After I woke up from my very special nap, I realized that I had overslept. I had slept at 3 in the evening and had woke up at 6.30. Gosh! Did I really slept so much? So much waste of time. But why nobody had come to check over me or had come to wake me up? No worries Sammy, congratulations you are INVISIBLE now! Uhmm...but also not your mother cared about you from the beginning, so this is so not special to you.

Leaving these things in my mind, I went towards my phone to check for any calls or messages. Especially from HIM. But why would he call back and that too an unknown number. No way. At least not in this lifetime. Chuck it. No bad thoughts please. Be optimistic.

I grabbed my phone from my study table and switched it on, it flashed some messages and 4 missed calls. My heart skipped a beat but gained it composure back as I tapped on it and it showed me some random number who had called 4 times.

Who's number might it be?

Sadly to know this, I did not have my internet connection right now. God damn thing! Sometimes I really think that internet is of no use to us but I always get failed by my own experiences and situations. Like NOW !

I guess I have to call back this number to know who is it. I called back the unknown number but it did not pick up my call. This stranger might be busy. I called it again but still no reply came back, so I left it and went to the bathroom to get fresh. After doing my regular chores in the bathroom, I came back and dried my face and hands with a towel. Then I went to make my hair which looked like a bird's nest. Seriously.

All this time I had not heard anything from my parents. I actually got scared now. To check, I went downstairs but found no one except my dog Sherry. It is a Labrador and extremely cute. She has those white fur on her body which I had always admired in a dog. Yes! Sherry is a female dog. Pay attention on the name please. She actually looked very innocent while sleeping on her pink rug which I had recently ordered online that I couldn't get my eyes off of her. Now, here I am, left alone in the house with my Sherry to admire. She is that adorable.

I was actually used to this but I don't know why I was getting scared somehow. On top of that, the lights of my dining room were flickering with great determination as if having a sole motive to scare me only. I couldn't help but let my brain to picture the ghost from Grudge. Eeps! No! That's so freaking scary.

I remember when I had first watched this movie I had fallen sick and had 102° fever. On top of that, I couldn't lower my legs down of my bed just in thought that the girl ghost would come out of my bed and grab my leg and drag me inside with her. Gosh! But yes these stupid lights were actually working as some extra stupid special effects. You know those one to scare the person more than the actual ghost can.

Without scaring a second more, I went to grab my phone from my pajama pocket to call Dad and ask where were they. But, I couldn't get it and then remembered that I had forgotten it upstairs on my study table. I took a last glance of my dog and ran upstairs to get it. I preferred running more than walking mostly because those damn lights. You see, save your life before you save someone else's. Ok! I do remember this. Always. Whether on flight or not. But definitely this situation is way more scarier than that of crashing of a plane but that doesn't mean I would want it either.

Reaching my room, I first went towards the table and got my phone. Then I called my father to ask him where did they go leaving me in the clutches of the flickering lights. Yeah. I am that scared ok. I then dialed his number and was answered the call but before he could even say something I fired my questions.

"Hey dad! Where are you? You know how much scared I got to find that you guys aren't here?"

"Oh dear! We are very sorry! You were sleeping so peacefully that we didn't want to bother you. And I definitely know that my brave princess is big enough to stay alone at home for sometimes."

"Yeah dad! But still atleast you could have left a note that you two were going out. I actually had a panick attack because of those stupid flickering lights that you haven't changed till now. I had almost fainted to think of presence of some ghost in our house."

"Aww poor honey! Don't worry ok! You know and we also know that there is no such thing in our house to worry about. Yes! So don't worry at all. Hmm. And yes before you shoot some more of your questions of where are we, let me tell you that we are at one of my friend's house. He had actually invited us today at their house for dinner and I couldn't say no to them. He is one of my classmates. I don't think you would know him. So we are right now at their house."

"Ok dad! No worries! Enjoy your dinner nicely and please don't worry about me as you always do and finish your dinner early and would come to me so that I am not scared. So please don't do that. And say a 'Hi' to your friend from me. Ok."

"Oh yes princess! Definitely! Ha Ha Ha! I won't do any such thing ok. Just take care of yourself and if you want you can call Celeste to be with you till the time we come back. And I have left some money on the drawer in my bedroom for you to order whatever you would want to eat. Just be safe. Ok. I love you princess."

In the background I could hear some grumbling from my mother for leaving me alone at home and also telling me to call my friends and even on top of that to order whatever I like. This much of pampering is not good for me and blah blah blah. You know the usual mother stuff. I had forgot that daddy was still on phone and replied to him ignoring my mother.

"Oh! That's great dad thank you so much. You know you are the best dad ever. Besides that I have told you this many times. I will be safe. No worries for that. You just enjoy yourself. Ok. Bye then. And obviously I love you loadzz."

With this I ended the call. Ok. I guess I have a lot to do now. But first lemme just call Celeste to check whether she can come to my house or not. I instantly dialed her number and waited for her to pick up the call. She actually took some moments to pick up.

"Hello!? Sam?"

"Hey! Hi Celest! How are you? Actually I won't take long but I just needed to ask you that can you please come to my house right now. My parents are not at home and we could also have some fun together. Also, we have not been able to spend time together. If you don't mind or if you have plans th-" she cut me off midway.

"Oh God Sam! How dare did you think that I won't come to your house to spend some quality time with you. From when did you become so formal with me. Uh. Just wait for me ok. I am reaching in just 10 mins."

"Uhmm...ok. Am waiting. Just don't make me wait too long and you know what I would do to you! Be here soon. Now come fast. Bye!"

"Hmm... now that's something. Threatening and all? Haan! Thankfully I got you back. Ok then. Am coming babes! Bye!" And then she ended the call.

Calling friend : Checked.

Now it's time for some food to be ordered. I called up a nearby pizza restaurant and ordered two medium sized pizzas with cokes and a brownie. Our and everyone's favorite. Soon, Celeste and the pizza delivery boy reached my house on time and got nearly bumped to each other when I took hold of the pizza and Celeste took hold of her gravity. I said a thank you to the boy who was of our age only and even gave him some tip. I was going to gesture Celest to come in when she raced beside me and slouched on the sofa without me telling her to come in. She was used to my house and my parents that it was like her own second home. Her house was even the same for me.

"Hey Celest!" I gave her a quick hug while she was sitting only.

"Hey Sam! How have you been? We haven't met properly for so much of time. It's just our busy schedules and that damn shitty class teacher of ours who changed our places. God! I seriously hate her like hell. Oh! Sorry! Hell is much better than her. How dare she can do this? Ok! I understand she is our class teacher but that doesn't mean she owes us."

"Oh my god bullet express! Just stop ok! Enough of bitching about someone who doesn't even hold any place in our pretty lives. Ok. Now lets just feast ourselves with this extra cheese pizza with our oh so extra toppings. I have even ordered some coke and brownies for us. You know that nothing is complete without these two! Especially-"

"-PIZZA" we said in unison and burst in fits of giggles.

Gradually, the night passed and now it was time for Celeste to go back her home. I had really enjoyed this evening alot. We spent our time in talking and taking some very special selfies. You see, anything is incomplete without it especially when you are with your friends. I mean how can you not take pictures when you are with your friends and keep them as memories with you. We really had alot of fun talking about television shows and some cute actors from it. But I did not tell Celest that I had Sumedh's number with me. I actually first want to confirm it and then move on and tell someone about it. I know Celeste is my bestie but precautions are always better than cure. No taking risks with anyone. And also when the time would come I would automatically go and tell her about all this.

We then said our goodbyes and I closed the door. It was 9 in the night. I still had decent time left to call Sumedh and verify the number. I was again very nervous to call him but I don't know how, suddenly I felt some confidence within me and dialed the number. Again the same thing happened in the first.

Going on.

Finally, no answer.

I was actually fed up of this. Calling him and him not receiving it. For the last time, I dialed once again. If he did not pick up this time then it is surely a fake number. Probably, Rohan is getting a very good lecture from me and even the best punch whenever we meet.

Hey peeps, how r u all doing? Hopes good. Hehehehehe.... a cliffhanger. Wohoooo....am seriously so proud of myself today. You guys know what, when I used to read stories and if there were not complete and on top od that the authors would leave any chapter on cliffhanger, I used to curse them badly(a very big sorry to all of them) but now I know that how it feels to do so. Am seriously feeling sooooooooo good right now. I can't explain it in words. But yess am not like others, I won't make u all wait to read the next chapter. You all probably know that I love u all so much that I won't do such a thing. I even promise u all that the next chapter would be a very good one with the protagonists first time talking to each other. So for now....a cliffhanger. But don't forget to vote and comment.
