The surrounding Vikings cheered as the two Night Furies landed in the centre of Berk. I smiled, recognising the larger Nigh Fury. Hiccup morphs and runs up to his dad as the cheers slowly die down. " AHHH, the pride of Berk!" Stoic shouts proudly and I see many villagers nod there heads in agreement." Finally decided to show up Ei?" Gobber asked cheekily as Hiccup walks in. Me and the rest if the group follow behind him. Hiccup chuckles," sorry Gibber, got held up." He asnwers, Toothless trotted in and curled up in a small, defensive ball in the corner of the forge. " Again?" Gibber asked as he hammered away. Hiccup chuckles and walks up to his father." Ugh dad, can we talk?" He sakes as the chief moves around the forge. The hybrid following him, trying to capture his attention."Something Ye itching to tell me?" The burly man asked while handing several tools to Hiccup." Well...not the itch your thinking of" he answered, still following Stoic. I shake my head at Hiccup in pity. He had always struggled to get his dad to listen." Could we just talk in private for-" hiccup started but Stoic cut him off with the most innocent face ever." 41! 4-" Stoic yells while looking towards the long line I'd vickings" OH Oh that's me! Hey I was in front of you!" Says a burly man. He walks up to the desk and leans in slightly. " okay, okay. I want one of those high seaters, with lots of spikes and a big wooden-storage compartment." He says while waving his arms around dramaticly. Stoic smiles," You got it!" He claims while heading towards the leather saw and tools." Ugh dad, this is actually more important than building saddles." Hiccup says as Stoic shives a small box of tools into his chest." Ugh lesson number one! Nothing more important than serving your people!" Stoic says enthusiastically while heading toward the saw," dad-" he tries again" -oh excuse me grump" Stoic says, practically skipping in exitment. " Can we please just talk?" Hiccup ask while passing the sleeping dragon,mal so known as grump." Ugh, Grump! You let the fire die again!" Gobber bellows at the lazy dragon.nGrump shifts and blasts an or. Of fire into the furnace. A spark of fire landed near Hiccup. He yelped in surprised and scattered away." That's it Grump, your going up for adoption!" Gobber shouts and Hiccup continues to try as Stoic turns the saw on. " Here ya oh, have away!" Stoic says handing Hiccup even more tools. " Yeah, but seriously. You need to hear about this new land I came across." Hiccup finally managed to get a full sentence out." Another one!" Gobber asked and switched his hand tool." Any new dragons?" FishLegs asked excitedly." I didn't stay to find out. These guys were trappers dragon trappers,
. It was unlike the usual Ho Ha I've come to enjoy" Hiccup explained and I smiled at his description. " oh really? Two Night Furies didn't send them cheering to the rooftops?" Gobber asked smugly while brushing his beard. Hiccup chuckled sarcastically. " You should of seen there fort! It was just covered in spikes of ice, Toothless said that it's the same ice the alpha breaths. But Toothless said his alpha his kind. And the worst part was, they thought we did it!" He said dramatically tho wing his hands up." Ye know, one day your gonna get in SERIOUS trouble. Not everyone appreciates this way of life." Gobber stated, replacing his brush." Aye, we best keep to ourself." Stoic agreed to Gobbers comment. Hiccup walks next to Stoic and turns off the saw finally capturing Stoics full attention. "They are building a dragon army..." Hiccup says with a blank, serious face. By now, all the surrounding Vikings are quiet and listening to Hiccup intently. "....Or at least the guy they work for, Dargo Bloodyfist, or something" He says and Toothless nods at his claim. Stoic and Gobber stare at each other wide eyed. Stoic then presses his hands firmly against Hiccups shoulders." Drago, Drago Bloodvist?" He asked with fear and dough in his voice. " Ummm, yea. Wait, you know him?" Hiccup asked as Stoic looked over the horizon wide-eyed.
"GROUND ALL DRAGONS!" Stoic shouts as we run after him down the stairs into the dragon pens." What? Why?!" Hiccup asked, while running by Stoic" SEAL THE GATES, LOWER THISE STORM DOORS!" Stoic ignores Hiccup and continues to shout orders." Woah woah, wait! What is happening?" Hiccup asked as Stoic slowed down a little, enough for us to catch up." Come on! You heard the man. Lock it down!" Gobber shouts more commands. "NO dragon OR vicking sets foot off this island UNTIL I say so!" Stoic shouts, now walking."Ei chief" Spitelout says and runs off. " Wait, because some guy you know is stirring up trouble in some far away land!" Hiccup says loudy. Stoic halts and turns to Hiccup. He places one hand on his right shoulder." Because Drago Bloodvist is a madman, without conscious or mercy. And if he's building a dragon army....gods help us all" he murmured the last part." Get them into there pens!" Stoic continues to shout orders." Aye" a burly Viking agrees. " Quikly!" Stoic says and begins to jog." Then let's ride back out there. We'll follow those trappers to Drago and talk some sense into him" Hiccup said in the calmest way possible."No..." Stoic deadpanned. "..we must fortify the island." He claims and turns away from Hiccup again. "It's our duty to keep the peace!" Hiccup said, raising his voice slightly. " peace is over Hiccup, we must prepare for war" Stoic aid with frustration and worry visible in his voice. Hiccups eyes widen" War?" He asked in disbelief." Dad, if Dragos coming for our dragons, we can't sit and wait around for him to get here. Let's go find him and change his mind" hiccup sated, his voice lowering. Stoic sighed at Hiccups stubbornness." Some minds won't be changed Hiccup. Berk is what you need to worry about." Stoic said as his usual stubborn self. "SECURE THE STABLES, LATCH EVERY STALL!" Stoic shouts and speed walked away. We continued to follow closely. I see hiccup stare at the closing door. He has that same look in his eye." Hiccup don't!" I say while grabbing his arm." I have to" Is all he says. Then kisses me on the cheek, I lightly blush. He shuffles away." THIS WAY!QUICKLY!" Stoic continues to yell. Hiccup morphs and zoomed past us."HICCUP!" Stoic bellowed at the top of his lungs. They try to fly through the side door but it seals shut before they can reach. He heads for the main door. He spins and shoots through the small gap of the door. I sigh and quickly mount Stormfly, I barley make it through, I follow him closely."Hiccup!, Astrid!" I hear stoic faintly yell as I fly away.
We soon reach a small clearing of an ocean, I notice a ship with two strange looking sails and several men on it." Keep your eyes peeked lads! With this wind, we'll reach Drago by day break! So best we fill up this ship with dragons! And quick. No time to be picky!" I can hear a man yell orders." Ugh Eret?" Says another member to this'Eret'."Not if we want to keep our..." He trails off and looks towards us."...HEADS!" He finished his previous statement. "Off the port quarter. Net em lads! Take them down!" Eret shouts orders as we get closer and closer." Up on the left!" I high pitchy voice says."Your not getting away from me this time Night Fury! Or your friend!" He shouts" FIRE,"Eret bellows. The shoot but miss by a long shot." Reload!" He shouts again."Come on reload, Incoming!" The pitchy voice said again. We land softly on the bout and I grabbed my axe. I un-mounted and Hiccup morphed, stunning the entire crew." And here I was worried we'd turn up empty handed" Eret said, while pointing his sword at us. He had strange tattoo on his chin and pitch black hair which was slicked back. I stand next to Hiccup but find myself under a net and Hiccup handing my axe to one of the crew members." Nope, it's your lucky day, we give up." He says simply while holding his hands up. Eret lowered his sword in confusion." That's one Deadly Nadder, A Night Fury hybrid and the best dragon rider west if luck tuck." He says while pushing me towards the cage in the lower deck." That gotta make the boss happy, right? Excuse us" he says pushing away the crew blocking us." What are you doing?" I whisper/yell at him, as we walk into the cell and hiccup stood in the trap door. "Stormfly stay. The Drago don't really care for cramped spaces so they'll just hang up there with you. They won't be any trouble"he claimed, gesturing to Stormfly who was a playing with a dragon fly. The trappers point there weapons towards Stormfly, she jumps in surprise and starts growling, getting in a defensive position." Unless you do that, ya know, wooden boat, big ocean. H-how's your swimming?" Hiccup asked smugly." Not good" One of the crew members say and Eret glares at him, he falls silent. Hiccups inferno then breaks the lock and he stood up again." Oh, almost forgot, you can't have armed prisioners." He said as it was the most obvious thing in the world. He handed two crew members his inferno and they inspected it with awe." How is this a plan?" I whisper to him and he gestures with his hand' calm down'. The member presses the inferno button and gas begins to leek out." Just what every dragon trapper needs, one end coats the blade in monstrous Nightmare saliva, the other sprays hideous Zipple back gas..." He trails off and lowered himself into the cage again."...all it takes is a spark..." He says cheekily and a member presses another button, creating a spark and there's a large explosion. Once the smoke whore off you could see there soot covered faces." Oh yeah! There ya go!" Hiccup congratulated them sarcastically. "Once they see you as one of there own, even the testiest dragons can be trained. Right Stormfly? " Hiccup asked, turning his attention towards Stormfly who was to occupied with the dragonfly."Gimme that" Eret murmured and snatched the inferno from the crew, chucking it into the ocean. Stormfly chased after it." What game are you playing?" Eret asked as Stormfly flew back
And dropped the inferno by his feet. He looked surprised but threw it back anyway, she chased again." No game, we just wanna meet Drago"Hiccup claimed as he leaned on the trapdoor, still standing up."Why?" Eret used, clearly confused. "Because I'm going to change his mind about dragons" Hiccup says with determination in his voice. Eret and all his crew laugh as Stormfly dropped the inferno by his feet again. He just stares at her in disbelief. I decide to join in and stand next to hiccup, holding his arm." He can be really persuasive" I say with a small smile and I lay my head against his shoulder. "Once you've earned a dragon loyalty, there's nothing they won't do for you" He explained, warping and arms around my waist, as Stormfly sat patiently next to him. Eret scoffed" You won't be changing any minds around here" He stated while crossing his arms over his chest. Hiccup lays a hand on Stormflys side." I can change yours, right here right now" Hiccup explained as he got up out of the cage, pulling me up with him. He held Stormflys saddle and gestures to her."May I?" He asked, but then a blur of red zoomed by, snatching Hiccup up into the air." Dragon riders!" A high pitchy voice says again. Hiccups yelps in surprise as Stormfly squawked and crawled up the sail post and roared, but stopped when she realised who it was.
"Ugh Snotlout, w-what are you doing!" Hiccup cries and struggles against the hold. Hookfang had on him." See how well I protect and provide!" Snotlout's bragged and flew closer to Ruff. She groaned in disgust before flying down to Hiccups level." Hey Hotcup" she whispered and reached out to touch him. I ordered Stormfly to fire at the Zipple back. Ruff yelps and moves away. I smile in victory. Hiccup finally managed to free himself from Hookfangs grasp. He morphed mid-maid and flew back to the boat. I see Eret ready to fire at the Night Fury. I grab his arms and pull it, while I shout" HOLD YOUR FIRE!" Hiccups narrowly dodges it and morphs once he touched down. I run up to him and hug his torso. The rest if the riders land behind us, along with Gobber and Stoic." DAD! W-what are you doing here?" Hiccups shouts, confused." Where e'ir to save you!" Gobber explained and landed behind Eret. " I don't need to be rescued!" Hiccup shouted in return" ENOUGH!" Stoic shouted and un-mounted Skullcrusher, walking towards Hiccup. Eret trotted up to Stoic," well you just picked the wrong ship e'i!, I am. Eret so on-" Stoic cut him off and pushed him away, by the face. He took a step back and Gibber hit him on the head with a hammer. Eret fell onto his stomach and Grump rested his head on Erets back. He gasped, and struggled to free himself." Get...this thing...of me!" He gasped." Anyone else?" Gobber asked while looking towards the crew. They all shook they're heads." Didn't think so" Gobber murmured. " You. Morph. Were going home" Stoic said in frustration."No" Hiccup deadpanned. Stoics hands turned into fists." Of all the irresponsible-" Stoic began but Hiccup cut him off, angrily." I'm trying to stop a war! How is that irresponsible!" Hiccup yelled, we all visibly flinched." BECAUSE. WAR IS WHAT HE WANTS SON!" Stoic bellowed, making Hiccup take a step back. We all stare at him curiously. Stoic sighs and began his explaination.

*Flash back*

Years ago, there was a great gathering of chieftains to discuss the dragon scourge we all faced. Into our midst came a stranger from a strange land, covered in scars and draped in a cloak of dragon skin. He carried no weapon and spoke softly, saying that he, Drago Bloodvist, was a man if the people, devoted to freeing mankind from the tyranny of dragons. He claimed that he alone could control the dragon and he alone could keep us safe, if.... We bowed to him.

Stoic explained. Snotlout and the twins laugh at the last statement. Tuff wiped a tear from his eye"Stupid" Ruff said in hysterics. " Ha, good one!" Tuff shouted and Snotlout nodded in agreement. Stoic sighed," Ei, we laughed to.

Until he warped himself in his cloak and cried" Then see how well you do without me!". The rooftop suddenly burst inti flames, and from it, armoured dragons, descended, burning the hall to the ground. I....was the only one to escape.

Stoic sighed, finishing his story. Everyone's face went serious, except Hiccups. He managed to keep a poker face." Men who kill without reason, can not be reason with."Stoic said sadly, staring at Hiccup intently." Maybe" Hiccup said stubbornly shaking his head." Hiccup..." Stoic groaned in annoyance." I'm still going to try. This is what I'm good at, if I can change your mind, I can change his to." I'm going" He said lowly. He quickly morphed and flew off while Stoic turned red from anger. I mount per Stormfly and got ready to take off." Let's go" I whisper but Stoic stops me."NO! Lead the others back to Berk. I've had enough mutiny for one day!" He shouts and mounts Skullcrusher. I sigh but nod, looking at the black dot, now disappearing.
I look towards Eret and see Ruff feeling his arm like she would with Hiccup." Oh i like that" she crooned, or what I think was a croone. He tried to move away but she scooted closer."RUFFNUT!" Stoic shouted and patted Skullcrusher." Ugh. Okay!" Ruff yelled before she kissed her hand and put it to Erets mouth. We all mount and take off.

(Hiccup P.O.V)

I stare intently at the orange clouds, it was becoming sunset. I growled before roaring in anger. I was so...frustrated with my dad. Did he want war? I sighed. My ears twitch when I near the sound of wings, it was close. I loom over to my left to see a person. I stare wide eyed as the person disappears into the clouds. My eyes dart all around me, but all I see is clouds. Then a large four winged dragon flew up and around me. The person stood atop of the large dragon. He/she wore strange brown armour and blue paint lines on the chest piece and helmet. The person helmet has spikes spiking out everywhere. It looked like a woman by the figure. The Dragon hovered in front if me, staring at me intently. I'm about to react but a dragon swoops down and held me in its claws. My wings were pinned to my sides and legs pulled up to my chest. I roared and struggled to get free, but to no avil. We flew in silence, other than my small whimpers from trying to free myself. We swirled through several seas stacks before coming to a clearing. I looked up to see a large ice structure, much like the dragon tappers old fort. The dragon flew through a small ice cave and came to a large room. He gently dropped me and flew to the Side of the room. My eyes darted around as I stood in a defensive postition. Dragons surrounded me, staring sceptically.The woman dropped from the four winged dragon and stood in front of me. I mentally smirked, then morphed. Obviously stunning the woman. I crouched slightly and withdrew my inferno, igniting it. I slowly swing it around, capturing the dragons and the woman's attention. She began to walk towards me and I panicked. Drawing a circle of gas around me and igniting it. Effectively making her take a step back. I pulled of my helmet so I could see better, a small terrible terror flew last and snatched my helmet and flew out of the icy mountain."HEY!" I shout as I Move towards the exit but the surrounding dragons begin to growl. I move back to the centre of the room. The woman moves towards me again and raised a hand to my face." Ugh...uh?" Is all I manage out. I turn my head to the side, trying to get as far away as possible. Her fingers are inches away from the small scar on my chin. She gasped and stepped back. Was it really that bad?"Hiccup?" She asked, dropping her staff and shield to the floor." S-should I know you?" I ask uncertain wether to communicate or not. She took off her helmet and dropped it to the ground. She had long brown hair tied into a ponytail. Dark forest green eyes and a smooth, chiseled face. She look exactly like me, except, a girl."After all these years, how is this posable?" She asked to mostly herself." Umm?" I mumble, very confused to what was happening." D-do we k-know eachother?" I try again. She smiles sadly and nods.
