A Different Identity:
My heart was aching, shattering, and pained. The last couple of days have been harsh, I've been to at least five different bars, most of them weren't even in New York. I didn't do it enough to get wasted, or drunk, but it wasn't the best thing I should've done. I eventually moved to a new place, Yukino and Sting helped me move.
Plue was beyond confused, he had no idea what was going on. It was June seventeenth. The day before my birthday. Sting and Yukino had moved too. They were right next door. I was super pumped, even if my heart was shattered and stepped on. Sting and Yukino's wedding was in a couple days. We also found out that Sting is going to be a dad!
"Lucy!" Someone knocked three times.
I ran to the door, knowing the knock very well. "Loke!" I shouted and jumped on him, making him almost fall over.
"Calm down Lucy," He smiled.
"Oh, please come in!" My eyes were bright, like a million stars.
"Lucy, I know this might be a touchy subject," Loke paused and bit his lip, "But I heard about Natsu." I bit my lip, chewing at the dried skin.
"Yeah, a little weird isn't it?" I laughed it off, even though I wanted to break into a million pieces and cry.
"Lucy, you don't have to put up a thick wall, there are plenty of guys out there." He smiled.
"I know, I'm just not ready for another relationship..." I sighed, walking to my couch, Loke following in pursuit.
"That's alright Lucy," He smiled.
"Just look for a guy when you're ready. You don't even have to date a male if that's not why you like..there are women too." He sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
"Maybe I should just stay single," I smirked.
"If you want to, that's your choice Lucy." Loke kissed my forehead, and left, since he had work.
I walked out of my apartment locking my door, and walked to my studio. I walked out of the elevator, but froze. Natsu.
"Lucy," Natsu saw me and his eyes darkened.
I ignored him and walked into my studio. "Lucy, please let me talk." I sighed and turned toward him.
"Natsu...can't you see? This is hard for everyone, and you need to give them some space." My voice was timid; I was timid. I pulled out an empty canvas, and painted Levy-chan.
"I wanted to tell you something, before I go." I looked up to him. I saw a flash of red. Then I saw her.
"This is Flare-"
"Corona. Please leave." Flare. Another girl who made life a living hell. I slammed the door. That was his new girlfriend, wasn't it? "Not like I care..." Who am I kidding? I care.
"Tsk." I finished painting Levy and sold it. Then painted the woods, in black and white. I like how it looked.
"Black and white. The two colors that contrast the good and evil." Came from my mouth. Black. White. I sighed, resting my chin on my palm. Then I did something...something that actually scared me. My initials. LH. I signed them on the canvas.
"It's about time, isn't it?' I squeaked, my throat became dry.
"Why is heartbreak such a hard thing? It's like an infectious disease, only caught when you truly were in love."
"Heartbreak; the one thing that girls fall to their knees trembling. Lucy, it'll all be okay, if you just allow it to heal." Who was that?
"Who's there?" I asked to the dark corner.
"Ah, ah, ah. It's be no fun to tell you, so I'll let you find clues." This voice...who is it?
