Gabby's POV

I was shivering like crazy as we trekked through the thick, cold snow.
"Why did they have to come to a cold place like this?" I muttered.
"Well at least your wearing boots." Crona said. I frowned at him.
"Sorry, bad comment." he said. I sighed. Well he's not wrong. I am wearing the cutest set of white fuzzy boots with my outfit. But I was still cold. Ulric looked at me concerned.
"Hey, you okay Gabby?" he asked.
"Kinda." I said.
"You should've hold on to the Major's jacket." Ulric said.
"I'll live." I said. Although I did feel kinda dizzy.
"Hey Izaya, can Gabby borrow your coat?" Ulric asked.
"Why of course, I wouldn't want the poor lady to get sick." Izaya said. He took off his jacket and handed it to me. I put it on and smiled.
"Thank you." I said. We kept on searching, until Crona stopped suddenly.
"What's the hold up?" Ryuga asked.
"Her soul, we're very close. But, she we're not." Crona said.
"What the hell does that mean?" Ryuga said. Crona closed his eyes.
"I have to concentrate, I sense a lot of souls." he said. He gritted his teeth softly.
"So noisy..." he muttered. His eyes shut his eyes tighter. We all watched in confusion.
"I sense Erina, but I also sense....two souls behind us. A human, and....ugh I can't tell about the second one. I also sense....two other humans, I think one is Altair, the other one, a witch I think. Actually......" he said. His eyes shot open and he trembled. Something wasn't right. He wasn't saying something specific.
"Crona?" I said. Crona took a deep breath and looked at us.
"There must be a secret entrance nearby, because most of these souls are below us." he said. His eyes were hinted with fear.
"Okay then let's look around." I said. We all started to look around for a button or switch or something. After ten minutes of searching we couldn't find anything.
"Dammit where is it?! Are sure about this Crona?" Ulric asked.
"I'm positive." Crona stated.
"Well I guess we won't be able to find it." Izaya said.
"Don't talk like that! We are not giving up!" Alex said. We all froze at the sound of laughing. Then Envy emerged from behind one of the trees.
"That's the spirit! Never give up!" he mocked.
"What are you doing here?!" Ryuga snapped.
"Being bored!" Envy said. He pulled down on a lever that looked like a tree branch. Suddenly a large steel trapdoor opened below us, and we fell in. We all screamed as we fell into the darkness. Envy just watched, waving goodbye. As we fell I panicked, screaming and flailing. Until we all landed on a giant mattress. We all groaned as we got up.
"Ugh, where are we?" Ulric groaned. Izaya stood up and brushed snow off his shirt.
"Some sort of underground hideout I think." he said. There were two hallways. One on the left, and one on the right. Crona quickly looked over at the one on the right.
"That way! Erina is that way!" he stated. We all got up.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Alex said.
Suddenly a large alarm was set off.
"Oh crap!" I said.
"Altair's soul, I sense down on the left. She'll be coming closer soon." Crona said.
"Okay then, Alex, Izaya and I will distract her. Meanwhile, the rest of you go get Erina. The moment you have her, come find us, and we'll leave this place behind." Ryuga said.
"Sounds like a plan." Ulric said. With that we quickly separated.

Author's POV

Envy looked over the trapdoor and waved at the falling heroes.
He heard a whistle and looked over to see Magane looking as well.
"You did that quickly huh?" she said.
"Ah good, your here." Envy said.
"Why would you reveal your secret hideout? And why do you need me?" Magane asked. Envy didn't answer as he grabbed her arm and they jumped into the trapdoor. This caught Magane off guard, causing her eyes to widen a bit. Then Envy leaned close to the right and grabbed a hidden ledge. Afterwards he kicked a nearby button with his foot, causing a secret door to open. He threw Magane up, then flung himself up.
"Come with me." Envy said. He started to walk down the hallway. Magane pouted.
"I don't wanna! I wanna follow the others and see what they'll do. And besides you don't control me, I'm a free spirit and-" Envy grabbed the collar of her shirt and glared into her eyes, causing her to shut up.
"That wasn't a request." he said. He grabbed her wrist and dragged her down the hallway. They kept going down until they went into a dark room. Magane looked around confused.
"Why are we here?" she asked. Suddenly, headlights were light above, revealing a young woman beneath it. What she didn't know was that it was a witch, a witch named Medusa Gorgon from the anime Soul Eater. Medusa smiled at Magane.
"Ahhhh, so your Magane? I've heard a lot about you." Medusa said.
"Oh you've heard of me?! I'm flattered ma'm!" Magane said.
"I'm glad." Medusa said.
"Also, what the hell am I doing here?" Magane said.
"We've been expecting you Magane. We've heard about your power, and want to hire you." Medusa said.
"Oh yeah? And what is the job?" Magane asked.
"Those pests that are down here. We need them taken care of. And since you've got their trust, mostly, it would be easier for you to finish the job. What do you say?" Medusa explained.
"That's it? That's simple!" Magane said. Medusa raised a brow, quite pleased.
"Is that so?" she said.
"Yes! But I won't do it." Magane replied. Medusa frowned deeply at that.
"And why not?" Envy asked.
"Because, they are the most entertaining people I've ever met! I don't want to destroy my entertainment." Magane said.
"Really? Its not because you might care for the-"
"Don't you finish that sentence boy. I'll cut your tongue out." Magane said in a low, threatening voice. Envy clamped his mouth shut. Medusa sighed.
"I'm very disappointed Magane. But, I guess I can't force you into this." Medusa said. A door opened up behind her, and Magane tried to peek through the darkness to see who it was.
"That's why I brought her." Medusa said. Another headlight was flipped onto the door, and Magane's eyes widened. Standing by the door was her old 'friend', Ruruka from Danganronpa. Ruruka smiled and popped a sweet into her mouth.
"Magane, sweetie. Its been a long time hasn't it." she said. Magane's eyes were filled with something she hasn't felt in three years, fear.
"Ruruka......no, your suppose to be dead." she said.
"Surprise! I faked my death genius." Ruruka said. Magane just stood there frozen as Ruruka walked over to her.
"I heard you and Ruruka hear were good friends." Medusa said. Magane glared at Ruruka.
"What makes you think I'll do what you want?" she hissed.
"Oh let's see, maybe because I'll give you this if you don't." Ruruka said, holding up a red piece of candy. Magane's eyes widened and she backed up but Envy grabbed her arms to stop her from moving. Magane struggled to get free, desperate to get away.
"Oh, you remember what this does? Good, now you know how serious this is." Ruruka said.
"Keep that thing away from me!" Magane snapped. Ruruka came a bit closer and put the candy close to her face.
"You remember what this did, and what it'll do. You could lose control, and kill everyone in this place. And then, you might have enough energy to kill everyone in that military base. Maybe everyone in Briggs." Ruruka said. Magane trembled as she pressed the candy against her lips.
"We only want you to kill those Central kids, that's all. And that doesn't include the twins, cause see sweetheart we need those two. So, you either do this willingly, or you eat this, and let it do its magic." Ruruka said. Magane looked away. There was a moment of silence. Then she spoke up.
"Fine....." she said weakly.
"Good girl." Ruruka said, putting the candy in her pocket. Envy let Magane go.
"You have your orders. Go." Medusa said. Magane nodded and left to go and kill them, Envy following her.
