Looking out for any thugs that might ambush them, Dimi let out a small sigh.

"So, Dimi, how're you liking guild life?" Lucy asked, breaking the silence between them.

Glancing at the blond for a second before looking back in front of her. "If I'm being honest, it's a lot at first, but after the time I've been in the guild, it's kind of grown on me. I mean, I haven't been in the guild a lot, but I can already feel that everyone is a family there."

"Yeah, I thought the same. Of course, it did take me a bit longer to realize it, but Fairy Tail really is a family, and now you're part of it."

Dimi looked at Lucy, seeing the girls warm smile as Lucy looked out in front of her. "Fairy Tail is like the family I never had."

"That's nice. Everyone really should have a family to fit into." Dimi said, making an attempt to hide the longing from her voice. Sure, she had people she considered a family, but she's always had to leave them. And the only person who was a close knit family member was most likely a few dimensions away.

"Hey, you're talking as if you're not already part of the family, Dimi." Lucy said, turning to look at Dimi.

"Ah, sorry about that, it just takes a bit for me to get to know people sometimes." Unless I have no choice, and I'm forced into a club of rich kids, but that's not going to happen, right?

"Well, you'll see with this group of people, everyone is accepted." Lucy said quietly and the two of them fell into a comfortable silence.

"Hey! People ahead, and they don't look friendly!" Natsu shouted form above everyone, causing Dimi to jump up from her seat at the back of the carriage and turn to look in front where Natsu spotted the people.

It was a small group of thuggish looking people with an obvious feeling that nothing good could come from them. Narrowing her eyes and reaching her hand out in preparation to summon something, Dimi watched as the thugs walked out in front of the carriage.

"Hey, you guys!" The one at the front— the leader Dimi presumed— shouted out, getting everyone's attention. "I suggested you give up any money or anything fancy you might have or you'll regret it."

"I think it'll be you who regrets choosing this carriage to rob." Gray shouted, putting his hands together and letting a cold frost seep out and surround his feet.

"Wizards, eh? Sadly for you, we got our magic strengthened thanks to this weird dark creature."

At that, Dimi tensed up, she watched as the leader and the four other thugs pulled their collars down, a familiar criss cross of black lines showing plain as day on their skin. "Those idiots." Dimi muttered, a glow appearing at her hand and a simple one handed sword appearing.

Before anyone could make a move, the thug brought his hand up and pointed a finger at the carriage, lightning zipping around his hand before shooting out right towards them. Before it could reach them though there was a sudden wall of ice, interrupting the stream of lightning heading their way.

"Good going Gray!" Lucy cheered.

"Piece of cake." Gray said, a smile on his face.

"The battles not over yet." Natsu added, landing on the roof of the carriage and punching the palm of his hand. "We've still got to beat these guys up."

"Right!" Lucy and Gray said at the same time.

Dimi looked at them, she would find the strong bond they had as a team endearing, but with the knowledge she now had about the thugs who most likely received 'Blessings' from The Eternal Curse.

After the wall was crushed by a giant boulder, the five thugs started running up to them.

"All right, each one of us will grab one thug each!" Erza commanded, having gotten out of the carriage to confront the thugs with the others. "Keep in mind not to make too much destruction!"

"Yes Ma'am!"

Once that was settled, everyone made their move, including Dimi. Natsu and Happy were against the thug who had thrown the boulder, Gray was against one who could use fire magic, Lucy was up against a thug who seemed to be able to manipulate the nature around them, Erza was fighting a thug who could manipulate air, and Dimi was left with the leader.

"Aw, Damn. I was hopin' to get onea those busty ladies." He grumbled, making Dimi inadvertently reach up at her iron board flat chest— feeling slightly self conscious. "Well, let's get this over with little girl." He aimed his pointer finger towards her and shot a stream of lightning towards her. "I'm gonna fry you!"

Reaching her arm up, Dimi summoned a shield to block the electricity. Once the stream died down, Dimi lunged towards him. If she was hit by any of his attacks, she wouldn't be able to heal instantly from it, so Dimi made a point to avoid or block all of his attacks.

"You might have magic, but you're still as much as a novice at using them as I am." Dimi said, bringing the flat edge of her sword onto the top of the thugs head.

"Ah! You bitc-!" The thug shouted in pain, only to be stopped when Dimi gabbed the collar of his shirt, a look of horror appearing on his face as he looked up at Dimi's enraged face.

"Now, you're going to tell me where exactly you encountered this 'weird creature'."

"What, you wanna magic boost too hun? Well, too bad, only special people get this blessin'!"

Reeling her fist back and stricking a punch to the thug's face, Dimi glared at him, knowing that her left eye was turning into a deep red, anger swirling in both of them. "If you want to leave in one piece, you'll tell me where the hell you met this creature, you hear me?"

"Damn! You're crazy!" The thug said, pushing himself out of Dimi's grip and glancing at his buddies— who were also starting to run away— "Come on, this group ain't worth the trouble!" With that, they ran away.

"Hell yeah you guys better run away!" Natsu shouted, fire surrounding his fist.

"They won't bother us again. That's for sure." Gray said.

Dimi just nodded, taking a few deep breaths before she turned to look at the others with her, only to meet eyes with Erza, the scarlet haired woman giving Dimi a knowing look, and Dimi know that Erza had overheard what Dimi said to the thug.

I'm going to have to explain things... aren't I?
