Elizabeth's POV~ October 16, 2017, Monday 

"Hey Derick." I said getting into the car.

"Hey Beth. Have you spoken to Elise since the cafeteria?" He asked as he started to drive.

"No, she still hasn't spoken to me since yesterday." I sighed.

"I don't even understand why she's she angry about it." I continued.

"Honestly, I don't know but she probably has her reasons." Derick said.

"So did you ask her to do the project with you?" He asked.

"I did..." I answered.

"And what'd she say?" 

"She said no." I responded.

"What the hell? Why?" He asked.

"She said that she didn't want her life recorded." 

"Are you going to try and find someone else to do it?" He asked as we pulled into the school's student parking lot.

"No, I'll just have to try harder to get her to accept." I said.

We headed out the car and into the school.

It was lunch and Derick and I went up to go and get our lunch.

"Have you seen Elise?" I asked him as we finally got back to our lunch table to eat.

"Yea, she was here earlier, and I don't think she left early." He said, looking around the cafeteria trying to find her.

"Don't tell me she's actually avoiding me over a stupid project." I groaned.

"No,I'm not avoiding you over a 'stupid project'." I heard a voice say. This caused me to jump a little. I looked over to where to voice came from and saw Elise was sitting next to me, with a bowl of salad and a water in front of her.

When did she get here and when did she get that?

"Can you please stop doing that." I told her.

"Yea, yea." She said waving her hands dismissing what I was saying.

"So did you ask her to do the project?"  Elise asked.

"Yea, she said no." I answered.

 "Bummer, I know who I'm going to do mine on." She said.

"Really? Who?" I asked.

"I'm going to do it on ole'Derick here." She ansered pointing on Derick.

This caused him to choke on her piece of chicken and start coughing. He quickly reached for his soda and started to drink it.

Once he stopped coughing he said "You're doing your project on me!?" 

"Yea why not?" She asked confused.

"Weren't you guys told to do it on someone that you don't know. Last time I checked we've known each other for 12 years." He said.

"She didn't say we have to do it on someone we don't know. She said that if we wanted to full experience, we could do it on someone we know. But let's face it, I'm not an over achiever like Beth, and I couldn't give two shits about the 'full experience'."

"I'm not an over achiever..." I mumbled.

We talking about different things until the bell rang.

It was now 7th period, and I had AP Physics.

Usually I would've just told you that nothing exciting happened in the periods after lunch but I wouldn't say that they weren't exciting today.

Well, it wasn't techincally exciting, and it was only one class,but it was definetly something different.

The seat next to me was always empty, but now there was someone sitting there. And that someone was Kasandra.

Since when was she in this class? I thought to myself as I headed over to the seat next to her.

I sat down next to her and said "Hey."

This caused her to look up and look at me and she seemed shocked at first before saying "Hey."

"Did you just transfer into this class? It's been almost 2 weeks and this is the first time this seat has been occupied." I asked her.

"No, I've always been in this class, I was just skipping." She said nonchalantly.

"Oh..." I trailed off ending the conversation.

The whole period Kasandra was on her phone, we were sitting in the back, so it wasn't hard for her to use it. Occasionally I would look over at her phone screen and saw that she was texting Stephaine. Everytime I did glance though I got the same feeling in my chest that I did when Stephanie kissed her right in front of me.

What is wrong with me?

"Pssst" I heard from next to me.

I looked over at Kasandra and saw that she was pointing down at some writing in her notebook.

I read the writing and it said "I don't understand what the fuck is going on in this class, mind if I borrow your notes?"

I nodded my head yes and handed her my notebook, to which she smiled at me and started to write down the notes from my notebook into hers. 

As she was copying down my notes I couldn't help but take glances at her. She had her hair out in loose waves, with a part in the middle and the right side was tucked behind her ear. I didn't realize that her whole entire right ear was pierced, with a total of 6 earrings in it.

Cool. I thought to myself.

I hadn't realized that I had spent the rest of the class staring at her and not even paying attention until I heard the bell rang.

"Thanks again..." She trailed off, not knowing my name.

"Elizabeth." I finished for her.

"Yeah, thanks Elizabeth." She said again.

The sound of my name rolling off of her tongue, making me wet down there.

She started to walk away, and I called out to her. "Kasandra!"

She stopped walking and turned around to face me. "Yes?"

"Uhm could you-" I was cut off by the sound of a cell phone ringing.

She quickly took her phone out of her pocket, and I saw she had a IPhone X.

She held up a finger to me indicating me to wait while she started talking on the phone. 

"Hello?... Hey Baby... Yea I just got out of physics... Where am I? I'm in the classroom... I was just talking to Elizabeth... Who is she? She's the girl... Yea, that one... Yes I do have a game, it starts in like 30 minutes... I was not flirting with her... whatever I'll be in the locker room soon." She finished and then hung up the phone and put it back into her pocket.

"Sorry, but I really have to go. Is what you need to ask me urgent?" She asked.

Was it really urgent?

"Yes." I answered.

"Shit... well could you maybe stay for my soccer game. You could ask me the question afterwards. It'll only be about an hour and thirty minutes." She said, running a hand through her hair.

"Yea, sure." I answered.

"All right see you then." She said and dashed out of the classroom.

I walked over to my locker and saw that my two best friends were already there.

"Hey Beth, what took you so long?" Derick asked.

"I was talking to Kasandra." I answered.

"She's in your physics class?" Elise asked.

"Apparently." I said, gettign the books I would need to do my homework.

"Hey, would you guys mind staying for the Girl's Varsity Soccer game with me today?" I asked.

"Why do you need to stay for the game?" Elise asked.

"Well we didn't get to finish my conversation with Kasandra, so she said that we could finish it after her soccer game." I stated.

"No can do, my body won't allow me to do anything Kasandra related unless I have to. And I also have to pick up my little brother, see ya." She said and walked away.

I turned to Derick and said "Well, I guess I can stay." 

"Thanks, now let's head to the soccer field." I said. And we both headed there.
