Soon enough you were at the infirmary. The carnivores stayed outside the door, but you were allowed to sit with Kibi until the ambulence came. They gave the anteater sedatives and he slept as they staunched the bleeding and put his arm on ice. But oddly enough, that wasn't the most peculiar thing happening. The conversation that you could hear outside the door was.

"This is a lot to deal with, isn't it? Riz sighed. "Here's a handkerchief. You've got blood on your uniform."

"You're right... I think I'd better wash it..." Legoshi patted it down and then handed it back casually. "So... You're the one who killed Tem, aren't you? You can't fool me, so don't even try. I'm the only one who knows, that you, Riz, are the one who killed Tem."

You're saying that awfully loud... Am I supposed to hear it? You thought to yourself. I never thought it would be Riz from stage crew... but he's so big... so strong... I guess it makes sense..."

"I suppose so." Riz sighed again. "That kiss you gave me ended up being your trump card, didn't it? That caught me off guard for sure. But it was for my scent."

"That was the only way I could've found you. And it actually worked, so I'm not sorry that I did it, even though it was pretty gross."

"I didn't think you would confront me like this. I thought for sure that you accepted my warning... I mean, you were tasting everyone's water bottle and I crushed and emptied mine. Wasn't that warning enough? I didn't mean to kill Tem the Alpaca, you know? It was all just a big mistake." But Riz's body was sizing up Legoshi and getting ready to fight.

"And you thought I was gonna let you get away with it?"

"You're not?" Riz flexed his massive muscles and clawed the ceiling. "Then I'll just have to silence you... permanently."

"Bring it on..."

"Ugh, I can't wait anymore!! EXCUSE me!" Pina floated between the two giant hypercarnivores. "The guys wanted me to bring Kibi's bag to the infirmary. It's such a hassle, but I also want to collect omni-baby!"

The two beasts froze as Pina went in, dropped off the bag, grabbed your arm and came out.

"Well, that's taken care of..." He held your arm and pulled you away. "Look at that, YN, those ceiling scratches are going to be a lot of money to fix. But I won't tell, will you?"

"Uh, no?" You were thrown off by the whole situation.

"Pina, YN, WAIT!!" Legoshi jumped out and smothered you both in his arms. If anyone had seen this scene, it wouldn't have looked too good. "YOU DIDN'T HEAR ANYTHING?! TELL ME YOU DIDN'T HEAR ANYTHING!!!"

"I appreciate the concern, but I can't lie and tell you that I didn't hear anything. And I can't say that Riz being the culprit is none of my business... Because honestly, as much as I love my widdle omni-baby, I offered to drop the bag off. I was more expecting some 'My hero!~" type stuff between the wolfies... but this drama is good too. That's why I didn't hide. I wanted to get a say in all of this. Well? Why don't we all discuss this like civilized animals?"
