chapter 6

The next day. . . .

"Alright, hope there's nothing bad that can happen," Mesagi muttered, his knuckles hitting each other.

He then wondered if he should leave his weapons or not. He then sighed and took it along with him.

Along the way, he heard the students whispering things. He doesn't know, but seeing the looks they're giving to Mesagi, it was likely to be gossip.

"I don't like you guys gossiping about me. How about you tell me what is it you're talking about?" Mesagi asked them.

They went silent instantly, which made Mesagi pout childishly at them, before walking again to his class.

. . . . . .

"Man. Why are people gossiping do much about me?" Mesagi asked team RWBY.

It was lunch time, and team RWBY were surprisingly comfortable with his company.

Probably because of the incident that had occured to Mesagi, and Blake was there to tell them.

"Wow. Getting sandwiched is pretty funny, but I'm also surprised that you can throw the sheath and give a strong impact to it," Ruby said, impressed.

"Thanks. . . . I suppose," Mesagi replied, not knowing what to say at all.

"I have a feeling it's as strong as Yang's single punch," Blake told the group, which made Yang glance at Mesagi, who was eating his food in a polite manner.

"For real? I mean, look at him. He's so docile," Yang told the group, and when they looked at him, he looked back. "What?" He asked, tilting his head.

They shook their head and and continued eating, before, at the corner of their eyes, they saw Cardin and his team, CRDL.

"What do you want, Cardin? Wasn't you getting beaten by Mesagi enough?" Blake asked Cardin, glaring as well.

"Tch. You shut your mouth, Faunus," Cardin replied harshly, and that hit Blake's vein, attempting to stand up.

But when Mesagi grabbed hold of her shoulder, and stood, she relaxed, slowly sitting back down.

"So. Your team versus me? Seems and sounds cheating, but alright. I'll accept it," he said, knowing exactly what he wanted.

"Hope you're ready for some pain," one of Cardin's team mate said before they left.

"You sure you can do this, Mesagi? Those guys aren't just for show, y'know," Ruby said, worried.

"Psh. It's fine. Trust me. I got myself some upgrades anyway," Mesagi lied, but sounded like the truth.

"Oh. Good luck then," Ruby said, and Mesagi nodded, before he finished the rest of his food and the bell rang.

. . . . .

Before Mesagi went to the arena, he went to his dorm room, closing his eyes and taking deep breaths.

When he opened his eyes, however, he didn't expect to see a package in front of him.

He grabbed and inspected the package and read the label. It read:

To: Kimeraretaon Mesagi
Fro: Your parents + Sister

This is something we got for you. Make us proud!'

Mesagi blinked. "Mom. . . Dad. . . Sis. . . Didn't know you'd care about me," he muttered.

He opened the package and stared at the contents: a long pair of chains.

He raised an eyebrow soon enough. 'If mom and dad made this, it needs to have a purpose,' he thought.

He then took out one of his katanas and placed the end of the hilt near the chain.

Surprisingly, the chain instantly latched onto the hilt, and when Mesagi tried to pull it away, it was as if it was extremely glued together.

"This is a nice upgrade," Mesagi muttered, now smiling, before looking out of the window.
