; 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠...?

   "Guys, this is an emergency." Yuuka spoke with a noticeable urgence in her monotonic voice, facing the gang members with a very serious expression.

  They waited for her next sentence with anticipation, they were spiralling with so many ideas in their heads already - even when Yuuka isn't saying anything yet.

   Yuuka looked up with an even more grim expression when she noticed that her friends were already getting the wrong idea.

  "I need to improve my grades, or my parent would surely disown me. "

"...."

   Silence answered after, indicating that they're unamused of Yuuka's supposedly urgent matter. They cancelled their plan for this!?

The first one to react was Miyu, "You know that I don't even have the brain to be smart right!? Why did you even call me here, you dumbhead!" She accusingly pointed her finger at Yuuka, actually offended that she was also called in the meeting when it was supposed to be something that needs your brain.

   Maika shooks her head with a grin - finding it funny. "Calm down Miyu, she probably called you here because ahe doesn't want you to be left alone." She explained for Yuuka who's currently close to tears.

  Miyu immediately calmed down after hearing Maika's explanation. She crossed her arms and said in a bashful way, "I-I guess i would be lonely. Thanks for that."

  "Anyways, I understand your trouble Yuuka. We probably need to arrange our schedule to tutor her, right?" Shuna pondered as her little pointed finger rests on her lips, tilting her head to the side.

  "Is anyone available?" Maika asked.

  There's currently four members available, which is Karin, Shuna, Arisa and Yui since these four were the only ones that has a brain. But Shuna's schedule were tight since there's alot of newbies in the dojo, along with the new recruited Mizo Gang and Takemicchi. So, Shuna's out of the lists.

  Yui is busy burning her eyebrows so she could live up to her image as the 'school idol.' 

  And Karin is really busy at home.

  Arisa would be a better fit since she's a really good teacher, she's funny and easy to understand - however, she's unmotivated to even teach someone. Knowing Arisa, she would stay home and play games 'till dusk and could still ace the exams without a sweat.

  They all turned their head to Arisa, and there she is unbothered while she played on her phone.

   Feeling multiple gazes prickling at her, she looked up - everyone eyes is indeed on her relaxed figure. She raised her left eyebrows in amusement. "What? You want me to teach her or something?"

"That's right. Since your schedule is empty, maybe you should spare some time to tutor our poor Yuuka." Yui said with a taunting grin.

  "Yui is right! We don't have that much free time as you do! So you should help Yuuka study!" Miyu shouted this time, adamant on making Arisa do something instead of just gaming all day.

"You're the best fit here Arisa, help Yuuka." Shuna said this time.

  Meanwhile - Yuuka on the other side, "Why do I feel like they've been passing me on Arisa as if I'm a big problem..?" She felt dejected all of a sudden.

  Arisa gaped in disbelief at her friends who's shoving the problem to her all alone. "You mean, I'll do the teaching alone?" She shakily pointed at herself.

"Why? Don't tell me you can't do it yourself?" Maika smiled, but for some reason, Arisa could see a demon behind Maika, smiling maliciously.

"Eeek....!" Arisa shuddered, turning away from Maika with a defeated expression. "This so unfair." She muttered.

Karin can't help but smile from Arisa's cuteness, "I'll help when I'm not busy anymore, ofcourse."

"Karin..!" Both Yuuka and Arisa looked at her with teary eyes, touched that she's going to help them and not abandon them like what their other gang members is doing.

  Karin sweatdropped, she really is weak to them. She just needs to finish all her works every night, so she could help them soon.

  Shuna, Yui, Maika and Miyu watched the scene with hidden fondness. They wish that this kind of scene where they're all together happily could stay forever.

  "Then, it's settled. Arisa would tutor Yuuka. You two should probably plan where and when to study since you know your schedule better than anyone." Yui sighed with a smile on her face, finally the problem is solved.

  They're not lying when they said they're busy, although it's not the same with smart people like Shuna, and Arisa, dumb people who can't study like Maika and Miyu has a bunch of lessons to catch up to - since all they had been doing every class is to doze off. The midterm is coming so they need to study.

"Yuuka and I would meet at the park after schools after the weekends." Arisa sighed, noting to write the lessons and the lesson plan on a notebook tonight.

And so, the 'emergency' meeting has finally come to an end.

  Yuuka walked with Arisa back to their home since both of them were neighbours - and Arisa could always hear Yuuka's mother hollering how bad Yuuka's grades are, so she could understand how determined Yuuka must've been to get a passing grade.

The problem with Yuuka were not her studies, but it's her way of understanding the lessons. All Yuuka needs in her studies is a little excitement, and Arisa knows exactly what it is.

  "Tomorrow, you should wake up early and join me in a jog - I'll give you the lesson plans and have you memorise the pointers." Arisa grinned at Yuuka whose staring right at her eyes.

"Okay." She nodded curtly and waved her hand goodbye before going inside her house just the left side of Arisa's house.

  Arisa got inside the house after, and was greeted with the usual silence.

"I'm home."

Some people thinks that it's lonely being alone, but not for Arisa here. She loves the serenity of her house, it gives her comfort and a peace of mins - something that was not given to her due to the constant talks of students around the school.

Removing her pink jacket and her pink snickers, she tied up her hair with a loose ponytail and gone up to her bedroom to take a shower.

  Her parents were never at home, they are constantly travelling around the world because that is their dream when they were at their couple years. Plus, Arisa's older sister was living separately for her college.

  She does missed her family, but it would be forgotten in a moment since she never bothered succumbing into her emotions like any other person.

  Maybe she didn't care, but who knows?

  After taking a shower and drying herself up - she proceeded to take a seat on her study table, bringing a few notebooks out of her drawer. She started writing notes and planning for the lessons, the schedule and a bunch of pointers for Yuuka - and spent the night doing exactly that.

...

  "Yo! Goodmorning, dumbhead!" The first thing that welcomed Yuuka in the morning is Arisa's large eyebags and her wide grin.

"Arisa? Why are you in my room?" She slowly got up, rubbing her eyes to wipe off the sleepiness.

"I knew you would wake up late again so I decided to go to your room through your window." Arisa pointed at the open window of Yuuka's room and a few dirt on the carpet due to Arisa's shoes.

Yuuka's eyes followed what Arisa is pointing and deadpanned, "Can't you come in like a normal person though? You're staining the carpet again." Yuuka said accompanied with a deep sigh, standing up to stretch to wake her body up from her peaceful sleep.

"I prefer sneaking more."

  While Arisa who couldn't get a single wink of sleep, sat on Yuuka's swivel chair energitically as she watched the slow-poke go to her bathroom.

   You might be wondering why Arisa were so energetic even though she didn't sleep?

Simple.

She's used to it.

"I hate mornings so much. I still wonder how you can get up so early in the morning when you've probably stayed up late last night." Yuuka's groggy voice resonated around the closed space of her bathroom whilst she cleansed her face with a foamy soap.

Arisa scoffed in amusement, "Do I looked like i slept?"

  Yuuka stopped in her tracks and stared at Arisa in curiosity, "Wait, you haven't?"

"Yeah, i haven't."

  "Oh. Sorry about that." Yuuka felt sorry about Arisa, must be hard to be always smart - she thought, pitying the oblivious Arisa.

"Don't be, dumbhead. You just need to follow my instructions like a dog and you'll be a whole new different person with a different mind overnight." Arisa had a mischievous grin on her face that made Yuuka unconsciously buckle in nervousness to what Arisa had in place for her.

  Yuuka had nothing left to say at that point so she decided to hurry up instead. After changing into her sports wear, both Arisa and her used the window to get out of the house. And to this day, Yuuka still couldn't understand why Arisa liked to get in and out of the window instead of just using the door.

The both of the ran like a madman to the Musashi Shrine, while Arisa chanted a few words which was connected to one of the pointers, and then have Yuuka repeat them.

Arriving at the shrine heaving breathlessly, Arisa took out one of the notebooks which had the subject 'Math' that Yuuka so deeply hated.

  "On page 10, there's a bunch of formulas that you'll probably need to memorize today." Arisa chugged a bottle of water from which she dug out of her bag.

   Whilst Yuuka took the time to skim through the formulas, and still catch her breath.

"Y-You want...me..." She wheezed, "to memorize this today? You're kidding right?" Yuuka was almost spooked how Arisa could remember such a complicated formulas and write them in one go without even checking if she's right or wrong. I mean, there's not a single trace of erasing in her notebook!

Arisa shrugged, "Well, yeah! If I can do it, then you can too!" After saying that, Arisa hopped upwards on the stairs.

  On the other hand, Yuuka was still in disbelief as she stared at the formulas. She can't do anything about it. It's math.

Mental. Abuse. To. Humans.

Sighing she muttered with a low voice, "The least i could do is try..."

"After you read that, you'll have to recite the formulas and where and how it works. You can only hop upwards when it's correct which I would be the judge, and you'll not be descending whether you get it wrong or not." Arisa crossed her arms and looked down on Yuuka who's currently still on the first stair.

"What..?" Yuuka couldn't comprehend what was happening anymore. Did she hear that right? She'll have to recite the formulas and it's uses?

Should she really recite them?

Was math supposed to be like that?

"The goal today is to memorize the formulas until you ascend to the top of the shrine."

"And until then, you won't be going home without finishing our purpose today."

Yuuka gulped and looked at the notebook again, "Okay.."

  The two of them spent the whole morning shouting the formulas, and Arisa's spartan teachings at the Musashi shrine - and when the afternoon passed, they didn't notice two motorcycles heading towards rheir direction.

Only then when Arisa heard the loud engines did she noticed someone was coming. "The worst timing to interfere.." She slapped her forehead as headache is starting to form.

"Arere~? Were you guys doing a new regime to get strong?" Smiley's voice reached Arisa's ears that it made her grown in annoyance.

"No, it's not. I'm making Yuuka memorise formulas." Arisa deadpanned.

  Smiley tilted his head and turned to his twin brother who had a sky blue colored hair and an angry expression on his face, "Then, Angry could also teach her. He's a good teacher. Right?" Smiley patted Angry's back, trying to get him to Yuuka's almost lifeless body.

Arisa shook her head, "I don't need it! I've already made a lesson plan for Yuuka, so you two shouldn't interfere!"

"Aww, that's too bad. Right, Angry?" Smiley grinned even wider at Angry whose still quiet but uncomfortable at his twin's gaze.

"Let's just go." In the end, Angry stomped his way towards the top and ignored his twin.

  Arisa watched Angry go up the stairs, "You should follow your brother now, Smiley-kun."

"Hai~hai. I will~" He said in a sing-song voice and then finally going up.
