Your POV

Right now I'm flying through the air just feeling the wind... Ok as much as I love being in the air I need to land otherwise, I'll crash.

Already knowing my landing strategy I let out my wings and safely fly to the ground.

I put my wings away.

(Y/N): (smirks) God I love being a dragon.

I start walking trying to look for a partner.

Using my enhanced hearing I listen to the sounds of the forest and all I hear is the usual; chirping birds and the wind hitting the trees.

Growl!

I stop and I look to my left and saw a pack of five Beowolves.

They all surrounded me and I took out Zar'Roc and Brisingr and I took a stance.

(A/N): Brisingr is in your right hand and Zar'Roc is in your left.

(Y/N): Bring it!

One Beowolf lunged swiping its claw at me. I ducked, plunging Brisingr in it's neck and did a downward slash with Zar'Roc decapitating the wolf-like creature.

I look to see the entire pack charging at me.

I press the buttons hidden on the grips of both of my swords, and they both lit up their element (Brisingr blue fire and Zar'Roc red lighting).

I slashed, sending two sword beams splitting two Beowolves in half.

One Beowolf snuck up behind me but I was too late to reac  It locked its jaws on my left shoulder.

I stood there with no sign of pain on my face.

In your head...

(Y/N): FUUUUUUUCCCCKKK!!!!

Okay back to reality...

I pull it off of me throwing it to the ground.

I lift up right foot and then slammed it down crushing it's skull.

I glance at my shoulder to see it's already healed.

I look to see the last one looking at me in fear but it still had a bit of courage left to charge at me.

I sheathe both of my swords and I light my right fist on fire.

The Beowolf lunged at me and I reel back my fist.

(Y/N): HELLFIRE SMASHER!!!

I punch the Beowolf in the face causing its head to explode.

I look at the carnage I caused and all the corpses turned into dust.

(Y/N): (crosses arms) Man, I'm bored.

???: Huh you're pretty good.

I turn to see an old friend of mine named Hitomi Uzaki.

(Y/N): Thanks and you are?

Hitomi: The names Hitomi you?

(Y/N): Draco.

We both stand there in awkward silence and I'm making sure I'm not looking at anything else but her eyes.

She speaks.

Hitomi: So are we teammates now? I can't tell with that damn helmet on your head.

(Y/N): (thoughts) That's what you're worried about? Aren't you worried that I'm ogling you? (reality) Yep, we're teammates now.

Hitomi: Cool, just don't get in my way and we'll get along just fine.

(Y/N): Right (thoughts) Still hotheaded as always.

We then make our way to find our relics and hopefully our new teammates.

Timeskip Still your POV

We finally made it to the temple and there I see my sister Yang and her new partner Blake.

Yang: Oh hey Draco glad to see you made it.

(Y/N): Same here Yang (looks at Blake) fancy seeing you again.

Blake: I agree.

Yang: You two know each other?

(Y/N): Not really she helped me with Ruby's "Weiss problem" yesterday. But anyway enough of that as you heard the names Draco and you are?

Blake: Blake.

(Y/N): Nice to meet you (points to Hitomi) this is my partner Hitomi.

Yang: Nice to... meet... you?

She says looking at Hitomi's choice of clothing.

Hitomi: What?

Yang looks at me and I just shake my head and she nods and she looks back at Hitomi.

Yang: Anyway I'm Yang-

Hitomi: (walks past Yang) Don't care what are we looking for again?

Yang grits her teeth in anger and was about to say something until I put a hand on her shoulder.

(Y/N): Let it go Yang it ain't worth it.

Yang takes a deep breath and she calms down.

Yang: Some partner you got there.

(Y/N): Yeah I'll talk to her later.

We all walk up to the temple and we see chess pieces on pedestals.

Blake: Chess pieces?

Yang: Some of them are missing. Looks like we weren't the the first ones here.

Blake: Well... I guess we should pick one.

All of a sudden we hear movement in the bushes.

We all prepare to grab our weapons and Hitomi takes a stance

We calmed down seeing the two figures emerge from the bushes.

One being a well endowed girl with a childlike face like Ruby's with purple eyes and medium length brown hair tied up into two large twin tails. She is wearing a orange one-piece outfit with orange boots and has a glove on her left hand but not on her right hand which is holding a hammer and resting it on her right shoulder. She also has a serpent tattoo on her left outer thigh.

Next to her is a wolf faunus girl with long orange/brown hair and red eyes. She is wearing a pink shirt with purple trim, black pants with matching cuff trim, a red silk sash, a light Blue/Cyan anklet on her right ankle, cow leather shoes.

They both saw us and the girl with purple eyes smiled.

Diane: Hi there! I'm Diane it's nice to meet some friendly faces.

Holo: I'm Holo Diane's partner.

(Y/N): Nice to meet you I'm Draco (gestures to Hitomi) this is my partner Hitomi.

They both look at Hitomi's outfit and she catches them.

Hitomi: (glares) What are you guys looking at?

Diane & Holo: (sweatdrop) Nothing.

Yang: A-Anyway I'm Yang!

Blake: Blake.

Diane: Nice to meet you.

We all go up to the podiums to pick a chess piece.

Yang looks at a white knight chess piece and picks it up.

Yang: (to Blake) How about a cute little pony?

Blake: (smiles) Sure.

While their doing that me and the three girls look for our chess pieces.

I feel some tap my shoulder and I see Hitomi smirking.

(Y/N): (raises eyebrow) What?

She points to one of two dragon chess piece.

Diane and Holo saw the chess pieces and they went star eyed.

Diane & Holo: Oooooooo!!!

(Y/N): (smirks) Oh hell yes!

I pick up one chess piece and Diane picks up the other one.

Diane: (smiles) Well it looks like we're a team now huh?

(Y/N): Looks like it.

All of a sudden we hear a very girly scream.

Yang: Some girls in trouble! Guy's do you hear that? What should we do?

Before I respond I hear something falling from the sky.

I look up to see a falling Ruby.

Ruby: HEADS UUUUUPPPPP!!!

Before she hits the ground Jaune crashes into her to a tree.

Blake: Did your sister just fall from the sky?

Yang: I-

We hear growling from the trees and we see a Ursa emerge.

The bear-like Grimm was thrashing around trying to fight something and I see the ginger-haired girl from this morning.

Ginger-haired girl: Yeehaw!

The Ursa fell to the ground dead and the girl rolls off of it.

Ginger-haired girl: Aww. It's broken

I see the ninja-guy catch up to the girl and he seems to be out of breath.

Ninja-guy: Nora? Please (pants) don't ever do that again.

He looks to see the girl that I now know as Nora is no longer on top of the dead Grimm.

We turn to see her by a white rook piece.

Nora: Ooooo.

She picks up the chess.

Nora: (singing) I'm Queen of the castle, I'm Queen of the castle!

Ninja-guy: NORA!!!

Nora: Hehehe, coming Ren!

(Y/N): (thoughts) Well at least I know their names now.

Diane: Did that girl just ride in on a Ursa?

Yang: I-

All of a sudden we Pyrrha getting chased by a Death stalker.

Then we see Ruby land on the ground.

Yang: Ruby?

Ruby: Yang!

Just when they were about to hug it out Nora got in between them.

Nora: Nora!

The Deathstalker is still chasing Pyrrha.

Blake: Did she just run all the way here with a Deathstalker on her tail?

(Y/N): (thoughts) 3... 2... 1...

Yang: Grrrrr! (semblance activates) I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something crazy happens again?!

During those two seconds Ren caught up with us and then Nora lifts up a portion of my helmet only enough to see my nose and mouth and she booped my nose and puts it back down giggling and I have a confused face.

Ruby: Um... Yang?

We all looked up to see Weiss hanging on for dear life on the talon of a Nevermore.

Weiss: How could you leave me?!

Ruby: I said jump.

Blake: She's gonna fall.

Ruby: She'll be fine.

Ren: She's falling.

He's not wrong she is falling.

(Y/N): (let's out wings) I got her!

I took off into the air flying. I caught her and I landed to the ground carrying Weiss bridal style.

Weiss: (blushes) Uuuumm?

I put her down on her feet.

(Y/N): Hold that thought.

I put both of my arms out and I caught Jaune.

Jaune: Thanks Draco.

(Y/N): Were you trying to catch Weiss?

Jaune: Yes.

(Y/N): In the air with not being able to land because you have her in your arms?

Jaune looks down shame.

Jaune: Yeah it looked like a good idea in my head.

I put him down on his feet.

(Y/N): Well, glad to know everyone is okay.

Then Pyrrha gets thrown to the ground in front of us.

(Y/N): Almost everyone.

Yang: Great! The gang's all here! Now we can die together!

Ruby: Not if I can help it!

Ruby let's out a war cry and charged at the scorpion like Grimm.

Yang & (Y/N): Ruby, wait!

She fired her Crescent Rose propelling her towards the Deathstalker and the two meet it swipes its claw knocking Ruby to the ground.

She gets up.

Ruby: D-Do-Don't worry! Totally fine!

She turns and shoots the Grimm and starts running with the Grimm on her tail.

Yang starts running.

Yang: Ruby!

Caw!!!

I looked up to see the same Nevermore from earlier.

It flapped its wings shooting sharp pointed feathers that got caught on Ruby's cape and prevented Yang from getting to her.

Yang: Ruby get out of there!

Ruby is trying to pull her cape free.

Ruby: I'm trying!

Then the Deathstalker came up to Ruby and raised its stinger getting ready to stab her.

All of a sudden an old memory came to me.

Flashback
Tai: No matter what I love you son never forget that (cough) take care of your mother and sisters okay?

I nodded as tears ran down my eyes.

Tai: (weak smile) That's my boy.

He closed his eyes drawing his final breath.

(Y/N): DAAAAAAAAD!!!

Present day

The air around me gets hot as I activate my Dragon's Rage and dashed towards the Deathstalker.

I grabbed the stinger just as it was about to stab Ruby.

Ruby: (Y-Y/N)?

I look at Ruby in confusion until I realized my helmet disappears when I activate my Dragon's Rage.

I kicked the Deathstalker away from us and before it got the chance to retaliate it got covered in ice.

Weiss: You are so childish.

I look to see it was Weiss.

Ruby: Weiss?

Weiss: And dimwitted, and hyperactive. And don't get me started on your fighting style. And I suppose, I can be a bit... difficult. But if we're going to do this we're going to do this together. So if you quit trying to show off I'll be... nicer.

Ruby: I'm not trying to show off. I want you to know that I can do this.

Weiss: You're fine.

I sighed deactivating my Dragon's Rage.

(Y/N): Glad to know you're okay-

I get cut off by Ruby hugging me for dear life.

Ruby: (crying) I missed you!

I smiled and I hug her back.

(Y/N): I missed you too.

Yang: (Y/N)?

I turned to see Yang with tears streaming down her face.

I put out one of my arms and she rushed towards me and also hugs me for dear life.

Yang: You're here!

I chuckle with a few years running down my eyes.

(Y/N): I'm here.

We hug for a little longer and then we separate from each other.

Weiss: Umm?

We look to see the rest of the guys looking at us with shocked faces.

Jaune: Draco is that you?

(Y/N): Yep.

Blake: (to Ruby and Yang) You two know him?

Ruby: (smiles) Yep he's our brother.

Everyone: Brother?!

I do a two fingered salute.

(Y/N): (Y/N) Xiao Long at your service.

They look at me and then at Yang.

Pyrrha: You don't look alike.

(Y/N): I'm adopted.

Pyrrha: Oh.

Caw!!!

That damn Nevermore is back.

Jaune: Guys, that things circling back.
What are we going to do?

Weiss: Look, there's no sense in dilly-dallying. Our objective is right in front of us.

Ruby: She's right. Our mission is to grab an artifact and make back to the cliffs. There's no point in fighting these things.

Jaune: Run and live. That is an idea I can get behind.

Hitomi: Screw that! I can take them on no problem.

Weiss: Are you crazy!

(Y/N): Don't be stupid Hitomi we need to focus at the task at hand.

She glares at me.

Hitomi: Who died and made you leader?

(Y/N): Hitomi...

Ruby & Yang: Uh-oh.

Hitomi: Your not the boss of me what makes you think you can-

I cut her off by getting up in her face giving her a hellish glare.

(Y/N): (menacingly) Move it. Hitomi.

Hitomi and just glare at each other for a few moments.

Hitomi: Tch (walks away) Whatever.

My face softens up.

Holo: She's going to be a problem you know?

(Y/N): I'll deal with her.

The Deathstalker begins to break free from the ice.

Ren: Time we left.

Ruby: Right. Let's go!

Everyone begins running but me and Yang.

Blake stops.

Blake: What is it?

Ruby climbs up on a rock and makes an epic pose before continuing on.

Yang: Nothing...

Yang and Blake run off and I'm still standing there. My focus wasn't on Ruby but on Hitomi who was still bitter about our argument.

(Y/N): (sighs) You haven't changed a bit Hitomi and that's what worries.

I then begin running for the cliffs with the others preparing for the fight ahead of us.

Time to unleash the Dragon.
