"Are they arriving soon?" The silver-haired teen questioned the older woman standing next to her, eyeing the crowd of people coming out of the Sendai station. While getting closer to the rainy season of June, the weather that day was surprisingly crisp, the sun finally breaking through the grey clouds that loomed in the sky for the last few days.

Minako hummed, eyeing her wristwatch as she nodded, "the bullet train should arrive in a couple of minutes, and it'll probably take about five minutes to walk over here. Has Kouga texted you?" The older woman questioned as she checked her own phone to see if her husband had given her a message. She sighs when she sees no verbal texts. But a small fond smile pulls on her face as she sees that Hiroto had sent her a picture of Minato sleeping beside the bullet train window, the sun rising up between mountains.

Chiaki nodded, scrolling through her phone as she leaned against her mother's car, "yeah, Kou-nii and Tai-nii parked their car and are heading over here right now," the teen comments looking around. Just as she does, she catches sight of the tall twins walking their way, both of them easy to find because of their height.

The twins quickly approached them, instantly taking their places beside Chiaki, claiming a hand each. However, Taiga hands his mother a steaming cup of coffee, having stopped by a local coffee shop. Minako thankfully takes it before eyeing her children for a moment. Looking at their linked hands, she shakes her head with an exasperated sigh, "it's about time you boys stop hovering over Chi-chan so much and let your little sister breathe," the older woman warned, taking a sip of her coffee, the familiar bitter flavor spreading across her palate.

"Never," Taiga and Kouga simultaneously speak without missing a beat, even shaking their heads to show they wouldn't to their mother who only pressed her hand to her cheek, sending an apologetic look to her only daughter.

Chiaki only has a wry smile on her face, only partially listening to the conversation as she looks over the wave of people that exited out of the train station as another bullet train arrived. Her grey orbs brightened as she caught sight of a man who's at least a head taller than everyone else. Before either of the twins could stop her, Chiaki was running forward, letting go of their hands, a wide smile on her face.

"Nii-san!"

Hearing Chiaki's voice, Minato stops, his eyes twinkling as he sees his little sister run towards him at full speed. He stands there with a bright smile, spreading his arms open, completely prepared as Chiaki crashes into him. The two siblings' soft chime of laughter leaves their lips as Minato effortlessly lifts up the younger girl, twirling her twice before placing her back on her feet. While slightly dizzy, Chiaki cranes her neck to look up at the older male, her face crinkling to a bright smile.

"Welcome home, Minato-nii-san, how was the train ride over here?" Chiaki excitedly questioned, wrapping one of her arms around his waist, his own arm thrown over her shoulder.

Minato, a tall male with dark brown hair cut short, eyed his little sister, his light brown eyes narrowing on her fondly, "not bad, Dad nor I were that eager to wake up early, but we wanted to be home earlier, so we can't complain. I slept most of the way here. You seem to be doing well, Chi-chan," Minato's brown-orbs that were identical to Chiaki's droopy ones narrowed on her fondly as he ruffled her hair.

"Where's Dad?" Chiaki questioned, her eyebrows furrowing.

"Right here, Chi-chan. Minato, you can't just let your suitcase roll-off. What would have you done if I didn't grab it?" Hiroto sighed, sending a look to his eldest son as he walked over, holding two suitcases. The older man passes Minato's suitcase to him before beaming at his youngest and only daughter, opening his arms, "does your old man get a greeting too?" He questioned, a lopsided grin spreading on his face.

A small laugh left Chiaki's lips before she went to hug her father, the familiar scent of his cologne engulfing her with a strong pair of arms. While all his sons have somehow grown taller than him, Hiroto was a tall man himself, being 6'3 ft in height. And from years of playing volleyball professionally, he was built like an athlete, keeping most of his muscles even after retiring as a player. He looked like an older version of Minato, although his eldest son had inherited his mother's dark hair color and eye shape. However, Hiroto had light brown eyes, which Minato got from him. And if anyone saw them together, they could instantly tell they were related.

Hiroto goes to greet his wife and the twins, the couple sharing a chaste kiss with a hug, a small smile on their lips. Minato had moved to greet his brothers, separating from them with a rough hug and a pat on the back- grins on the mens' faces at the wholesome reunion.

Chiaki was positive that they must have been an eye-catching family, all of them being titans in the Japanese standard. Even Minako, who was the smallest of them all, was 5'6 ft, above the average height, which was around 5'2 ft.

"So, Dad's coming with us? And Aniki's going with Mom and Chi-chan, right?" Kouga questioned as they all calmed down, holding the car keys in his hand.

Chiaki looked at him in confusion, wondering when this was decided. She would have thought her father would want to be in the same car as her mother, but she's surprised when she sees everyone nods.

"Yeah, I already emailed Washijou Coach about our visit, so they should be expecting us. They're having training at Shiratorizawa as well," Hiroto speaks, looking at the time on his phone with his lips tugging down in a frown.

Taiga and Kouga both made a face, a shiver running down their back as their father mentioned their former coach. They shared a look with each other before they sighed, their shoulders sagging.

"Man, I already know I'm going to get yelled at by him when I'm not even his player anymore. He's even scarier than our current coach, how is that even allowed?" Taiga muttered the end to himself, his face scrunching as if he was already imaging the scolding.

In response, Kouga and Hiroto release a wry laugh. All three of them had gone through the demon coach's intense training when they went to Shiratorizawa as a high school student. Little did they know, later, when the three drove in the car, they all actually debate whether it was really a good idea to visit Shiratorizawa, wondering if they should just cancel that day's plan.

Chiaki looked at her mother and Minato with a frown as the twin, and her father waved them a goodbye, her eyebrows furrowing a bit, "aren't you guys just dropping me off at the gym?" The teen questioned, having a feeling that there was more information she wasn't told about.

"Minato and I would be watching your practice match today. You told me it was Nekoma who's coming, right? I already messaged Nekomata-sensei, and he said he's coaching this year, so I'm going to greet him," Minako revealed, smiling as she opened the car, Chiaki and Minato climbing in. At her words, Chiaki quickly remembered her mother had gone to Nekoma, having been the manager for the volleyball team when she had gone there. She was also sure she had met Nekomata when she was much younger, only having a brief memory of hiding between her mother's legs when the older man greeted her.

The male doesn't bother going to the front seat, sitting next to Chiaki, looking slightly uncomfortable as his legs barely fit in the small space of the car. When he sees the amused look in Chiaki's eyes, he lightly flicks her forehead. "I'm an alumnus from Karasuno. And I want to see Keishin-senpai. You told me he's now the coach, right?"

"Only until the end of today," Chiaki comments with a small frown on her face, silently wondering how the club was going to go with him gone.

Minato released a light snort, a knowing look flashing in his eyes, "I doubt he'll even keep whatever promise about that. Senpai loves volleyball too much. I'm sure today's match with Nekoma would make him change his mind."

Chiaki sent an unsure look to her older brother, not being convinced. But she was aware that Minato knew Ukai Keishin much longer than her, having been teammates for two years when they were in high school.

When Minako parks the car at the parking lot of the gymnasium that Daichi had sent the address of to Chiaki, Minato releases a nostalgic sigh, a small smile on his face as if he was walking down memory lane. As they walked, Minato explained he had spent many practice games here as a student, and it had countless memories for him. Having been there for the first time, Chiaki allowed her older brother to lead her to the gym.

Hearing the familiar squeaks of shoes coming inside, Chiaki peaks her silver-head, smiling as she instantly catches the attention of Hinata, who was running around collecting balls for his teammates who were warming up.

"Ah, Aki-senpai! Good morning!!!" The orange ball of energy greets, his smile was bright and almost blinding. His loud voice seems to catch everyone else's attention. The silver-haired female could feel the curious gazes on her as she steps in. She could see that Nekoma was already here, wearing a bright red uniform as they warmed up on the opposite court from Karasuno.

"Good morning, I'm sorry I'm late," Chiaki apologizes quickly to Ukai and Takeda, both males waving her off, already knowing she would come a bit later than all of them from yesterday. Keishin's bored face suddenly lit up as his mouth opened up as he pointed at Minato, who stepped in after Chiaki.

"You! Minato, what the hell!!" Ukai laughed loudly as he smacked Minato's back, grinning widely, the taller male having a similar expression. "How the heck are you even taller than high school?!" The blond male cried as he changed his slap to a punch, making Minato pretend to be in pain.

"You haven't changed that much, Keishin-senpai, although Chi-chan failed to tell me you've dyed your hair. You look like a try-hard delinquent," Minato casually dissed the male, laughing as he dodged a punch.

The Karasuno VBC and Takeda watched the two adults in surprise, Hinata looking like his eyes were going to pop out of his head as he craned his neck to look up at the tall man.

"Ah, sensei, this is Ibato Minato, he's an alumnus of Karasuno with me. We played volleyball together back then," Ukai grinned as he introduced the tall man to Takeda, who pushed his glasses higher onto his nose.

In response, Minato placed a friendly smile on his face, bowing his head briefly in greeting, "my little sister is under all of your care, thank you," he politely greets before standing back up to his full height, looking at Takeda, who seemed to be in awe like everyone else.

At his words, Chiaki's cheek flushed, but she didn't complain, smiling happily as Takeda also greeted him back with a bright smile.

"Taiga-san and Kouga-san weren't lying when they said their other brother was taller than them all. I wouldn't be surprised if he was at least 200 centimeters," Daichi comments, blinking in surprise, having seen Minato for the first time seeing as he was usually in Tokyo.

Hinata's attention whipped to his captain, his eyes wide as he heard what the older man said, "200 centimeters?!" The ginger gasps before looking back at the dark-haired man who spoke to their coach lively, "s-so tall..." Hinata whispered from beside Kageyama, his eyes shining as they all watched the three adults converse with each other on the courts they warmed up on.

Chiaki blinked and looked behind, wondering where her mother was. But the older woman was already inside the gym, talking with an older man wearing a red tracksuit, a bright smile on her face. Tugging on Minato's shirt, she motioned to him she'll be going to where their mother was at. When she got the okay, she trotted over to her mother, briefly bowing her head to the other team who followed her with their eyes.

"Ah, Nekomata-sensei! This is my daughter, Chiaki. You've met here before, right? When she was much younger?" Minako, who noticed Chiaki approaching, called her over, placing a hand on her daughter's arms.

Chiaki smiled politely as the older man laughed as he nodded, "yes, yes. She was a tiny thing back then, barely coming to your hip. My, look at her, all grown up. She looks as beautiful as you were her age, Hibarida," Nekomata sighed as he fondly looked at Chiaki.

"Sensei, I haven't been called Hibarida since I was twenty-three and unmarried! I've got far too used to being called Ibato now," Minako chuckles, the older man joining her as he apologized.

"Habits, my dear. So, Chiaki-chan, your mother tells me you're the medic for Ukai's boy's team. How are they?"

Chiaki recognized the feline-like shine in the elderly man's eyes, nodding with a polite smile, "we're still a team that was just created, so there's much to learn about each other, but I'm sure you won't leave disappointed. All of them have the passion and love for the sport," the silver-haired teen confidently stated before looking at her mother, "sorry, I just came here to greet everyone before the practice match. I need to go get changed and help Shimizu-senpai around. But please don't hesitate to come to me if someone gets hurt, I'll do my best," Chiaki smiles before excusing herself, her bag with her black team tracksuit thrown over her shoulder as she goes to the locker room to change.

Watching her leave is the Nekoma VBC. A male with a blond mohawk bit into a handkerchief in misery, a tear running down his cheek, "n-not only do they have a beautiful manager, but you're telling me, those lucky bastards also have a medic?! How is this fair! GOD! WHY ARE YOU PUNISHING ME!!!" Yamamoto Taketora wailed, earning a look of distaste from his setter, who has blonde hair with black roots.

"Tora, you're loud and embarrassing," Kenma, the said boy, muttered, looking down, his bangs covering part of his face.

In response, Yamamoto released a louder wail, "how can you say that, Kenma?! Aren't you jealous?" When he doesn't get a response, he turns to his captain, who was unusually silent, "Kuroo-san! Don't you agree to me?!"

The young man, tall with messy raven hair, hummed as he placed his fingers on his chest, seeming to be thinking, looking at the door of the locker room Chiaki disappeared behind.

"Yakkun, don't you think she looks familiar?" Kuroo Tetsurou questioned his libero, who also had a puzzled look on his face.

"Yeah, but I can't place where," Yaku Morisuke admits, a look of frustration flashing in his eyes as he crossed his arms over his chest, thinking deeply.

"If it helps anyway, her name seemed to be Ibato Chiaki," Kai Nobuyuki, the vice-captain of the team comments, having heard the conversation their coach was having with the two females.

Instantaneously, Yaku and Kuroo slapped the bottom of their fist into their palm, a look of recognition flashing in their eyes. But then their eyes widened before they whipped their head to Kai.

"Ibato Chiaki?!" Yaku shrieked, his voice cracking a bit,

"Wait, are you positive?" Kuroo questioned, blinking his eyes owly before looking at the woman his coach was talking to. "If that's true, that lady Nekomata-coach is talking to is probably Ibato Minako-san." The raven-haired male comments, having heard her call Chiaki her daughter.

Yaku and Kuroo seemed briefly starstruck while the others looked at the two in confusion. Inuoka Sou cocked his head to the side, looking confused, "who's that?"

Instantly, both third-years looked at their first-year in disbelief, "who's that?! You don't know? She was one of the training coaches for Japan's volleyball representatives for years!" Yaku gasps in excitement.

"And she's married to Ibato Hiroto, former volleyball representative for Japan for four continuative Olympics from 1980 to 1992!" Kuroo hisses, looking as excited as his libero, "he was the captain for the Seoul and Barcelona Olympics, and now he's one of the head coaches for the League 1 volleyball team, Schweiden Adlers in Tokyo!"

All the boys blanched at the information, suddenly realizing why their senpais had a reason to be excited. All of them live in Tokyo, and on more than one occasion, they have seen the Schweiden Adler on T.V. Some of them, like Kuroo and Yaku, were the lucky ones who've actually gone to live games before.

While the Nekoma VBC excitedly speak to each other, the silver-haired teen emerges out of the locker rooms, wearing a matching black tracksuit with Shimizu, the two females carrying out water bottles for their team.

Chiaki notes that Keishin and Minato are still animatedly speaking while the boys were stretching, led by Daichi. Chiaki approached them, her hand holding a roll of sports tape, the female crouching down in front of the blond freshman with her hand out.

Tsukishima's eyebrows furrowed, but he does as she wants, letting the female quickly tape his fingers, much more efficiently than what he could do if he was honest. As she finishes, she looks around, going around to make sure if her team is doing okay, helping some of them stretch by pushing their back.

"Aki-senpai, your brother is super tall," Hinata gushes excitedly. However, he winces as Chiaki forces him to lean further, his body twitching in pain as his chest almost touches his knees, "ow ow ow ow..."

Chiaki's eyes flashed with amusement before she moved to her next target, Daichi wincing a bit as the female fixed his posture, helping him stretch his biceps femoris as he laid down. Asahi almost felt bad for his captain, the stretch almost looking a bit painful and torturous.

When Chiaki is satisfied, she lets the older male go, Daichi sighing in relief before patting Chiaki's head in thanks, "thanks Aki-chan, I guess I was stiff more than I first thought," the third-year captain grumbled, rubbing at his legs.

Chiaki only nodded in agreement before she turned around as her name gets called. "Chi-chan, Mom and I will be on the second floor's bleachers, so we're out of the way," Minato speaks, having seemed to end his brief catching up with Keishin.

With the eldest Ibato son now so close, the Karasuno boys truly got to see how tall the man was, Hinata's mouth hanging open as he strained his neck to look up at Minato from the floor he sat on.

Minato's gaze moved over the boys briefly before stopping on his sister and the male standing beside her, "ah, are you Daichi-kun?" The dark-haired man questioned as Daichi nodded, bowing his head in greeting.

Minato's droopy eyes narrowed before a kind smile spread across his face, shaking Daichi's hand firmly, "ah, it's good to be finally able to place a face to the name. Chi-chan has talked about you a lot in our weekly calls. Thank you for being a close friend," the man says, seeming to be clueless that he was causing a shock for the boy he spoke to.

Mentally, Daichi was dreading having to meet Chiaki's eldest brother seeing how his interaction with the twins often led to them threatening him if anything happened to Chiaki. But he was pleasantly surprised to see Minato seemed to be much more mellow than the twins, although his appearance was much more threatening looking because of his height.

"I've also heard the twins have been a bit of trouble for you. Don't worry, I'll give them a good scolding tonight," Minato sent the shorter male a closed-eyes smile as he clenched his fist threatening in front of him. "They tend to get a bit carried away when it's about Chi-chan and if they don't have anyone holding their leash." Minato's gaze took a dark look, which made Daichi relieved he wasn't on the receiving end of it.

Daichi's eyes briefly moved to Chiaki at Minato's words, the silver-haired female having a stoic expression on her face as she sent her older friend a peace sign with her hand. Aki-chan.... Thank you... Daichi mentally weeps, realizing that his team medic had snitched on her twin brothers to their eldest to help him out.

Unknown to the three, the Karasuno VBC were looking between their captain and Chiaki's eldest brother, comparing them multiple times.

"Is it just me, but does Minato-san's vibe seem similar to Daichi-san?" Tanaka hissed to Sugawara, who sat next to him, the silver-haired male being able to see the similarity between his best friend and the older man.

Ennoshita chuckled, whispering to his team, "maybe that's why Aki-chan got super comfortable with Daichi-san so quickly."

"Oi, you guys ready?" Keishin called out to them, all the boys tensing a slight bit as their attention moved to the opposite side of the gym, glancing at the team who were looking their way.

"Yes, we're ready," Daichi speaks for the team, giving a polite nod as Minato smiles at the team, wishing them good luck before climbing the stairs to meet up with Minako, who was already there.

Keishin nodded in approval before his gaze moved to Chiaki, the said female cocking her head in confusion, not expecting the blond man to look at her. "Aki-chan, Nekomata-sensei requested you to help his team as a temp manager because they don't have one this year."

"Whaaat! Aki-san is ours!!" Tanaka yelled, Nishinoya nodding in agreement, the two second-year duo glaring at the opponent team with their teeth sharp.

Keishin sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose, "it's just helping pass around the bottles and towels. But is that okay?"

Chiaki nodded, having no problems with that. Her eyes narrowed slightly, her smile becoming a bit scheming, "I'll collect as much data about their plays," the teen softly comments, making her team sweatdrop seeing her eagerness.

Daichi has his arms crossed over his chest as he frowns before nodding, "if they do something to you that you don't like, immediately tell us, alright?" The male speaks, Chiaki nodding, although she has a feeling the Nekoma boys would never do something like that.

After a brief team meeting, Chiaki approached the team with red uniforms, standing next to Nekomata as the older man called out to his team, all of the boys obediently gathering around them.

Chiaki let her gaze move around the Nekoma team, wondering if she may know any of them seeing as she was well versed in knowing volleyball players her age. Their libero does seem familiar, Chiaki having a feeling she had seen him at inter-high in middle school. However, she can't remember his name.

"Karasuno is letting us borrow one of their girls to help us out because we don't have a manager this year. She's the daughter of one of my former students, Ibato Chiaki-chan. Make sure you're polite and don't cause her any unnecessary trouble," Nekomata warned, sending a glance to one boy in specific.

Chiaki didn't miss the said look. With droopy grey eyes dancing with amusement, Chiaki watched as the male with the blond mohawk gawked at her, his cheeks flushing a rosy pink as he avoided eye contact with her.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you all," Chiaki's soft voice chimes as she flashed them a small smile. Immediately, Yamamoto's eyes squinted as if he was looking at something bright. And it only takes a second for the male to cover his whole face with the palm of his hands, muttering something about getting blinded.

Yaku sends an exasperated look to the second-year, seeming to be a bit put off by his underclassmen's exaggerated reaction. But none-the-less, sends a nod and smile towards Chiaki, only feeling a bit nervous.

Chiaki smiled. However, little did she know, her gaze had a predatory gleam in them as she eyed the team in front of her, more than ready to collect data like a dry sponge.

🏐 🏐EXTRA (Shenanigans At Night during Golden Week: Part 2)🏐 🏐

In the pitch black, the scream of the Karasuno VBC echoed, chaos happening as they all struggled to see in the field they stood in. However, that quickly stopped, all of them flinching at the dim light that suddenly appeared, Tsukishima sending them all an exasperated, deadpanned look as he turned the flash on his phone.

They were all in various states. Ennoshita had three second-years, Tanaka, Kinoshita, and Narita hanging off him, all of them have a look of fear painted on their face. Yamaguchi was clinging onto Tsukishima's jersey jacket, looking a few shades paler than usual, which made his freckles stand out even more across his nose and cheeks. Daichi, Sugawara, and Nishinoya were looking rather fine, the Captain quickly doing a headcount to make sure everyone was here. And then there was Chiaki and Asahi. The latter collapsed on the floor, clinging onto Nishinoya's leg as he trembled his large body. And finally, Chiaki was crouched on the ground, her arms covering her head as her bottom lip trembled, her droopy grey eyes filled to the brim with unshed tears.

Tsukishima calmly shifted his phone's light, illuminating a medium-sized animal with beady eyes staring at them.

"Are you serious...?"

"Is that a Tanuki? I didn't know they really existed around this area..." *Japanese raccoon dog.

"It's my first time seeing it."

Tsukishima sighed as everyone recovered from the fear. Chiaki, on the other hand, sniffled as she walked at the end of the group, standing close to Sugawara, her arms wrapping around the third-year who patted her head.

"Noya, stop walking so fast! You'll leave us behind!" Tanaka whined, trying to catch up to the libero who now held the fixed flashlight. However, he wasn't as successful as he would like, his legs still trembling from the earlier scare.

"What are you saying, Ryu! I'm concerned about those guys more than you all! I'll go look for them, so don't worry!" Nishinoya manly states, pressing his thumb to his chest. However, he pauses, his eyes catching sight of something far ahead. "There's something over there," the short second-year quietly spoke before he was running and taking off, taking the single flashlight with him.

"Oi! Nishinoya!"

"Wait up!"

Instantly, all the boys were running. Chiaki is rooted in place, her face pale as she realizes Sugawara had also run off, following his teammates in concern. Beside her, Asahi is also shaking in fear, losing a grip of Daichi he was clinging onto.

"Aren't you going to go too?"

A silent scream left the silver-haired female's mouth as she collapsed at the voice that came from behind her.

Tsukishima stared at the fallen girl in surprise, thinking that she had known he had been behind her. Realizing that it was Tsukishima, Chiaki looked up at him with her lips trembling before she finally released a whimper. "I lost strength in my legs..."

"Me too..." Asahi whined, the man looking absolutely miserable.

Tsukishima stared at them in disbelief before he shook his head, "are you serious? Stop lying."

Asahi frowned, but he eventually climbed up to his feet, although his knees were knocking against each other. Chiaki, however, stays glued to the ground, looking broken down as she shook, "I-I swear, I'm not lying..." Chiaki whispered, looking down in shame. Her hands shook pitifully, her guts twisting in a way that made her feel nauseous.

The blond male stared down at the female for a second before releasing a large sigh. "I can't believe I'm doing this...." He mutters under his breath as he crouches down in front of her with his back facing her. "I'll carry you until we catch up to the rest."

Chiaki doesn't even hesitate as she wraps her arms around his shoulder, Tsukishima huffing as he lifts her up, supporting her by holding her lower thighs near her knees. Tsukishima mentally thanks it was dark outside because he felt his cheeks heat, her breasts pressing against his back, his hands against the bare skin of her legs.

Chiaki sniffled, burying her nose into the back of the black Karasuno jersey, the smell of detergent calming her a bit. She's clueless to the younger boy's frantic heartbeat, her own fear taking over and making her blind to everything else around her.

"You're heavy..." Tsukishima grumbled, trying to hide his embarrassment by saying snarky words. However, he closes his eyes, not being able to help but look down to his right as he feels hard scar tissues against his palm. His eyebrows raised for a second before he pauses, realizing that must be the scars that went up a little past Chiaki's knee from surgery. He purses his lips and continues to walk down the dirt path, being able to hear the loud bickering ahead. While he knew he could comment on it, something in the back of his mind told him not to, it told him if he did, he would have been crossing the line.

Behind him, Asahi follows hastily, looking around anxiously. What greeted the three was the dejected sight of the rest of the VBC.

"My shark fin meat bun! It's gone!"

"The edamame paste bun...."

"My fish cake mayonnaise bread!" Daichi yelled, pointing to the tanuki who carried his snack in his mouth before hastily disappearing into the bush.

A depressing aura seemed to loom all over their heads as they realized the wild animals had eaten all of their food while Kageyama and Hinata were arguing over volleyball techniques.

At that moment, they all seemed to realize the state Chiaki was in, Daichi quickly taking over and carrying their second-year medic who still was weak on her legs. Tsukishima stretched his back as he sent a stink eye to the female, muttering snide complaints about how his back hurt.

Chiaki doesn't even have the energy to scold him, pressing her cheek on Daichi's shoulder, just wanting to go back to the facility.

"The faster we return, I can cook something simple for you all...." She whispers under her breath, just wanting to be somewhere with a lot of light.

While the female had said those words so quietly, it reached all the hungry boys' ears, the VBC staring at her with shiny, teary eyes.

"UWOOOOO!! FOOD!"

"ALRIGHT! LET'S HEAD BACK!"

"FOOD!"

With Chiaki getting carried, they all rush back, carrying the tired female straight to the kitchen, all watching her like a pack of hungry hyenas as she quickly makes fried rice from what was remaining in the refrigerator.

As the boys quickly stuffed their mouths, a look of happy blessing on their face, Chiaki silently promised herself to not come to an overstaying retreat like this unless she had another female with her. Her brothers were right. Retreats were scary....

I loved the extra from the last two chapters. I also feel like it was perfect for Chiaki to lose her cool because of ghosts, haha! It was kinda hinted at in the last few chapters but yes, one of Chiaki's few weaknesses is supernatural things like ghosts and monsters. Haha, for that reason her least favorite holiday is Halloween and she can't watch horror movies for her life.

Forget haunted houses, the poor girl would faint. I decided to add this characteristic because Chiaki is a character who's always calm and collected and rarely reacts to things so I thought the gap would have been cute 💕

And of course, the scene with Tsukki, haha, beanpole actually got embarrassed but his salty ass was kinda nice for once.

I also have slightly bad news. This is the last chapter in my stock as of right now. My goal is to immediately go to work after posting this so I can write more chapters to place in stock during this break because I know next semester at school is going to be tough again. So hopefully, I can finish the next chapter ASAP so I can give it to \you guys in two weeks but I cannot promise anything.

Once again, thank you for reading and Merry Christmas and happy holidays! Hope to see you all next year!!!
