. The guards untied us from the leashes and led us back inside. We found Mustang with Stein in the hallway.

"Leave us", Roy ordered the guards. The guards left and we slowly walked up to them.

"Take your human forms", he ordered. We did as told and remained silent.
There was a moment of silence. 

Gabby finally broke it.
"Sir, we truly are sorry. We shouldn't have disobeyed orders like that", she said.
"We're sorry to you too Stein. We should've listened to you", I said.

Stein came up and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Don't worry about it. To be honest if I was you, I probably would've done the same things", he admitted.

"I should apologize too. I went overboard with the punishment. My anger tends to get out of hand. If I forgive you guys will you forgive me?", he asked.

Gabby and I smiled.
"Of course", we said unison. Roy smiled.

"Good. I suggest you get to the cafeteria. Your friends are worried sick", he said. So we did just that.

As we entered all eyes were on us. Crona ran up and hugged Gabby.
"We're so glad you're ok", he said. Gabby hugged back.

Izaya came and wrapped an arm around my shoulder.
"Alex-chan, you guys are ok right?", he asked. I giggle and nodded.

We looked to see a big pizza on the table.
"The Colonel gave us this and seduced the punishment to a week inside", Envy explained. My stomach growled.

"Well I'm pretty hungry how about you guys?", I asked. We all nodded. I sat next to Ryuga and Gabby sat next to Ulric.

"So why did Roy change his mind?", Gabby asked.

"Well Ulric suggested that we beg Stein for help so we all did so which turned into Edward, Alphonse, Winry, Riza, and Stein begging him to set you free", Magane explained.

My eyes widened.
"You guys did all that...for us?", I asked.
"Of course, you guys did kinda bring this little team together", Ryuga stated.

"Besides, its what a good friend would've done", Ulric said. I smiled.

"Well thanks guys, we should have a pizza eating contest to celebrate", I suggested.
"I'm in", Envy said.
"Lets do this", Magane cheered.

The rest of the night went pretty smoothly. We still couldn't go anywhere for a week but that was ok. Its was better then being out in the rain.
