Gabby's POV

Its been about a week I think since Envy has joined our team. He's made very.....annoyed once in a while, but we think he's an awesome part of this team. Well, most of us. Ryuga has kinda a grudge on Envy, but at least he's trying to get along with him, especially around Alex. Roy, on the other hand, has been more suspicious then he should be. Thankfully Envy has us, even Ryuga doesn't like Roy's anger, but he still has to be careful like all of us.

As for me, I've tried to act a bit tougher and do more training, to prove to Ulric I wasn't someone who isn't afraid to get the job right. Sometimes I trained so much, Alex thought I was doing to much of it. Well now it was six in the morning, and I went down to the court yard to do....well, training. I went down, scythe in hand. Crona and Magane came down with me. They usually help me with my training, because everyone else was so cranky at this time. 

"Thanks for coming out here guys. It means a lot." I said. 

"Of course, we'd love to help." Crona said.

"Yeah, besides its always fun." Magane said. 

"Okay, Crona, your up first. Magane, you know what to do afterwards." I said. They both nodded. I cast my scythe aside.

"Oh, were doing hand to hand today huh? I like it." Magane said.

"Its the one I suck at most. Besides, there might be a time where I won't have my scythe with me and the enemy does have weapons. So I gotta practice on that." I said. I leaped back and got into fighting stance. 

"Alright, here I go." Crona said. He took his sword and it started to glow purple.

"Screaming resonance!" he cried. He waved his sword at me, a big purple wave heading towards me, followed by a loud deafening screech from his sword. I quickly jumped away to dodge it, only to have Crona right behind be in seconds. I dodged a stab to the head, and again and again as he repeated to thrust his sword at my face. I dodged each one, trying to see a weak spot to attack. At the right moment I ducked and did a sweep kick in his stomach, causing him to gagged and go flying. 

Out of nowhere Magane leaped onto my shoulders, dagger in hand. Using my strength from the demon hound within me, I flung her off, and she landed perfectly on her feet and charged again, Crona following her. Dodged a stab from Crona, but Magane kicked me in the face. I gritted my teeth and dodged a thrust from her dagger. Then I leaped back and froze the ground. They both leaped up to avoid getting trapped, but I quickly leaped up and kicked them both down onto the ground. They both hit the icy ground hard, Magane coughing up some blood.

"Gomenasai." I said. I leaped back and transformed into my wolf form. Magane smiled and wiped the blood off her lip.

"No that's good, your doing better than usual." Magane said. Crona stood up.

"Its not over yet though." he said, then charged. I jumped over him and bit into his shoulder, black blood barely leaking out. Then I leaped back. Crona chuckled.

"Did you forget Gabby?" he said. I was confused until I saw all the black blood on the ground.

"Oh crap!" I thought.

"Bloody Needle!" Crona cried out. I had to run away as his droplets of blood turned into sharp black spikes, a few of them scratching me. I looked back at them and growled in frustration. Then I made an ice beam and shot it at Crona, but he blocked it with his sword. Then suddenly I noticed Magane was gone. Crap where is she? I looked around frantically, but saw her from the corner of my eye. She kicked me in the side and I was sent flying. I yelped in pain as I skidded across the grass and stopped. Magane held the dagger close to my stomach and made a stabbing motion.

"Stab, stab, stab, stab, stab-" I barked angrily at her. I knew I lost, she didn't need to rub it in. Magane giggled.

"Sorry, couldn't help it." she said. I sat up and groaned.

"You did much better that time Gabby, but your still getting too frustrated when you can't attack. That gets you distracted and you don't focus on your surroundings. You need to focus on both your opponent and your surroundings. Okay?" Crona said. I groaned but nodded. This sucks, getting lectured by someone younger than me. I'm sixteen and he's fifteen, what the hell?! Still, he was right.

"I still think she did pretty well. I mean she made both of us bleed today." Magane said with a smile. I frowned, whimpering an apology.

"Oh, don't worry Gabby. Were not that hurt really." Crona said. Magane stroked my head.

"That's right. We're just fine." she said. I smiled.

"You all seem to be making good progress." said a voice. I looked over to see Stein coming our way, smoking a cigarette. 

"Morning Professor Stein." Magane and Crona said in unison. I barked a hello as well.

"I'm impressed with your training. Your making great progress and are taking it seriously. Keep it up." Stein said. I transformed out of my wolf form and approached him.

"Stein, I wanna talk to you." I said. Stein frowned.

"If this is about that secret power between ice wolves and fire foxes, the answer is you don't need to know." he said flatly. I pouted.

"Why?! It could be helpful in missions, plus as an ice wolf I deserve to know, as well as my sister!" I stated.

"I said no. There will be no exceptions." Stein stated. He turned around and walked away, without saying another word. I growled.

"Not cool!" I snapped, kicking the ground.

"That ripped page you want, if I was him, I would keep it in my office." Magane said.

"We can't go in there! No one goes into his room without getting into big trouble!" Crona said.

"Please, it couldn't have been that bad." I said.

"The last person that did sneak in wanted a spell for making food perfectly and tried to steal it from Stein." Crona said.

"Making food? Really? Out of all things that he picked?" Magane said, fake yawning.

"That person was Stein's next lab rat for his experiment, and was never seen since." Crona said. Magane and I froze.

"Lab rat....." I said. We all shuddered. I sighed.

"Okay, idea then." I said. Magane and Crona looked at me curiously. I smiled. 

"Time to break the rules." I said.

"What?!" Crona said.

"Yeah, someone will distract Stein while Alex and I go into his office and steal the page." I said. 

"That's crazy! We'll all get into trouble!" Crona said.

"Oh hell yeah! I'm in!" Magane said.

"I'm out!" Crona stated.

"Okay, how about this? We get the rest of the team together and have a vote. We'll vote whether or not we'll do this together. Fair?" I asked.

Magane nodded, Crona sighed but nodded.

"Fair." they said.
