Alex POV

The eight of us headed down to the restaurant Izaya suggested.
"So what kind of place is it?", I asked.

"Its a surprise", Izaya stated. We all followed him until we reached a dark alleyway.

"Is it down there?", Crona asked.
"Well truth be told not many people know of this place for a reason", Izaya replied.
"I bet the reason is because illegal shit happens here right?", Envy said with a smirk.

"Correct", Izaya chimed. I skipped alongside him, humming a random tune.  Then we reached a decent sized building with a sign that said "Okage Lunch house".

"Shall we?", Izaya urged. We went inside. There were quite a few people there, mostly adults and 18 year olds.

The walls had a bunch of Japanese writing on them and there was a whole buffet full of stuff. My mouth watered just looking at it.

"Alright Everyone, lunch is on me so dig in", Izaya declared.
"Oh hell yeah", Magane said.

Everyone each got what they wanted and took a seat at the largest table. I got spetteghi  with mashed potatoes and a large soda. 

Gabby got a simple chicken and fries with a soda. Ulric got as much meat as possible. Magane got pizza with a small bowl of ice cream.

Crona got Mongolian noodles with a piece of French bread. Ryuga got some ham with mashed potatoes and some stew.

Izaya got some fatty tuna and hot pot. Envy got steak and a big piece of chocolate cake.

"This is sooo good", I stated. All of us were digging in. 
"How long have you known of this place?", Ryuga asked Izaya.

"I'd say about 3 years", he replied.

"Why didn't you say anything sooner?", Ulric asked.
"Well I have to be careful with secrets like this", Izaya pointed out.

"So what exactly is illegal about this place?", Gabby asked.
"Simple, the food here is delivered and made without authorities. Plus this building isn't registered officially here in Central so I suppose being here is a big enough crime to get us arrested", Izaya explained.

All of us froze and stared at our meal. I gulped a bite of food slowly.
"Uh, Mustang won't know we're here right?", I asked nervously.

"Relax, as long as no one lets the cat out of the bag we should be good", Izaya assured.
"You're insane", Envy stated.
"And you're not?", Izaya asked. Envy shrugged.

"Fair point", he said.

"So, what did you find out about that true power?", Ryuga asked. Gabby pulled out the page from her pocket and passed it to Ulric. 

One by one the guys passed around and read the page, each one ending with wide eyes.
"Damn, that's crazy", Ryuga said.
"Are you guys gonna use it at all?", Ulric asked.
"I hope not! I just got friends, I don't wanna lose any", Envy said angrily. I smiled and leaned against him.

"Thanks for caring Envy", I chimed. Envy looked away.

"Whatever", he muttered.
"He has a point, you guys would most certainly die", Izaya stated.
"But what if its really important? I think we should at least learn how to do it", Gabby said.

"But what if you do die.....I don't I can handle losing you guys", Crona said sadly.
"Honestly, same here", Magane admitted.

Everyone gave worried and concerned expressions. I had to change the mood.
"Hey guys don't worry, no one is gonna die. I doubt it'll matter cause we don't have to use it", I said.
"You sure about that?", Gabby asked. I stood up.

"I'm positive. As a professional optimist I know for sure", I stated. I smiled bigger as I heard a bit of laughter from the group.

"Yeah!! Everyone is laughing", I chimed. I got an idea. I ran and got eight sodas. One for each person.

"What are these for?", Ryuga asked as I passed them out.

"Its for a toast", I stated. I stood up on my chair and held my drink proudly.
"This toast is in honor of the many adventures we've had as friends", I declared. 

"I'm in", Magane said and raised her drink with me. Gabby smiled and joined in. Crona joined next. Then Ulric, Envy, and Izaya. All eyes were on Izaya.

"This is stupid", Ryuga said. A smile crept across his face.

"But I guess its nice", he admitted. He got up and joined in with his drink in hand.

"Alright then, 1..2....3", I counted off. On three we all clanked on our drinks. Then Everyone sat back down. 

As I attempted though I tripped over my own feet and fell to the ground. Then my soda fell on top of me and spilled all over me.

Everyone in the restaurant heard the crash and all eyes were on me. I felt a blush of embarrassment grow on my cheeks.

Then the group started to laugh.
"Holy crap that was great", Magane. All of us were being stared at now but I don't think we cared. Soon I joined in with the laughter.

Envy helped me up and I cleaned myself in the restroom. After that Izaya paid for the meal and we left.

"I swear that was the greatest food ever", Ulric stated. Everyone debated on what was the best there. I felt so happy.

Suddenly I felt dizzy and stopped. Gabby looked at me.
"You ok Alex?", she asked. My vision got more and more blurry. Before I knew it I fell to the ground.

Everyone surrounded me. I could barely hear their voices cry out for me as I drifted off onto unconsciousness.

I saw more images. One was with us with a strange place I couldn't even explain, another was the one with the strange shadow woman.

I tried to get a better look but the image wasn't vivid enough. She looked so familiar. I wish I knew for sure.

The images went away and I could see a light as I started to wake myself up. I knew it, another vision.
