"Raina I heard today's your birthday."

Raina eyed at the girl.

"Yea, it is."

"You must feel special." Another girl answered as she was whisking her batter. "Not only is it your birthday but you got to be held by both billionaire twins but you got the whole class dedicating today for you."

Raina shook her head immediately. She felt where this was going.

"It's nothing like that. I don't like the attention today was purely accidental."

"Right..."

SPLASH!!

Raina felt the batter being poured all over her head. Shocked was an understatement. She didn't know how to react.

A group of students now surrounded Raina. Shock was also in their expression.

Raina felt drops of something slimy flowing down her face. Gritting her teeth she felt a slap on her curly hair.

"You don't like attention? That's too bad. I want you to feel really special today."

Raina felt humiliated as she felt stifled laughs fill the room.

CRASH!

Before she could say anything as she took a step forward she ended up tripping onto the wet floor below her.

Crap. This is so embarrassing.

Raina watched as the two Walter twins, Roy and Ryan defend her. She felt embarrassed and confused. She didn't know them on no personal level. So why did they take time out specifically for her?

Raina seemed to see how this would turn out and nudged Roy whispering.

"Tell him to drop it . I'm alright it's not that serious."

Roy only glanced down at her.

"Don't tell us how to handle our problems."

After that he took a piece of egg shells out of her hair and turned away from her. Gripping her tightly in his arms.

Raina felt suffocated by the whole thing. And the attention she's receiving isn't making it any better. The way he held her and how close he was made it so difficult for her to process what was happening. She also didn't like the fact she had no voice in how she felt.

Raina gritted her teeth as she glared up at Roy. "Let me go. I'm serious."

Roy raised a brow at Raina. As she stared up in his green eyes she felt he only stared down at her with slight humor brewing in his eyes. "So I'm supposed to take you seriously?"

Embarrassed she didn't expect him to respond to her like that. True, she never challenged anyone before, but this was different, she didn't know how to explain it though. Before she could answer he continued. "Just stay quiet Raina. We got it from here."

Raina didn't know how to feel with being told to shut up and watch. Or the fact that the way this man said her name was so smooth and comforting she had no problem in anything he just said.

What's wrong with today?

"Raina is it them?" Ryan asked as he turned to her. Raina wasn't feeling both brothers at the moment. Yet as she stared at this twin the way he looked at her was so... different. Like he was trying to read her. All he was focused on was her and her response. It was strange. All of this was strange. Too much for Raina to even want to deal with. So, she just stared at him for a few moments before turning her head the other way. She seen him silently frowned at this. But she didn't care. She was gonna get her point across one way or another.

"You shouldn't do him like that. He may not look like it, but Ryan's got a temper."

Raina felt Roy bend down and whisper in her ear.

"What does that have anything to do with me?"

Raina asked quietly.

"You'll have to get used to it, since you'll be seeing us more often." Roy answered as his fingers continued to run through her curls.

With one twin bickering with the principal and the other one hovering over her she felt her frustration at it's peak.

"Being around you both has already caused me enough trouble just today alone. I don't think we would be seeing each other again."

Raina seen Roy chuckle at her words. "What makes you think you make that decision?"

Raina stared at him. "You both are bothersome."

Raina could tell he was getting slightly irritated while he was running his fingers through her hair.

"And stop touching my hair. I don't know where your hands have been."

Raina sees a shift in his eyes as he looks down at her. Hands removed from her hair he fully turned to face her.

"You have quite a mouth for someone who's ungrateful for those looking out for her."

Raina glared back up at him. "I didn't ask you to. You went out your way just to make things worse."

Raina could see some students eyeing the two so she continued whispering.

"Never mind. Forget everything I said. After today we never met."

Roy just stared down at her as his hands ran down her arms. Raina felt herself soften slightly at his touch as she stared back up at the man with deep green eyes. His slightly rugged look suited him as he still held himself in a professional way.

He really is attractive. Just like his twin.

Raina felt a prick in her arm as she looked down to see a syringe in Roy's hand.

Looking up at him she glared. "You son o-

Her eyes rolled back and she blacked out.

Son of a bitch. Him and his brother.

Ryan sat in the backseat along with his brother staring at the scene in front of him. "Did you have to use that on her?"

Roy waved him off nonchalantly as his hands played with Raina's curls.

Fascinating.

"Surprisingly, she has a mouth. I didn't expect that of her."

"And surely you know how bad your temper gets before you sedated the poor girl."

Roy merely glanced back at his older brother. "As if I didn't see the look on your face when she denied you a response. There's nothing different I've done that you wouldn't have did the same. Remember that."

"Roy, don't get besides yourself." Ryan said as he merely responded to his brother with a similar look of his own. But Ryan himself didn't deny what his brother said, the way she ignored him bugged him greatly at the time. Being ignored is not what he expected. He didn't like that.

Both twins didn't notice it, but their eyes softened as they looked at her body.

"Feel her hair. It's so soft." Roy's voice brought Ryan back to the present.

"I don't understand your obsession with her hair." Ryan says this as he gently ran his fingers through her hair. Yet as he touches her hair he finds his fingers curling into her hair.

So soft.

He silently agreed to Roy's comment with how soft her hair is. But he found himself actually enjoying seeing the sight of her sleeping face. Mostly he found himself staring at her lips as she slept.

"That woman back there... something about her looked so familiar- Roy started as he thought about it. That Mrs. Rose. She reminded him of someone. He just couldn't put his finger on it.

"I've been thinking the same thing. Im thinking of having Mike look into her soon." Ryan answered back.

"Mother will probably have heard of this by now. What do you plan on doing with her?" Ryan heard his younger brother ask while his hands tangled into her curls that were sprawled over the seat and onto his lap.

"She won't be a problem for long. We should've handled her a long while ago anyways."

Ryan absentmindedly moved a few strands of curls away from her lips. Seeing her stir slightly and furrow her eyebrows he found the corner of his mouth twitch.

She's so adorable.

"True to that. We have to handle her soon." Roy looked down at the sleeping Raina. "If she finds out about her... it won't end well."

She won't be able to handle it.

"I know that. Which is why it's important to keep her close." Ryan said as his thumb trailed over Raina's lips. Feeling its softness made him think.

No one's gonna take her away from us.
