IT WAS NO DOUBT THAT THE REMINGTON SIBLINGS WERE BEAUTIFUL, in fact, many people among the ton believed that it was simply cruel that the Remington siblings were born into such poor conditions. The eldest child and only son, Arthur Remington had caught the eyes of many young women around the ton, his dirty blond hair and fit build from working in the stables of the Bridgerton home had made Arty not an unfortunate sight. The middle Remington daughters were the embodiment of beauty and grace, Josephine and Theresa Remington had not worked a day in their life, their hands were soft, not a cut or callus on them. Their parents had always hoped that Theresa or Josephine would marry rich and be able to successfully climb the social ladder. The youngest Remington sister had refused when their parents had tried to do the same to her, young Eleanor enjoyed working in the Bridgerton home, she worked with her mother and was a scullery maid.
Mrs and Mr Remington had everything planned out for their children but then they passed.
Suddenly Arty was left in charge of three young women, he needed to start working more, his silly adventures with strange woman was over, he was now the man of the house.
Arty enjoyed his job, he was the Coachman for the Bridgerton family, when he wasn't transporting the family around, he was attending to the horses in the stables. Arty enjoyed his job but he enjoyed it even more when he got to catch stolen glances the middle Bridgerton child, Francesca.
Arty was deeply interested by the girl, she was so different to her siblings, quiet, Arty had often transported her on rides where she was by herself, she didn't have a book in hand or anything to keep herself entertained, she would simply stare out the window and sit in silence.
It fascinated him, but she never paid him much of mind, after all, he was just the help.
Everything changed one night when Francesca took a ride in the silence but Arty wasn't in the mood to stay quiet.
