That night, Dimi was surrounded by celebrating wizards. All around her people were drinking and shouting.
It's so loud. Dimi thought, gripping the drink she had in her hands tightly. Normally she would of joined in, but her concerns about the beast roaming free damped her mood slightly.
Looking at her wrist where the shield had been, she remembered finally managing to make it disappear. It had vanished from around her arm but she had no clue where it went, hopefully it wasn't lost somewhere now.
"Come on Dimi, lighten up!" Natsu exclaimed, pulling the ravenette out of her thoughts. "Here, let me introduce you to everyone, that'll make you feel more at home!" He grabbed Dimi's wrist and pulled her out of her seat. Natsu started to drag her all around, introducing her to everyone he could. Though it all happened so fast she knew she wasn't going to remember all of the names that had just been thrown at her.
"And this idiot here is Gray! He uses Ice-make magic!" He laughed.
"Who're you calling idiot, flame-brain?" Gray asked, and Dimi looked beside her to see that Natsu was now glaring at Gray.
"You tryin' to pick a fight, Ice Princess?" He asked.
"Hey... maybe you two... shouldn't fight?" Dimi asked.
"Don't try. Once they get like this, it's almost impossible to get them apart until they fight it out, unless you're Erza." Lucy said, walking up beside Dimi with an exasperated look on her face.
"Did I hear someone mention my name?" An authoritative voice said, and Dimi turned to see a woman with long scarlet hair and some armor. Their eyes meeting, Dimi noticed her expression softened a little. "Ah, I assume you're the new member everyone's talking about? I heard you used Requip magic, like I do."
"Uh, yeah. I guess it is." Dimi said, scratching the back of her head. "I'm not that good at it yet though."
"Nonsense. I bet you're better than you think. And if you ever need some help training, don;t be too shy to ask me. Oh, and I'm Erza Scarlet by the way." Erza said, holding her hand out.
"Dimira Lamore, though please call me Dimi." Dimi said, taking Erza's hand and shaking it. "And, I might take you up on that offer sometime."
"Good, I look forwards to it."

The next morning, Dimi found herself in somebody's house. Slight panic arose in her before she remembered what had happened.
After the party the night before, Lucy had asked her if Dimi had any place to spend the night. After explaining that she didn't, and she didn't have any money as well— since she had left a special pouch that generated any amount of money she needed at the time in the last dimension she was in. Lucy had offered to let Dimi stay at her place until she was able to find a job and get her own place.
She sighed, glancing back towards Lucy and seeing that she was still fast asleep. Standing up, Dimi grabbed a piece of blank paper form Lucy's desk, writing a note to say she had gone out. Before she did anything, she needed to practice her newfound magic.
Standing in the park in front of a giant tree, Dimi took a couple deep breaths. From what she learned from talking with Erza the night before, Requip magic was a ability that allowed wizards to summon various weapons and armor at will. And if Dimi was able to summon the shield she kept in her duffle bag, then she assumed that somehow her magic was connected to all her weapons she had stored in multiple dimensions.
Taking a deep breath and concentrating on one of her weapons, Dimi felt the familiar energy rise again, and some sort of blue circle appeared in her palm, swirling rune-like symbols all around it. It wasn't long before her hand closed around the hilt of a sword.
The blade was long and thin, reflecting the early morning sun brightly on it's sharp edge. The hilt was a simple one for a one handed sword, the entire weapon reminiscent of a katana.
"Hm, that's not too hard." She muttered. "Let's hope I get the hang of this before anyone gets their hands on that best."
~~Somewhere in the Kingdom of Fiore~~
A small blob was bouncing through a forest, leaving dead grass every time it came in contact with the ground.
The creature overall didn't look intimidating, in fact it was just a tiny slime ball. But anybody who was near it could feel the dark aura that hung around it. And somebody had.
And all of a sudden, the creature was captured, suspended in an orb of magic similar to a lacrima.
"I've never seen a creature like you before, I bet you'll be a fine tool in taking over all those who don't praise our Dark Lord Zerif. Now, let's see what you can do, little guy."
