On an island thousands of miles away from the island of Berk, was an island that was homed to a pack of dragons, these were no ordinary dragons, there were Night Furies, and Light Furies This pack of a reasonable size. The alpha was an titan wing night fury, her scales we're jet black in colour. Ready for the new generation of dragons to take her place for her much needed retirement.

The light furies and night furies were nocturnal creatures and would come out to hunt as the sun settled in the sky. They would slit up into groups of fishing, hunting and protectors. Most dragons knew better then to attack the furies, one of the more rare and dangerous species of dragons, depending on who you ask.

It was egg season, meaning new dragons would be hatching soon. A family of light furies were waiting excitedly for their new eggs to hatch. Their previous clutch had three female dragons, two of them were white with blue eyes, and one had midnight scales and shining blue eyes. The short wings were fighting. The father, growled at them when they got to close to the nest. He was a white dragon, with blue eyes and light blue markings. He had a fin on his head, a trait of the non hidden world light furies. This fin helped with swimming as it helped more the water away from their head. Some of the light furies had webbing between their claws. They more aquatic then their hidden world counterparts.

He looked up to see the dawn of the morning. His mate flew in with fish in her claws. He walked over to her and nuzzled her gently. She purred and nudged the fish to their short wings offspring. They rushed over in a hurry to eat as much fish as their bellies would fit in. They heard other dragons call their offspring to their dens.

A mix of black and white dragons ran past their den towards their own. The black short wing went low to sneak out of the cave. Her mother saw her and growled, picking her up by the scuff of the neck and brought her over to her sisters, placing her down with them before curling around them and the nest of eggs. Her mate finished off the remaining fish before laying down next to them. Closing their eyes to sleep the day away, allowing the Sand Wraiths and Woolly Howls to have the day.

It was midday, the sun was shining down, when thousands of ships arrived at the island. The invaders, suck up the bank of the island, an island they called 'Fury Island'. Their leader was a blond man with light blue eyes, he was on a mission to wipe out the night fury species from the earth. He spent many years of his youth tracking and learning about the species. They were nocturnal, meaning they came out night, so the best time too strike was during the day.

He had scouted this island a few weeks prior, learning the islands patterns, this pack wasn't just night furies, but light furies, there wasn't many light furies out of the hidden world, so it was a rare sight too see. Some of the light furies and night furies had hatchlings together, making a crossbred between the two, some were more black where others were more white.

They made their way up the mountain where the dragons had their dens, some dragons shared their dens where others did not. The hunt was on, while the leader liked the hunt to be harder, he knew better then to wake a pack of this size. They needed to get in and kill as many dragons as possible before one woke up and sounded the alarm.

He snuck into a cave, motioning for his men to stay quiet, it was a den of night furies, there was a few short wings in there asleep next to their mothers. Some of his men gasped at these dragon, being the first time seeing the night furies. The noise, made the large males ears twitch, his eyes open, but the third eyelid was still closed. He motioned his men to stay quiet, waiting for the dragon to close his upper eyelid once more. He did so. The hunters then moved in and striked the family of night furies, killing them with one move. Blood came out of the dragons as their hearts stopped.

They headed out of the cave to see a short wing staring at them. The black light fury with blue eyes was staring, she looked into the cave seeing the red liquid pour out of her friends body. She backed up. The leader pointed to get the dragon. The light fury ran off in a hurry, heading to the cave were her parents were, letting out a loudest raor that she could muster up.

This woke a lot of the broadwings up, a lot of them were annoyed until they looked out seeing the short wing be chased. They were still dazed when they headed out of the cave, being that it was the middle of day. They came out with a growl to the invaders, going into attack mode. The short wing made it to her parents who were standing protectively in front of her.

The broad wings were calling out the distress call, waking the rest of the pack. The leader, of the hunters only smiled, knowing the dragons were still sleepy, letting out a war cry, the fight commenced.

Dragons were firing their blasts, were humans had drawn weapons and shields, rolling to get out of the way. A six shot limit, they just had to wait it out as long as the night furies didn't know that one move. They would surly win. The leader of the hunters, was looking for the alpha, take her down the dragons would be at their mercy. They shot bollars at the dragons, that would wrap around the furies body, sending them to the ground.

The old alpha, let out a loud roar, she landed in front of the leader oof the hunters. She let out a growl, she swung her tail at the hunter, he rolled over, to dodge. She swiped with her claws extended. He knew she was wise. She was a titan wing after all her age was unknown, he guessed she was getting on in years. Her being a Titan Made her larger and stronger then the others. She let out are roar, glowing up in a blue, her alpha glow. Her nostals flared light blue smoke amanced from her nose. She shot a strong plasma at him, he held his shield up the blast went though it blasting it to pieces. He smiled, and spoke, saying she was strong. She snorted at him, looking up to the sky raising her wings. He yelled out, bollars wrapped around her body. She tried to get away, her eyes went onto her den on the highest point of the mountain. She let out a small cry. He looked at her, She let out a growl, letting out a plasma, he moved out of the way.

He got his long sword, Stabbing her through the chest straight into the heart. She let out a screaming Roar. The dragons, stopped, hearing their alpha die.

The male light fury looked up the mountain, he let out a roar to his mate. She seemed to let out a nod, watching him fly up, he saw a bollar coming towards him, he rolled out of the way, letting out his final blast a the weapon, blasting it into pieces. He kept going until he heard one of his offspring scream out. He looked down to see a hunter have one of the white ones, he did a dive towards them. Coming down with speed towards them. The hunter waited on the dragon, and striked him though the neck. He chocked, the dragon landed on the ground his daughter dropped beside him dead. He heard his mate cry out. He looked at her and let out a roar what he could muster.

The female light fury looked in her cave picking up her three eggs the best she could, and called her remaining short wings, to get on, she took off to the sky, dodging the attacks, needing to get her children to safety.

Carrying three eggs and two short wings who were still a too small to fly. Was hard on her. She was growing tired, see saw an island, she did her best, but she crashed into the trees doing her best to shield her eggs and short wings from harm.

She shut her eyes, letting out a sad roar. Her two daughters went up to her and she pulled them close to her with her paws to comfort them.

They had been asleep for a few hours, she was awoken by thunder, and a growl. She looked around growling, a dragon came out, they were trespassing in the territory. She got up, wobbly on her feet. She stood over her children and eggs. The dragon came out, it was a Singetail, it was slowly backed up by other Singetail. She nudged her short wings onto her back, she gathered up her eggs, a blast was fired she used her wings to block the attack. Rain started to fall, she lifted off into the sky. A blast came at her, she dropped one of her eggs over the ocean, she dived down, another blast blocked her as the egg fell into the ocean currents. She let out a sad cry, trying again, the Singetails Went towards her, being too tired to fight, she painfully flew away leaving her unhatched hatchling to its fate.

She kept flying until she made it to the hidden world, when she arrived, her wings gaved out, two light furies caught her, a rumble horn, caught her short wings and two terrible terrors caught an egg each, they took her to an empty den, laying her down. Before going to get them some food and water. She only laid there, closing her eyes to finally rest.

Days later a man from an island south west from Berk, miles away, he was out fishing for his family. He pulled his line up out of the water, a bunch of fish came out, he pulled it in, he smiled seeing that the fish should do them for a while. He saw a white egg among the fish. He opened the net out, moving the fish, to the egg, it was cold with the smallest amount heat coming off it, he grabbed his extra shirt and basket before wrapping it up, and placing it into the basket to kept it safe before moving the fish into the other baskets.

Hey I know I haven't written in a while, this is nightlights story, its only the beginning, it wont be a long book, but will have long chapters, it will go up until he meets hunter :)

I been busy with work and was waiting for my keyboard for my iPad, i got for Christmas, but things came up and stuff.
