[4,310 plus 305]

A/N: ONE THOUSAND READS?! Wow, you guys! Thank you so much! It's just... wow. I really almost can't believe it. Did I ever tell you all that when I first joined Wattpad, I was absolutely ecstatic to have 7 views on my first story? It's true. (It's also kind of sad, considering at least two of those were just me trying to make sure it looked right, but shhhh.) I'm pretty speechless right now. Thank you, you awesome readers! :DDD

To celebrate, here's a silly drabble I thought up to hold you over while I finish working on a really BIG chapter! #Ikeeppromisingit #butitscoming!

Do any of you remember those calculator tricks where you would type certain numbers into a calculator, then turn it upside-down and the screen would read a message? Yep. Our favorite Odd Squad agents have just rediscovered this lost art of communication. xD

Thanks again, everyone! Enjoy!

Oona's favorite non-Odd Squad gadget to carry around was undoubtably a calculator.

And her friends were all well aware of this. So it was no surprise to the small circle of agents to see her happily calculating away, mumbling numbers to herself from time to time while the rest of them discussed a particularly tricky case with Ms. O.

It was a bit of a surprise, however, when she suddenly looked up in excitement, interrupting this discussion with an amazing scientific discovery.

"Hey guys!" Oona exclaimed eagerly, motioning for the others to come closer before staring happily back down at her calculator.

"Here, look at this: If I subtract 714 from 6,377 on the calculator, then flip it upside-downnn... it spells 'eggs'!"

Everyone stopped to stare at her.

"That's... great, Oona," Otis eventually replied, breaking the silence.

"It does?" gasped Olympia shortly afterward, eyes wide with curiosity. "Ooh! I know! Try putting in... 1.07734!"

Oona lit up and quickly busied herself typing, poking her tongue out of the corner of her mouth in concentration. Then, she flipped the calculator over, and her eyes widened in awe.

"It says 'hello'," she breathed in amazement. "Aw! Howdy-do, calculator!"

Oscar, who had been standing beside her, perked up at this trick.

"Heh, I used to know lots of these," he recalled fondly, glancing dramatically off into space for a moment. Then, he quickly shook his head and returned to the present, eyes brightening at a thought. "Oh! Try 11,004 divided by 786!" he suggested, adjusting his lapels as he smiled.

Oona grinned and punched in the numbers, before rotating the calculator. She laughed in amazement, glancing up to beam at her friend. "Says 'hi'! Ha, howdy-do to you too, boss!"

Otis looked on as all his friends continued looking very fascinated with the distraction they'd created. He frowned, slowly raising an eyebrow.

"Is it just me, or are we getting off track?" he asked Ms. O politely, folding his hands behind his back.

Ms. O pursed her lips for a moment, then finally shook her head.

"It's just you," she replied simply. "37,773,000 plus 43,173!" she yelled loudly into the midst of other suggestions. Oona grinned, quickly fumbling to type it in.

Otis watched the excitement for a moment, eyebrows furrowed in utter bewilderment.

Then, he let out a slow breath, before giving a slightly flat suggestion of his own.

"4,310 plus 305," he muttered, looking on tiredly.
