Gabby's POV

I read over the page carefully.

"Lets see.....ice wolves and fire fixes usually have very strong connections with each other. Almost like family, despite the difference in their powers. It turns out, that if their bond is strong enough, they can use soul resonance. This will then cause their bodies to fuse together into one powerful being, known as the Demon Alpha. A giant flaming purple fox with the power of both ice and fire. Its very powerful, and it can wipe out entire cities. However, there is a price for this power. If used, there is a 99% percent chance of their souls being shattered, thus getting killed." I read aloud.

"Whoa, no wonder Stein didn't want you to see it. He was probably trying to protect you." Crona said.

"Yeah, if you were to become the Demon Alpha you would die." Magane said.

"Still, he didn't need to hide this." I stated. I shoved it in my pocket for later.

"Guys get out of there! He's coming back!" Izaya hissed. We all froze.

"Oh no, what do we do?!" Crona said panicked.

"What do you think? RUN!" Alex said. We were about to run out of the office but Izaya shut the door instantly.

"What is he doing?!" Alex said.

"He better not bail on us." I said.

"Izaya, what are you doing here?" we heard Stein say. We all gulped. They were right outside the door.

"Your not suppose to be here, Mr.Orihara." Stein stated.

"I'm sorry to intrude Professor. But I needed to share some important information with you." Izaya said.

"Were dead, were dead, were soooo dead." I whispered, panicking slightly. Magane shushed me and we kept listening.

"And what would that be?" Stein asked.

"Oh well you see, there was an accident, and the (cough) vents are now spilling out a poisonous gas." Izaya said. I tilted my head.

"Vents?" I said. Magane perked up and looked behind her, then smiled.

"Vents!" she said. She was pointing to the vent that was above his desk. We all grinned.

"Perfect!" Alex said. Magane went to the desk, climbed on top of it, then opened the vent.

"Why would there be poisonous gas in only my office?" Stein said. Magane got into the vent fully. Alex climbed on top of the desk and Magane helped her up.

"Oh well, its a long story. I don't know much about it myself. Anyway, I suggest you wait an hour or so, let the gas go away for a bit you know?" Izaya said. Alex got into the vent.

"You next." Crona said. I nodded. I climbed on top of the desk and Magane helped me up.

"Izaya Orihara, if I didn't know any better, I'd say your lying to me." Stein said. Soon I was up.

"Crona come on." Alex said. Crona hurried over and climbed on top of his desk, and Magane helped him up. However his robe got caught on the edge of the desk. Crona looked down nervously.

"No no no, not now!" he said, trying to use his foot to free his self.

"Izaya, are there other people in my office?" Stein asked. We all started to silently panic.

"What! No of course not." Izaya said confidently. I could barely hear the nervousness in his voice.

"Pull me up! Pull me up!" Crona said. I helped Magane pull him up.

"Step aside Izaya." Stein said. Finally his robe was free and we pulled him up, then Magane quickly put back on the vent lid, or whatever it is. 

"Stein wait-" Izaya said, but we heard the door open. We didn't even breathe as we heard Stein's footsteps. Then eventually he spoke up.

"Hmm, seems no one is here." Stein said.

"Ah, and it seems the gas cleared too huh? Well I should be going now Professor. Later!" Izaya said as he left. We heard Stein leave as well, closing the door. We all let out a huge sigh of relief.

"That was way too close." Alex stated.

"No kidding." I said. Magane giggled.

"Actually it was really fun, with the pressure of getting caught running through my veins. It made me crazy!" Magane said. Crona chuckled.

"It was fun actually, it felt so.....exciting." he admitted. Alex and I giggled.

"I thought we were goners." I giggled. 

"So did I." Alex said. Soon enough we were all laughing loudly, letting our child selves take over for a few minutes. When we finally calmed down I sighed.

"Lets go, we can't leave the boys hanging." I said. Crona frowned.

"Are you referring me as a girl?" he asked.

"No, but....." I said.

"Crona come on, you look a lot like a girl." Magane said.

"I do not!" Crona stated.

"Its not a bad thing, and its not entirely your fault. Its just your face and slim body figure." Alex said.

"And his hair, voice, dress...." Magane added.

"Its a robe!" Crona stated. We all laughed as he blushed bright red, but soon joined in the laughter.

"I guess I do look a bit feminine huh?" he said.

Author's POV

The others were waiting impatiently for their friends in the near the office, but not too close of course. Izaya was waiting with them, for he already explained the fact they almost got caught.

"You think they got your hint?" Ryuga asked.

"I hope so. But there smart, and they weren't there when Stein went into the room so they must have." Izaya said. 

"How bad would it be if we got caught?" Envy asked.

"Please, that's easily all our asses hung on the wall." Ulric stated. Envy gulped.

"Dammit where are they?" he muttered. Suddenly the vent door above them hit right on Ryuga's head.

"Ow! What the hell-" 

"Crap I'm slipping!" Alex said as she fell out of the vent. Ryuga caught her in his arms without even thinking. Alex blushed and put on a silly grin.

"Hello!" she said in her baby voice. Ryuga rolled his eyes and put her down.

"Coming down!" Magane said as she leaped down out of the vent. Alex and Ryuga moved aside and she landed between them.

"Move aside peeps!" Magane said. As everyone backed away Crona fell out of the vent screaming. When he hit the floor he yelped in pain, then groaned.

"That wasn't fun." he said. He got up and rubbed his head. Ulric went over to him.

"You okay? Where's Gabby?" he asked. Magane smiled.

"She should be here in three.....two......one-" there was a scream in the vents and Gabby fell out. Ulric quickly caught her in his arms. Gabby blushed brightly.

"U-Ulric?" she stuttered. Ulric smirked.

"Surprise." he said. He put her down and she stepped away, her face as red as a tomato.

"Alright, your here. That's good. Follow up question, please tell me you have the page and that we didn't waste our time?" Izaya said.

"Or worse, do it again...." Envy said, shuddering a little afterwards. Gabby dug into her pocket and showed off the page.

"I have it right hear. And dude you won't believe what we can do." I said. Magane's stomach growled. She giggled nervously.

"Can we tell them after some brunch?" she asked. All our stomachs growled.

"I think all of us could have something to eat." I said.

"I know a great restraint in town that we can eat at." Izaya said.

"Sounds great! You can tell us there." Ulric said. We all followed Izaya into town.
