Your POV

I'm at my locker grabbing both of swords and strapping them to my back.

I turn to see a ninja looking guy with a magneta streak in his hair and a very energetic ginger-haired girl.

(Y/N): (thoughts) That girl is very energetic... I like her.

I turn to see Ruby and Yang getting ready so I decided to say hi.

(Y/N): Hey Ruby.

They both turn to me

Ruby: Oh! Hey Draco!

Yang: So you're Draco?

(Y/N): Yep and you are?

Yang: Yang Xiao Long, Ruby's sister.

(Y/N): Let me guess half-sisters?

Yang: Yep!

We see the ninja guy and the ginger girl walk past us.

Ruby: Wonder what those two were so worked up about.

Yang: Oh, who knows... So! You seem awfully chipper this morning.

Ruby: Yep! No more awkward small talk or 'getting to know you' stuff. (takes Crescent Rose out of her locker) Today I get to let my sweetheart do the talking.

She pets Crescent Rose and sighs happily.

(Y/N): Well, remember Ruby, you're not the only one going through initiation.

Yang: He's right. If you want to grow up, you're going to have to meet new people and learn to work together.

Ruby: Ugh, you sound like our moms!
Okay, first of all what does meeting people have to do with fighting? And secondly, I don't need people to help me grow up. I drink milk!

Yang: But what about when we form teams?

Ruby: (nervously) Uhm, I don't know, I-I'll just be on yours or Draco's team or something...

Yang brings her hair over her shoulder and starts stroking it.

Yang: Maybe you should try being on someone else's team?

Ruby: My dearest sister Yang, are you implying that you do not wish to be on the same team as me?!

Yang: W-What?! No! Of course I do, I just thought... I don't know, maybe it would help you break out of your shell!

Ruby: What the?! I don't need to break out of my shell, that's absolutely-

Jaune: Ridiculous!

Jaune suddenly walks past with a map in his hands looking lost.

Jaune: There's no way I put my gear in 636 yesterday?! I would've remembered to count that high! Ugh, why does this have to happen today?!

(Y/N): Oy vey I better keep an eye out for him.

I turn to see Ruby and Yang smiling.

(Y/N): (raises eyebrow) What?

Yang: Nothing, it's just you remind us of someone.

(Y/N): Really? Who?

Ruby: His name is (Y/N), he's our brother.

(Y/N): Is that so? What's he like if you don't mind me asking?

Yang: He's kinda like you kind, caring, always looking out for others.

(Y/N): This (Y/N) guy sounds like a good person.

Ruby: (smiles) Yeah he is.

I smiled under my helmet. I turned to see Jaune talking to Weiss and a redhead I know by the name of Pyrrha Nikos.

Something tells me he is going to do something that's going to embarrass himself.

(Y/N): Goddamnit! I'll see you two after initiation I gotta go stop Jaune from embarrassing himself.

Ruby: Later Draco!

Yang: Have fun with that!

I begin my walk towards Jaune and the two girls.

Ruby POV

After Draco walked away I turned to see Yang looking at Draco with a curious look on her face.

Ruby: Now do you get what I mean?

Yang: Yeah, he does remind me of someone but I don't know who.

Ruby: Hmmm. (thoughts) Who are you Draco.

Your POV

I walk over to Jaune and the girls and I hear Jaune talking to Weiss.

Jaune: Don't worry, no need to be embarrassed! So, been hearing rumors about teams! I was thinking you and me would make a good one. What do you say?

Pyrrha: Actually, I think the teams are compound of 4 students each so--

Jaune: You don't say. Well hot-stuff, play your cards right and maybe you could join up with the winning te--

I interrupt him by chopping him in the back of the neck knocking him out.

The girls looked up to see me.

Weiss: Was that necessary?

(Y/N): Hey! I had to save my friend from embarrassment and that was the only thing I could think of to shut him up. (looks at Pyrrha) You must be Pyrrha Nikkos right?

Pyrrha: Hello there!

(Y/N): The names Draco it's an honor to actually meet you.

Pyrrha: Well the honor is all mine Draco.

Weiss: Wait you know her?

(Y/N): Not personally but I've seen her fights... And her being on the front of every Pumpkin Pete's marshmallow flakes box.

Pyrrha: Yeah it was pretty cool. Sadly, the cereal isn't very good for you.

Ms. Goodwitch: Would all first year students please report to Beacon Cliff for initiation? Again, all first year students report to Beacon Cliff immediately.

(Y/N): That's our que, anyway I hope we become good friends Pyrrha.

Pyrrha: I hope so too Draco.

I nodded and I put Jaune's unconscious body and we made our way to the cliffs.

Mini Timeskip 3rd Person POV

All the students are now standing at the edge of Beacon cliffs with Jaune now conscious and sa little bitter about what you did earlier. Oh well he'll get over it.

Now Headmaster Ozpin and Headmistress Glynda Goodwitch are about to give a speech although Ms. Goodwitch has been eyeing you the whole time probably because you're wearing a helmet.

Ozpin: For years you have trained to become warriors. And today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest.

Glynda: Now, I'm sure many of you heard rumors about the assignment of teams. Well, allow us to put an end to to your confusion. Each of you will be given teams... Today.

Ruby: What? Aw... (scared noises)

Ozpin: These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone whom you can work well.

Ruby: (scared noises).

Ozpin: That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years.

Ruby: What?!

Nora: (to Ren)See? I told you!

Ozpin: After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path, or you will die.

Jaune: (nervous laugh and gulps)

You put a hand on Jaunes shoulder as reassuring he will be ok.

Ozpin: You will be monitored and graded for the duration of your initiation. But our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one, and return to the top of the cliff. We will regard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?

Jaune: (raises hand) Yeah, um, sir-

Ozpin: Good! Now, take your positions.

All students minus took a stance.

Jaune: Uh sir? I've got, um, a question.

Weiss catapults along with some other students

Jaune: So, this landing strategy thing, uh w-what is it? You're like dropping us off or something?

Ozpin: No. You will be falling.

Russell catapults along with more students.

Jaune: Oh, I see. So, like, did you hand out parachutes for us?

Nora catapults.

Nora: Woohoo!

You smiled at her excitement.

Ozpin: No. You will be using your own landing strategy.

Jaune: Uh huh... Yeah

Cardin catapults.

Yang winks at Ruby and puts on a pair of aviators and catapults.

Yang: Woohoo!

Ruby smirks in determination and catapults.

Jaune: So, um, what exactly is a landing strateGYYYYY

Jaune catapults.

You prepare yourself to be catapulted.

Ozpin: Mr. Xiao Long.

(Y/N): Yes professor?

Ozpin: (smiles) Good luck.

(Y/N): (smiles) Thank you professor.

You get catapulted.

(Y/N): Cheehoo!

Glynda looks at Ozpin in shock.

Glynda: Wait was that-

Ozpin: Yes that was Tai's son (Y/N).

Glynda: Then that means he's a-

Ozpin: Oh yes. (thoughts) I hope you trained him well... Ddraig.
