Gabby's POV

We quicly raced down the hallway with iron walls, following Crona to find Erina. As we ran something bothered me. This whole situation boggled me. Why Envy just drop us into here, instead of killing us to keep it a secret? Also, why was Erina just standing outside the military base? This all felt fishy to me. We were about to run past a steel door that was on the left, but Crona stopped suddenly and faced it.

"This one. She's here." Crona said. Ulric tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge.

"Dammit, locked. Stand back." he said. Crona and I backed up. Ulric charged at the door with his shoulder, trying to bring it down. When the first time didn't work he did it again, and again, and again. Finally one more blow brought the door down. We went in and looked around. The room was dark and small, a small bed against the concrete walls, and a small table here as well. Sitting on the bed was Erina, hugging her knees and crying. I walked up to her.

"Erina? Its okay, don't be scared. We're gonna get you out of here." I said. Erina looked up at me and her eyes widened.

"You came...." she said.

"Of course we did. Why wouldn't we-" I stopped when she grabbed my hand.

"You shouldn't have come! You need to leave now!" she said. I gave her a confused look.

"Erina, what are you talking about?" I asked.

"You have to leave! Quickly! Or they'll kill you!" Erina said.

"Whoa whoa, take it easy." Ulric said.

"You don't understand! They wanted you to come! This is a trap!" Erina said. My eyes widened.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"YOU HAVE TO LEAVE NOW!" Erina screamed she pushed us all out of the room. She looked at us.

"I'll lead you out of here, come on!" she said. I grabbed her hand and looked her in the eyes.

"Erina. You need to calm down. Tell us whats going on." I said. Erina took deep breaths, then she looked at the ground guiltily. 

"This whole thing was planned. My capture as well. They said that if I didn't fake them capturing me, they would hurt Daddy." Erina said.

"How would they do that?" Crona asked.

"A couple days ago, this teenage girl sold Daddy a bag of candies. That same girl called me that night and said there was a dangerous magic snake inside it that could kill him. If I didn't do as they say they would have the snake kill Daddy." Erina explained, tears in her eyes. Crona's eyes widened.

"What?! Who would have that kind of power?" Ulric said. I thought over some anime characters that could do that. Who could do that? No one came up immediantly.

"Medusa." Crona said. All eyes were on him.

"That witch soul I sensed, it must be her." Crona stated.

"How would you know that?" Ulric asked.

"Well, I think I would know my own mother right?" Crona said. That's right, I remember now. Medusa was a bitch who experimented on her own son, which was Crona. Its all coming back now. We heard her laughter and Crona froze.

"Very good Crona. You remember me." I heard Medusa said. Crona's eyes went wide. The voice sounded like it was from the end of the hallway. I ran towards it.

"Gabby wait!" Ulric called. I heard my friends following me from behind so I kept going. Soon I came across a large room that had a large pond or pool fifteen feet below. It must've been twenty feet deep. I looked up to see Medusa on her broom, glaring down at me. Above her was where the ice froze over, dripping water, which is probably how that pool below was formed.  On the sides were a bunch of platforms and ledges we could leap to. Medusa grinned at me.

"So your one of the Demon Hounds? To be honest I've never seen one until now." she said.

"How could you manipulate a little girl like that?!" I snapped.

"Quite easily actually. Children are easy to deal with." she said. Medusa frowned.

"At least, until they grow up." she added.

"Like me?" Crona said, coming to stand next to me. Ulric and Erina came as well.

"Ah Crona. Its been too long." Medusa said. Crona glared at her, but was shaking like crazy.

"W-What do you w-want?" he stuttered.

"I guess it is a wonder why we went through all this trouble isn't it? Actually, we're here to get rid of you and your pesky friends." Medusa said. She smiled at least.

"Except for the twins of course." she said. I looked at her confused.

"We need them." she hissed, making Crona flinch and back up.

"Says you, its one against three bitch!" Ulric snapped. Medusa chuckled.

"Oh you silly pup, maybe you should re count." she said, pointing to a ledge to her right. I looked over and my eyes widened. Standing there was Ruruka from Danganronpa, and Magane, holding a dagger in her hands.

"Magane?" I said. Magane said nothing, but only looked at me with a blank expression.

"Hello down there! Nice to meet you! I'm Ruruka!" Ruruka said. Erina's eyes widened.

"That's the girl, the one who sold Papa the candies." Erina said. 

"So as you see, this is far from done." Medusa said. A bunch of magic black arrows started to emerge from her.

"Nake snake, cobra cobra." she said. All the arrows came right towards us. We all dodged them barely, then suddenly Magane was in front of me.

"Why?" I asked.

"I said I'd never be your friend." Magane stated she kicked me into the wall and I cried out in pain.

"This just proves it." she said.

*Flashback *

Magane was walking down the street, eating happily on a churo. 

"Man this place has great food. I love it!" she said. 

"Hey!" a voice called. Magane stopped and looked behind her and saw a girl running over to her. She smiled at her.

"Aren't you Magane? The greatest thief in Lior?" she said. Magane grinned.

"That's me!" she stated.

"Wow! I'm a big fan! I watch the news all the time and always see one of your famous crimes!" she said

"Thanks!" Magane said.

"My name is Ruruka." said the girl.

"Nice to meet you." Magane replied.

"I was wondering, can I be your partner?" Ruruka asked.

"Hmmm, sure. Why not." Magane replied Ruruka cheered and hugged her.

"Great! We can be friends now!" she said. Magane looked at her surprised, then hugged back.

"I'd like that." she said.
