Chapter 4- Tea Party Time!

"Hey, Fumikage?" You awkwardly walked up to the bird boy, who was reading.
"Yes?" He closed his book and looked up to you, and Dark Shadow coming out to wave at you. You cleared your throat and scratched your neck.

"Could you, watch over Eri while I go get apples?" You asked him. He paused and stared at you for a moment.
"You know how kids treat me, little demons in their window souls," Tokoyami sighed sadly.

"Hey, if I know any kids that don't care what you look like, it's Eri and Kota, and she needs a knight in the shadows," You smiled at him softly. Before he spoke again, Dark Shadow butted in.
"We can do it (Y/N)!" You can count on us!" They said with their thumbs up. Your eyes lit up and you hugged both of them.

"Thank you so much! I'll be back before you even know it!" You told them as you took off before Tokoyami could talk.
"You simp," He glared at Dark Shadow, who merely shrugged.
"Hey, you're just a wimp to say yes to her," Dark Shadow argued while crossing their arms.

"Fine, but I will not be participating in anything that is forbidden in the darkness of realms," Tokoyami explained as Dark Shadow nodded and went back into his back.

He got up from the couch and made his way to your room, opening it to see Eri with Mr. Duckie and a tea set. She looked at Tokoyami and gave him a smile.
"Are you the bird boy mommy said that you'll watch over me?" She asked him. Tokoyami froze and stared at her.

"Uhhh, yes," He mumbled. Eri nodded and stood up, showing a pink cat sweater and a pink skirt with Mr. Duckie having a small tiara on his head.

"Do you want some tea?"

You ran back into the dorms as it started to rain and you made it just in time to save the food.
"Hey (Y/N)! You made it!" Mina smiled and waved at you from the kitchen.
"Yep, it feels like it's not going to stop until morning," You told her setting the food down.

"I'm going to my dorm, see ya," She blushed and waved as you went through the hallway to your dorm.
"Fumikage, you in there?" You opened your door and saw something you thought you'll never see.

Tokoyami was sitting with Eri at a small table, with her tea set and cookies. Dark Shadow was holding a teacup and Tokoyami had a tiara on his head with a pink tutu aw well. His eyes widen in fear as he stared at you as Eri waved.

"Hi mommy!" She smiled brightly. You gave a slight chuckle and placed your hands on your hips.
"Fumikage, I never knew you like stuff like this," You joked as he felt very embarrassed, right in front of you out of everyone.

"Don't... say anything... to anyone.... please..." He mumbled while hiding his face with the tiara. You walked towards them sat down with them. You pushed the tiara back on his head and you smiled softly at him.
"I won't, it'll be our secret. A Dragon's promise," You held up your hand. He gave a small laugh and grabbed a cup.

"Would you like some tea mommy?" Eri asked you.
"Not a fan of tea, but I'll drink anything for you my sweet child," You said, making her giggle. Mr. Duckie was eating some cookies as Tokoyami longingly stared at you.
