Dream World Your POV

I open my eyes only to see... fire nothing but fire. Any regular person would be freaking out, but for some reason I'm absolutely calm.

My thoughts were interrupted by giant footsteps. I turned to see a giant figure emerging from the flames. But what emerged from the flames was something I only heard of in stories... a dragon!

It made it's way towards me and it eventually stops and looks at me.

Dragon: All will be revealed soon (Y/N) Draco.

My eyes widened in shock not just for the fact that it spoke but also that it called me (Y/N) Draco and not (Y/N) Xiao Long, does it know who my real parents are?

But before I had the chance the question it opened its mouth and it breathed fire at me.

Real world Still Your POV

I shot up from my bed panting heavily. I slowed my breathing realizing it was just a dream.

(Y/N): (thoughts) Geez that was the weirdest dream I've ever had in my life, but it's strange it felt so real.

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is (Y/N) Xiao Long I'm seven years old and more importantly I'm the adopted son of the Rose/Xiao Long/Branwen family. Life is good with me and my family, sure they're not my biological family but I don't care I still love them.

I get up from my bed and stretch feeling the satisfying pops of my joints.

My door suddenly swings open and I hear two familiar voices.

???/???: (Y/N)/Big brother!!!

I then get tackled to the floor.

(Y/N): Oof!

I look to see my sisters Ruby and Yang .

Ruby/Yang: Good morning bro/ big brother!

(Y/N): You two enjoy doing this every morning do you?

They both nodded their heads.

???: Yang, Ruby, (Y/N) breakfast!

The three of us got up and rushed downstairs and saw our mother/Yang's aunt Summer Rose.

(Y/N): Good morning Mom!

Summer: (smiles) Morning (Y/N), morning girls.

Ruby/Yang: Good morning!

We all sat down and started to eat our breakfast.

(Y/N): So, what are we doing today Mom?

Summer: Not much, your aunt and uncle are coming over today.

(Y/N): Yay!

We all finished our breakfast and our day went on like any other day I played with Ruby, Yang, and Zwei and helped mom with stuff much to her disapproval.

Now Yang and I are playing our favorite fighting game Street Fighter with Ruby cheering and Zwei barking in excitement in the background.

I'm playing as Ryu and Yang is playing as Chun Li.

In the end I won as always.

Yang: No fair, you always win!

(Y/N): (smirks) Hey, it's not my fault that I'm the best.

She pouted.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Summer: Oh! That must be Raven and Qrow. Coming!

My mom and sisters go to the door to greet my aunt and uncle but I hid behind the wall by the door waiting for them to come in.

I don't know why but the role of being the predator hunting its prey excites me.

My mother opened the door and in came my uncle Qrow.

And my aunt Raven.

Ruby and Yang hugged them both.

Ruby/Yang: Uncle Qrow/Mommy!!!

Qrow: (chuckles) Hey you two.

Raven: Were you a good girl Yang?

Yang: (nods head) Mhm.

Raven: (smiles) That's my gir- wait minute, where's your brother?

I took the opportunity to jump out and scare my aunt.

(Y/N): RAAAAAAHH!!!

She screamed and fell on her butt.

We all began laughing and Raven had a face of embarrassment and eventually she laughs with us.

Raven: (gets up still laughing) How do you always get the drop on me?

(Y/N): (stops laughing) I don't know I guess I'm just lucky.

Raven: (smirks) Oh, is that so huh?

Uh oh I know that look tickle time!

(Y/N): (runs) No tickles!!!

Raven: (runs after him) Yes tickles!!!

She caught me and tickled me until I had enough.

Me and my sisters spent some time with Raven and Qrow.

Eventually our front door opened and in came my dad Tai.

(Y/N): Dad!!!

I gave him a big hug.

Tai: (hugs back) Hey buddy, you had a good day today?

(Y/N): Yep!

Tai: (picks me up) Good.

We both went to the living room and everyone turned to us.

Ruby/Yang: Daddy!!!

They both ran and gave him a big hug and he hugs them with one arm because he has me in one arm.

My mom comes up to him and kisses him on the lips.

Summer: Hey honey.

Tai: Hey Sum.

Summer: Listen, I know that you just came home but do you mind going to Vale to get some stuff for dinner tonight?

Tai: Sure I don't mind.

(Y/N) Oh! Oh! Can I dad pleeaasse!

Tai: Of course I could use the extra hand.

(Y/N): Yay!

He puts me down and I go and get my shoes on

3rd Person POV

Both Tai and (Y/N) left to the docks heading to Vale unaware of the threat that stalks them.

???: So this is where the last demonic dragon has been hiding all along? I should warn master Albion about this (smiles evilly) but if I kill him myself master will praise me and everyone will never look down on me ever again!

Timeskip (Y/N) POV

Me and dad are back in Patch with the groceries mom asked but as we were walking I couldn't shake the feeling that we are being watched.

Tai: You okay buddy?

(Y/N): Yeah, I was just dosing off.

He looked at me for a second but then he shrugged it off and we continued our walk back home.

Our house was in sight but before we could head inside my dad all of a sudden stops and looks up.

(Y/N): Dad, what's wrong?

I look up to see a raven- haired woman with violet eyes and a very... revealing outfit and two black wings stranding on a tree branch looking at us with evil intent more specifically me.

Tai: (angrily) Okay, who are you and what are you doing here? And more importantly can you put on some more decent clothes on I have a kid here!

Raynare: You don't have the right to make demands to me filthy human but since you asked my name is Raynare and I came here for him (points at me).

I hid behind my dad in fear.

Tai: What do you want with him?

Raynare: Simple really, I want... to kill him!

Both of our eyes widened in shock.

Tai: What, why?! He hasn't done anything wrong!

Raynare: (evil smile) Oh but he has, his very existence is a problem to my master and in order to please him I'll have to end him here.

She created a spear made of light.

Raynare: (threatening) So I'll only say this once stand aside and this won't get ugly.

Dad looked back me.

Tai: (whisper) When I give you the signal I want you to run back to the house.

(Y/N): (whisper) What! What about you?!

Tai: I'll handle this just do as I say ok?

As much as I want to refuse I know I'll just get in his way.

(Y/N): Ok.

He turned back to Raynare.

Tai: I won't let you hurt my son!

Raynare: (sighs) I was hoping you'd make this easier but if you're going to be that arrogant then very well I'll just have to kill you too!

Tai: (Y/N) RUN!!!

I started running to the house but as I was running I see black feathers falling from the sky and as I look up I see Raynare flying after me.

I ran faster but I suddenly feel a sharp pain in my stomach.

(Y/N): AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

Summer POV

I was sitting in the living room with Raven with catching up on a couple of things when all of a sudden I hear a scream.

???: AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

Raven: What was that?

Summer: I don't know but that sounded like-

My eyes widened.

Summer: (Y/N)!!!

Ravens eyes widened.

Qrow ran to the door.

Qrow: You two stay with the girls I'll go get him!

Your POV

I fall to the ground in pain.

Raynare: Huh, you're not dead yet? It seems that your stronger than I thought but no matter I'll make this as quick and painless as possible.

I feel something leave my stomach and I look back to see it was her light spear that stabbed me.

Raynare: Don't blame me for this, blame your parents for giving birth to you.

Qrow: Kid!

I look to see my uncle Qrow running towards me.

Raynare threw her spear reaching me faster than my uncle.

Time seemed like it was so slowing down with the spear getting closer and closer.

I closed my eyes waiting for my impending death but it never came.

I opened my eyes to see that the spear seemed to have pierce someone's heart and that person was none other than my father.

Tears started to run down my face as my dad fell to ground.

(Y/N): Dad!

I crawled over to him with all my might.

(Y/N): Dad! Dad?!

Tai: (cough) Hey buddy (cough).

(Y/N): (tears up) Don't talk dad y-you're going t-to be okay!

Tai: (weak smile) Sorry buddy but I don't think so (cough).

I cried harder knowing that he's right.

Tai: Hey.

He grabbed shoulder and made me look at him.

Tai: Don't you dare cry on me, you're a strong kid so keep on being strong for me okay?

I nodded.

Tai: No matter what I love you son never forget that (cough) take care of your mother and sisters okay?

I nodded as tears ran down my eyes.

Tai: (weak smile) That's my boy.

He closed his eyes drawing his final breath.

(Y/N): DAAAAAAAAD!!!

I began to sob knowing that my dad died in my arms.

Little did I know is that my mother and both of my sisters witnessed the events that unfold and we're crying to.

Raynare: Hahahaha! How pathetic to think that a disgusting creature like him would give his life to save your sorry little ass. Oh well it makes my job a little easier-

(Y/N): Shut up!

She raised her eyebrow.

(Y/N): I SAID SHUT UUUUUUUPPPP!!!

I yelled as fire bursted from my body and into the air.

3rd Person POV

In an unknown location a large red western dragon with two red and golden spikes throughout it's body sleeping on the grassy fields.

It's eyes opened revealing its green eyes. It stood on it's four legs feeling a familiar power signature.

Dragon: It is time.

It spread it's two large red wings and took flight heading towards the source of power.

Patch Still in 3rd Person POV

(Y/N): My dad gave his life for me and you decides to insult him? How dare you!

Air seems to be getting hotter and the ground starts to crack underneath
(Y/N)'s feet as he stands away from his father's body.

Raynare is now trembling to this now unlocked power.

Raynare: N-No how is this possible? He shouldn't be able to unlock his powers yet he's still to young!

(Y/N)'s teeth sharpened into fangs and his (E/C) eyes turned into a fiery orange color with slit pupils.

His wound fully healed and adorned a dragon like aura over his body.

And he let a loud roar that mad the island shake.

He looked with nothing but anger and hatred.

(Y/N): I'll make you pay!

Raynare got out of her shocked stupor and threw her light spear heading straight to his heart but he didn't bother to dodge.

Everyone: (Y/N)!!!

But as the spear made contact it shattered.

Raynare: (eyes widen) What! How?!

He growled and an image of the dragon from his dream appeared behind him.

Raynare was afraid but not enough to fly away, she created another light spear and flew at him with an intent to stab him.

But (Y/N) had other plans and he let out a pair of wings of his own and flew at her.

Raynare thrusted her spear but (Y/N) dodged it and landed a left hook to her jaw sending her flying back crashing into a couple of trees until she stopped on the ninth tree.

She struggled to get up and as she looked up she saw (Y/N) making his way towards her making the world shake and the ground crack with each step he took.

Now she was fully afraid and now she had was getting ready to beg for mercy until she remembered the dragon code.

Mercy is weakness.

Fear was now replaced with anger and she created a light sword and took a stance

Fire burst from the ground blinding both opponents.

The flames died down revealing his new found weapon.

The angry blade that thirsts for destruction... Chaoseater.

The blade seemed bigger than him but he didn't care. He grabbed the hilt of the blade and pulled it out of the ground with little to no struggle at all.

Raynare's eyes widened at but she shooked it off and charged at him and at him from above but he blocked it shattering Raynare's sword.

Raynare created another light sword and slashed at him from his right but this time he caught it with his right hand causing it to bleed.

He slashed his blade at Raynare's stomach but she jumped back avoiding get slashed.

She dashed at (Y/N) and slashed him from his right but it was blocked by his Chaoseater but he got kicked in the gut making him skid back a few meters.

He dashed back her swinging his sword wildly. Raynare tried her best to block and dodge his but was struggling to keep up with his tenacity.

Eventually he jumped in the air then dropped back down stabbing his sword in ground making more swords pop out of the and shooting one at Raynare.

(A/N): WATCH 1:23-1:24

She dodged it by flying in the air and she raised her sword in the air creating a 100 light spears.

And threw them all at him causing smoke.

She looked at smoke and smirked thinking she won but it turned to shock as (Y/N) flew out of the smoke flying at her at full speed and grabbed her face and he spun around gaining speed and eventually threw her to the ground creating a crater.

She struggled to get up and she saw (Y/N) diving towards her aiming his sword at her.

Luckily she had enough energy to jump out of the crater dodging his attack that caused.

She looked at the crater that is now covered in smoke.

(Y/N) dashed out of the smoke not giving Raynare enough time to dodge and he stabbed her in the gut.

Her eyes widened in shock realizing that she has lost.

(Y/N) pulled out his sword and Raynare fell to the floor coughing up blood.

(Y/N) stood over Raynare glaring at her with his fiery orange eyes.

She looked at him in pure fear.

Raynare: W-W-Wait p-please mercy!

(Y/N): (coldly) You didn't show mercy to my father when you killed him. So what makes you think that I'll treat you any different?

(Y/N) raised his sword and slashed it cutting off her head.

Both her body and her head vanished in feathers.

(Y/N)'s aura faded and his eyes turned back to (E/C) and retracted into his back and he unsummoned his sword.

???: (Y/N)/Big brother!!!

He turned to see his family running towards him. He felt his eyes feel heavy and he fell to the ground unconscious.

Timeskip (Y/N) POV

I open my eyes and I see that I am in my room.

I hear light snoring coming from my right and as I look I see my mother sleeping with her head on the edge of my bed.

I shake her trying to wake her up. Her eyes fluttered open and she sat up.

She rubbed her eyes and she looked at me and her eyes widened and tears ran down her face and she hugged as if her life depended on it.

Summer: Oh thank God! (sniffs) My baby, I couldn't afford to lose you too!

I hug back and I started to cry

(Y/N): M-M-Mom I-I couldn't-

Summer: Shhhh None of it was your fault, I'm just glad you're ok.

I cried into my mothers shoulder knowing I will never see my father again.

5-months later (Y/N) POV

It's been hard for a while. Mom went into depression, Ruby and Yang weren't their usual cheery selves, Raven didn't speak to any of us (even Yang) for a while, and uncle Qrow drank even more than he usually did.

Don't get me wrong it hurts and it's been hard for me too but I didn't let it get to me as much as they did because I know that's not what dad would've wanted.

So I spent the past five months cheering everyone up. Mom's back to her original self, Ruby and Yang are smiling again, Raven's spending more time with us maybe even more than usual so much that she decided to move in, and uncle Qrow is still drinking but not out of sadness (it's Qrow what did you expect?).

And not only that but mom, aunt Raven, and my sisters sleep in my bed with me every night, I wonder why?

Everything has been good ever since. But little do I know today my life changes forever.

Me, Ruby, and Yang are walking home with aunt Raven after she picked us up from school.

I opened the door and we all stepped inside.

Raven: We're home!

My mom comes out of the living room having a smile on her face.

(Y/N): What are you so happy about?

Summer: Go to the living room and see for yourself there's someone who wants to see you (Y/N).

I raised an eyebrow in confusion.

I put down my backpack and I go to the living room and I see a man who looks to be in his twenties with bright red hair and green eyes wearing a white collared shirt with a blue tie.

He looked at me and he smiled.

???: At last we finally meet (Y/N).

My eyes widened.

(Y/N): H-How do you know my name, and who are you?

Ddraig: My name is Ddraig and to how I know you're name. Well it's an uncles job know the name of his nephew.

My eyes widened in shock.

I was a little skeptical at first but my gut is telling me to trust him.

Ddraig: I know you have questions and I'll be glad to answer them.

I sit on another couch on the other side of the table in the middle of the living room.

Ddraig: (sadly) Your mother told me what happened, I'm sorry for your lost.

(Y/N): (looks down in sadness) Thanks.

I think about what I wanted to ask until I finally came up with a question.

(Y/N): I have thought about this question for a long time and it's regarding my real parents.

Ddraig: You want to know who they are?

I nodded.

Ddraig: Your fathers name is Marcus Draco and your mother's name Alana Agnidev.

(Y/N): Okay, but... what I really want to know is why did my parents leave me.

Ddraig remained silent.

(Y/N): Do they not love me?

Ddraig: Of course they did, they loveed you more than anything.

(Y/N): Then why-

Ddraig: To protect you.

My eyes widened.

(Y/N): W-W-What do you mean?

Ddraig: That evil woman who attacked you five months ago she works for the same people who killed your parents.

That hit me like a ton of bricks. My real parents were dead the entire time?

I feel the air around me start to heat up as my anger growed.

Ddraig: So I was right you have unlocked your power, (smiles) at such a young age too.

I calmed down and I looked at him in confusion.

He summoned a mirror out of thin air and gave it to me.

Ddraig: See for yourself.

I looked into the mirror and saw that my face looks completely normal except for my eyes which are now bright orange instead of my usual     (E/C) eyes with and my pupils have turned into slits.

I have a look of fascination on my face.

Ddraig: (Y/N). What I'm about to tell you is going to be a shock to you.

I looked at him in anticipation.

Ddraig: The truth is (Y/N) you're not human, in fact you were never human to begin with.

(Y/N): What am I then?

Ddraig: You.......

....... are a Demonic Dragon.
