3rd pov

Vale was in a complete chaos, Grimms and the white fang were all over the place,  the hunters were fighting them as the citizens escaped on bullheads.

Pyrrha Nikos, a famous worrior was on her knees, defeated by Cinder Fall, who had stolen the fall maidens power. As Cinder was preparing to shoot Pyrrha with a bow, the heat suddenly started rising, causing Pyrrha to faint while she looked around tying to find the source of the heat.

Ruby was running up the tower, but suddenly started falling.

Ruby: "Huh?"

Ruby shot few rounds with her Crescent Rose to slow down her fall.

Weiss Schnee just killed the last grimm remaning near the tower and turned around towards the tower and noticed her partner landing.

Weiss: "Ruby? What are doing back down here? Shouldn't you be helping Pyrrha fight that Cinder woman?"

Ruby: "I was almost at the top but your glyphs stopped working suddenly and I fell!"

Weiss: "That's impossible, there's no way my glyphs just stop working"

Weiss looked at the tower and saw her glyphs still on the wall, but they were... melting??

Ruby: "Uh, Weiss? Is it just me or are your glyphs melting?"

Weiss was speechless seeing her glyphs like that. It was the first time she has ever seen that happen. She then started sweating as the heat increased once more.

Weiss: 'Somethings wrong, there's no way my glyphs just starts melting and this heat, it just started raising for no reas-'

Her thoughts were interrupted as the ground starts shaking a bit.

Weiss: "Ruby we need to get out of here"

Ruby: "But-"

Weiss: "I know you want to help Pyrrha but we have to get out of here"

Ruby: "No! I'm not leaving without Pyrrha!"

Ruby ran to the tower but stopped as the little earthquake got stronger and caused the tower to start collapsing. Ruby soon ran to Weiss, grabbing her hand and ran as far as she can using her semblence.

Back at the top, Pyrrha and Cinder where in panic. The grimm dragon flew near the tower and Cinder soon used her powers to help her get on it's head. Pyrrha used the remaining of her strength to move one of the gears near and stood on it as she made it slowly float down.

Ruby and Weiss who were at a safe distance from the tower soon noticed a big gear gentely floating down. Ruby ran towards the direction it was going. And soon saw Pyrrha on it.

Ruby: "Pyrrha!"

Pyrrha heard her friend calling her name and soon landed.

Ruby: "Pyrrha! Are you okay?"

Pyrrha: "Yes I am- *starts falling*"

Ruby: *catches her* "No you're not, I will help you go back to the others"

Pyrrha just nods as she is too tired to answer. They walked back and soon met Weiss who was panting from trying to catch up with Ruby.

As the three were walking. A loud roar was coming from above the clouds. They looked up and soon noticed a big dark shadow.

Cinder was also looking at it on top of the grimm dragon. Then a huge lizard like beast came out. It was mostly covered in dark red scales with few black ones, it's under side was beige, it had huge bat wings on it's back. The giant beast was flying towards her and the grimm dragon. Glaring at them with bright reptilian eyes. The heat coming from it made it felt like the sun itself has came down. Suddenly the beast unleashed a huge amount of fire towards the grimm dragon, who barely dodged.

Back with Ruby and the other two. They were staring at the beast with wide eyes with a hint of fear in them.  They have never seen a monster like it before. Of course it resembled the grimm dragon but was a lot larger and didn't look like a grimm in any way.

Ruby: "What... what is that thing?"

Weiss: "I don't know but let's hope it doesn't notice us"

Pyrrha and Ruby nodded in agreement. As they continue to stare at it.

Ruby's pov

The huge beast's fists get covered in fire and punches the grimm dragon to the ground. Despite being far away from it I was still able to feel a huge amount of heat from the fire that was covering it's fist.
It roared another huge breath of fire at the grimm, and caused an explosion that blew me and the others off of our feet and caused me to lose consciousness...
