*1 year later(the gang are 20 now)

(Astrid P.O.V)
The horn sounded, we all took off. Stormfly tilted and snatched the sheep from the boulder. She flew over the net, I dunked it in receiving an uproar from the crowd. I flew past a sheep and reached out to grab it only for it to be stolen by the one and only Snotlout. He threw it to Ruffnut." Here ya go babe"he yelled. She groaned by accepted the sheep. I flew next to him and whacked him. On the back of the head."what are you doing, they're going to win now!" I shouted angrily."She my princess, what ever she wants she gets."Snotlout replied."Didn't she try burry you alive"I yelled back as we flew past the crowd."Only for a few hours." He droned. I sighed and flew off.A few minuted later you could hear the booming voice of Stoic the Vast,"THAT KEAVES THE TWINS IN THE LEAD WITH 9,ASTRID LAGS WITH 3,HEATHER HAS 2,SNOTLOUT AND FISH LEGS TRAIL WOTH ZERO AND HICCUP....is no where to be found...."he trailed off. And sighed. I saw Gobber speaking to him as I flew past. Then a louder horn sounded."THE BLACK SHEEP!" Is shouted."C'MON GIRL, LETS DO THIS!" I yelled receiving various cheers from the crowd. Stormfly retracted her claws getting ready to grab but just like last time FishLegs used the same strategy and came from under, stealing the black sheep. But this time he gave the sheep to Ruffnut." Here ya go sweet, mines worth 10!"FishLegs claimed proudly."yeah! I'm so winning right now" Ruffnut shouted with the sheep in her grasp." Were winning together!" FishLegs said enthusiastically flying next to Ruffnut. She groaned and pushed him away. I flew closely behind them without them noticing. "NO ONE CANE STOP ME NOW!" Ruff yelled at the top of her lungs." Except me! Were on the same dragon doofus!" Tuff yelled taking the sheep from her and into his lap. "Hey!" Shouted angrily. I told Stromfly to fly underneath them as they continued to argue. As soon as as Stormfly was underneath them I stood up in the saddle and jumped up to the sheep. I snatched it then landed comfortably in Stormflys saddle."ASTRID, NOT AGAIN!" Ruff and tuff both shouted. I laughed in victory. I then heard stoic say something loudly that made me blush harder than ever before. "THATS MY FUTURE DAUGHTER IN LAW" He bellowed. I flew under and around to the net, dunked it in. The crowd broke into a mix of claps and cheers. I pumped my fist in the air and laughed, the flew above the crowd upside down. Giving them several high fives.

(Hiccup P.O.V)
(Hiccup is in dragon form) Me and Toothless zoomed across the ocean. Water flicking up behind us. We saw a pack of Thunder drums swimming poverty the ocean surface.We dived underneath the dragons wings, then pulled up into the clouds. We weaves in between a heard of timber jacks then swivelled through the clouds, heading upwards.  Both of us flew straight up wards then stopped. We fell for a minute before flipping around on our stomachs and balancing out. I flew above Toothless and morphed into a human, landing onto the pitch black saddle. I gently scratched him behind the ears, he crooned in response. "So bud, wanna try this again? Maybe we won't crash this time." I ask him and he grumbles in protest. I shake my head while laughing. I sit up and slowly slip of the saddle heading down first. Toothless follows, flying down while smiling at me with a gummy mouth. I laugh at his action. I look down to see the ocean coming into view. I slip my arms through the loops and pull my arms out to my sides. I push the chest button and army fin pops out. I whoop in joy. Both me a toothless balance out. I look over my shoulder to see Toothless staring at me with his head slightly tilted. I laughed then looked straight ahead." THIS IS AMAZING!" I shout at the top of my lungs. The my eyes widen in horror at the sight before me. A very very very very very very very large sea stack."NO LONGER AMAZING,TOOTHLESS!"I shout. He roars in panic"Hiccup! Hold on I'm coming"  He shouted in terror. "Oh no!"I yell.. Toothless fires a plasma blast at the sea stack and wraps his wings around me as a protective shield. I groan when we come I contact with the ground. Toothless rolled for a while and came to a halt. He slowly opened his wings for me to leave. I quickly exit and arch my back. I look back to see the sea stack disappear into the ocean. I laugh at the irony." Just like last time huh?" He laughs as well." Yup, you alright?" He asks tilting his head to the side and staring at me with large, green eyes. "I'm fine Toothless." I drone on. He crooned." Maybe we should head back to Berk?"He asked me worriedly. My smile flattered at the mention of Berk. He seems to notice." You okay?"he asks in his usual motherly tone. I nod." Yeah, it's just. If we go back to Berk, we go back to my dad"he raises a scales eyebrow at me." What happened with you dad?" I sighed. "Do you really want to know?" I ask him desperately hoping he'd say no. But, much to my disliking. He nodded, staring at me intently. I sighed. "Well, I woke up. Terrible terrors singing on the rooftops, the sun is shining. I head down t breakfast thinking all is right with the world when I get.-"I begin doing an impression of Stoic."Son, we need to talk. Your the pride if Berk son, and I couldn't be prouder."I say in a deep voice but am interrupted by Toothless who begins speaking in a high pitchy voice." Thanks dad, I'm pretty impresses with myself to.He says while laughing his tail off. I laugh aswell." W-What is that? Who is this character?" I ask him while he continues to laugh. "Anyway..." I begins impression again." As you know, you are of age and very tribe needs here successor. So I've decided...-"I'm about to tell him but he quickly shouts the rest."TO MAKE YOU CHEIF!" I sigh but nods in confirmation. He starts to jump around me, smiling like an idiot." Hiccup, that's amazing! Cheif! What an honour"  He says loading while nuzzling into my chest. I laugh and gently stroke his head. "I don't know bud, it's just not....me"I say uncertainly. "Hiccup, it's cheif, I'd be pretty exited." He says trying to convince me. I sighed and spoke my head." I'm not like you or dad. It's not me Toothless. All those speeches and leading the village...that's his things bud. I'm still looking for mine." I say while sitting down, why legs dangling of the cliff." I'm obviously not my dad, and I never met my mother." I sighed."so what does that make me?" I ask to both of us. Toothless sat next to me and wrapped his tail protectively around me."The thing your looking for isn't out there hiccup. It's in here." He said while nuzzling into my chest/heart. I smile. Both of us are silent for a while. I squint my eyes, looking I front of me. " Ya know, there is something's out there" I say while shifting to a crouch postition. Toothless sighed." Hiccup...." I point a finger at a line of smoke fro the distance. Stopping him from continuing. He titles his head and squints his eyes at the smoke. I quickly morph and we take off. We flew over a large forest filled with dead trees and ash. I look around confused. We both swivel past some small hills and came into a vast ocean clearing. In the centre was a large piece of spiked ice with bits of broken wood in multiple places. We fly around it, I look down to see a large foot print about the size of the forge."LOOKOUT" I hear Toothless yell and before I know it a bola has wrapped itself around my kegs. Toothless quickly flies under me and used his teeth to remove the bola before I could fall."Soil my britches, those are a night a furies. Thought they were gone for good" I hear a gruff yet young voice say. Both of us touch down onto a slightly broken wooden floor. I morph back to my human form, watching there shocked faces."Hybrid" I heard a young man with tattoos on his chin whisper to no one in particular. I draw out my inferno and ignite it. I wave it slowly in front of there faces. It's funny to see there mesmerised look as there eyes follow the flaming sword."A Night Fury hybrid, most powerful being alive. " The young man said." Thought hybrids died out hundreds of years ago." He said while leaning against his sword. Toothless growls and wraps his tail around me." Oh and a Night Fury, how lucky are we?" He laughs. I narrow my eyes at him"Look I don't know what you want but we don't want to do any harm, strange person I've never meet before." I say calmly. He chuckles."Oh how rude of me. I'm Eret..son of Eret, the finest dragon trapper alive. And you blasted our fort to bits." He claimed while pointing the sword towards me. Toothless frowned louder." Y-you think we did this?" I ask, gesturing to the trampled structure. " Yes,your no good dragon rider friend." He said stiffly. I withdraw my sword and take a small step back." There are other dragon riders?" I asked him, now very curious." You mean other than your do-gooder foe, you tell me" He said a bit louder and throwing his hands up dramatically. I glance at Toothless, we both slightly nod, it was time to leave. I slowly reach out to Toothlesses saddle grip. Unfortunately, Eret noticed. "RushI'm  lads."Eret shouted and directed his sword towards me. They all charge and I quickly mount Toothless. We take off and dodge the thrown bolas."YOU WILL NEVR HOLD ONTO THOSE DRAGONS HYBRID, DRAGON BLOODVIST IS COMING FOR THEM ALL. INCLUDING YOU!" Eret shouted before we disapeared.
