Alex POV

We all stared up in fear and shock as the monster looked at all of us.

"W-W-W-What the hell is that thing?", I stuttered.

"Magane, please tell me this is your doing", Gabby begged.

"I wish it was", Magane replied. Monokuma let out a nervous laugh.

"Ok so, heheheh Envy I'll leave this to you while I get the sword, Peace", he said and bolted into the temple.

"Don't you dare leave me out alone dammit", Envy called out panicked. It was too late. He was long gone. I transformed back and got my sword ready.

"Here's goes nothing", I said. I let out a battle cry as I charged for the monster. I tried to slash it but it blocked using its large blade like claws. 
It licked its lips as it looked at me.

"Hi there. You probably shouldn't eat me, I taste too sweet", I stated. The monster only roared in reply.

"SOMEONE HELP ME!!", I screamed. Ryuga ran underneath his chest and shot a fireball right at its neck. The monster cried out in pain.

"That hurt", it wailed. The monster used its other hand to send Ryuga flying against the temple wall.

"Ryuga!!", I called out.The monster then looked over at Envy. Envy started to panick.

"You stay away you damn freak", he said. In a flash it slashed his chest. Envy winced and stumbled back. While the monster's arm was exposed Izaya took the chance to throw a bunch of knives at.

Every single one was a direct hit. Then Gabby quickly ran in and slashed its gut while Ulric swung  a good punch at its face.

"Ha, got him", he said. The monster took Ulric's leg and threw him across the room.

"Oww", Ulric groaned. I took my chance and tried to slash him again but it just blocked me.

"Prey can't beat me", it stated. It took hold of me and held me tight. I struggled but I was stuck.
"Not good", I said. Crona focused.

"Screaming Resonance", he said. The purple shock waves hit the monster and it cried out in pain, however its grip on me only got tighter.

Then the monster impaled Crona hard in the the chest.

"Crona!!", Gabby called out. Crona sat up weakly.

"Sorry guys, I think I'm down for now", he admitted. Ryuga got back up
"Well I'm not", he stated. He ran up and sucker punched the monster in the face. Then he shot a fireball at his right leg. The monster stumbled back and glared at him.

"Stop moving so much", he complained angrily. Then it swung its large arm, hiting Gabby, Ryuga, Ulric, and Izaya all at once. What's worse is that he sent them flying.

The monster looked down at me. Unfortunately for me I was still stuck in his giant fist.

"Finally I can start eating", he said. I gulped.

"Remember what I said before. I tasted too sweet. TOO SWEET", I cried out. The monster opened its bid mouth, revealing its razor sharp teeth. Was I gonna die? No way. 

Tears welled up in my eyes thinking of death. Then a miracle struck. A sharp blade was pierced into one of the monster's eyes. I looked up and gasped. It was Envy, he had morphed his arm into a blade.

The monster screamed with rage and pain. It dropped me and glared at Envy.

"DIE!!", it roared. Envy jumped as it tried to slash him but the monster's claws got one of his legs. Envy stepped back a bit. I quickly wiped my eyes, luckily no one saw them. I took my Demon Hound form and charged.

I took ahold and bit hard into his arm. 
"Hey, let go", it demanded. I held on tight as he tried to shake me off. I let go for only a second so I could use my fire breath on it.

The monster howled as it burned. It tried desperately to put out the flames but had no luck. Envy took this chance and ran up to it. He slashed its large back. I took back my human form and grabbed my sword.

Running as fast as I can I slashed both of its legs while it still screamed. The monster seemed so focused on the flames it didn't even notice me and Envy slashing it a billion it times.

"BAD!! FIRE BAD", he wailed. Envy then jumped on the ceiling while I went below. Envy pierced it from the top while I stabbed his chest from below.

I'm pretty sure we both hit his heart cause it suddenly stopped in its tracks. "Move", Envy urged.

We got out of the way as the monster fell to the ground and laid there motion less. All of us stared at the body.

"I-I-Is it dead?", Crona asked.

"Oh god please tell me its dead", Gabby begged. Magane poked at the body. When it didn't react she grinned.

"It looks like it", she chimed.

"Why the hell weren't you fighting?", Ryuga asked. Magane shrugged.

"Sorry, the battle was getting so cool I totally got distracted", she stated. We all groaned. I looked at Envy, who gave a blank expression.

"Um....not that I'm complaining but why did you save me?", I asked. 

"Shut up. That wasn't my intention. I just didn't wanna get eaten. Besides, this makes us even for the other day", Envy explained. 

I smiled. "Well in any case, thank you", I said. Envy cringed.

"Ugh, don't say that, you're making my stomach turn", he stated. He grabbed the collar of my shirt and glared at me fiercely with his violet eyes.

"Listen brat, I'm still kill you. So don't think we're friends or anything. Cause I will NEVER be your friend. Got it bitch", Envy threatned. I nodded and he let me go. 

Without another word he followed Monokuma deeper into the temple. I sighed.

"Too bad, I really wanna be your friend", I said quietly. Magane hummed.

"Well, that all happened. Perhaps we should get out of here", she suggested.

"For once I agree with her", Izaya stated. We all helped each other up and left the temple.

"Has anyone figured out what we're gonna tell Roy?", I asked. No one said anything. 

"This'll be just peachy", Gabby sighed.
