Gabby's POV

We all went back to headquarters. No one said a word on the way. When we did get back Stein and Roy had all eight of us talk in his office. Right now Roy sat in his desk, glaring at all of us. Stein stood by him, the same look in his eyes. We were all silent.

"You better have a damn good explanation for using the Demon Alpha spell and sneaking into Stein's office." Roy said.

"We stole the spell because my sister and I believed we had the right to at least know what power we could use. As for using it, we used it as a last defense against Medusa and her labrynth." I said.

"I made it very clear that the spell wasn't your business." Stein said firmly.

"How is it not our responsibility Professor? As an ice wolf and Alex as a fire fox we have the perfect right to know." I stated.

"You knew that could've killed you. You are both very lucky you survived. I promise you that was a miracle." Stein stated. 

"If we didn't use it we all would've died!" I snapped.

"And for the record, if we need to use that power to save others, we are willing to sacrifice ourselves in order to do so." Alex stated. Stein gritted his teeth.

"That's exactly  what we didn't want you doing!" he snapped.

"Cut them some slack! They were very brave to have used that spell and face off Medusa." Ulric said.

"As for the rest of you, did you help in stealing the page?" Stein asked.

"We did, because we also believe they had a right to know." Envy stated.

"Even if it may cost their lives?!" Stein snapped angrily.

"Yes, because as their friends and teammates we support them, whether we like it or not." Ryuga stated. Magane glared at Stein.

"Listen Professor, with all do respect, if the twins want to use that spell for an emergency, you can't stop them. Its their choice and theirs alone!"  she snapped. Stein sighed.

"Listen, I know you want to do everything you can to help us and others, but that doesn't mean to be the hero and take unnessacary risks like this! Including disobedience." he stated. Izaya frowned.

"Unnessacary? Okay Stein, put yourself in our shoes. We were cornered, Medusa and her little minions surrounding us, tired and weak. What would you have done?" Izaya snapped. Alex looked uncomfortable.

"Please....no fighting." she said weakly. I looked at her concerned.

"We understand your concern Professor Stein, but the Demon Alpha spell was our only choice left, aside from dying." Crona stated.

"You could have waited for us to come!" Stein stated.

"How were we suppose to know you would come anytime soon?! We were a bunch of sitting ducks on our asses!" Ryuga yelled. Alex flinched and buried her head in her hood.

"Exactly! For all we know you could've been too late?! At that point all of us would be dead instead of a chance, a CHANCE, of there being two dead! How would you feel then huh?!" Ulric stated. Soon enough our friends were arguing with Stein. Alex and I were silent. Alex was shaking now. Finally Roy stood up and slammed his fists onto his desk, making a loud thud.

"THATS ENOUGH!" he roared. We all flinched and were silent. Roy glared at all of us.

"I.WILL NOT! Tolerate smartass remarks, disobiedience, or anymore stupid risks!" he roared. He looked at me and Alex and held out his hand.

"The spell. NOW." he demanded. Alex and I flinched. I took the spell out and placed it on his hand. He took it and placed it on his desk. Then he stepped back and snapped his fingers, burning the page into ashes. Alex and I gasped.

"Now no one will use it again." Roy said. He glared at everyone.

"You all stole from Stein. As punishment, you are to not leave this building until I say so. You may not even go out into the courtyard. No missions for two weeks. No more, no less." he stated. His eyes were dark and scary.

"And if I catch any of you leave...." he said. He cracked his knuckles.

"I won't be afraid to teach you a lesson." he stated. I gulped. Roy looked at me and Alex.

"As for you two mutts." he said. Alex and I froze. There was a crack of thunder, and I could hear rain.

"If your going to misbehave like bad dogs, then you shall be punished like bad dogs. Three days, you be in your hound forms.  And you will be chained outside on leashes. You will be fed three times a day, no transforming back into humans." Roy explained. Our eyes widened.

"Wait hold up Roy, you can't do that to them! They were only trying to help! They saved us!" Envy stated. Roy glared at him.

"Shut your mouth homuculous, before I burn your mouth and eyes out!" he snapped. Envy flinched and remained silent. Ryuga stepped up.

"No! This is an outrage! They don't deserve this!" he snapped. In a flash Roy grabbed Ryuga by the collar of his shirt and glared at him.

"I don't want any complaining, arguing, or talking back! Understand?!" he yelled. Ryuga only sneered at him. Alex grabbed onto his coat and tugged on it.

"Let him go! He didn't do anything!" Alex begged. She transformed into her fox form and yelped and whimed. Roy looked down at her, then released Ryuga. 

"Roy, I understand what they did was wrong, but this might be too far." Stein said.

"My decision is final." Roy declared. He glared down at me. Alex whimpered and hid behind me.

"Stein, have the leashes set up out there in no less than five minutes." Roy stated. Stein looked at us, then went out into the rain. 

"Now, all of you, leave my office." Roy said. Without another word we left his office. The moment we were outside his office Ryuga punched the wall.

"That bastard!" he snapped.

"Its okay guys, its really not that bad." I said.

"Not that bad?! Tell that to the thunderstorm outside!" Magane stated.

"Please, don't interfere anymore." I said. I frowned.

"Its because of us that you guys got into trouble." I said.

"Gabby don't say that." Crona said.

"Its fine, really." I said with a sad smile. Alex nuzzled her head into my head. Two soldiers walked over to us, leashes in hand.

"Alex and Gabby." one of them said. I turned to face them and nodded. I transformed into my wolf form. One soldier put a leash on Alex and one on me. We looked back at our friends with sad looks, then the soldiers took us outside into the pouring rain, as well as thunder.A

Author's POV

We all stood there for a moment. Then Envy blew up.

"We can't sit here on our asses can we?! Are we really gonna just sit here and say nothing?!" he snapped. Ulric growled and walked down the hall.

"Ulric? What are you doing?" Izaya asked. Ulric turned to face them.

"I'm gonna talk to Stein, and get the girls out of those damn leashes." he stated. He continued to walk. They all looked at each other. Then they followed Ulric.
