"Everyone! Into the building!" Mesagi yelled out, carrying Yang bridal style and ran.

Liao did a roundhouse kick to Mercury and the latter flew a few feet away, and Liao and Neo ran alongside Mesagi.

Mesagi was then shocked to see Tankou gesturing them to follow her in.

Once they got to the building and locked the door, they looked around and saw that Tankou wasn't there.

"Weird. Did you see Tankou?" Mesagi asked. "No. Emerald must've used her semblance," Liao replied.

Liao then looked at Mesagi, as they both carefully walked. "Mesagi, what's your semblance?" He asked.

"Nullification on other people's aura and semblance," Mesagi replied to Liao.

"So THAT's how you won against Cardin and CRDL!! You nullified their aura!" Yang exclaimed.

Neo nodded at her. Both Neo and Yang glared at each other, making Mesagi sweat drop.

"I don't know about you two, but try and leave the past behind, please?" Mesagi pleaded.

Both Neo and Yang looked away in a childish manner, which made Mesagi, again, and Liao to sweat drop by their childishness.

"I remember a way downwards. I think we can escape that way," Liao told them.

"Okay, that's good," Mesagi said. "Yang, can you walk?" Mesagi asked her.

"Sure I can. But can you carry me please? My legs still hurt," Yang pleaded.

"Okay," Mesagi replied, which caused Neo to glare at Yang, who stuck her tongue out to Neo.

"You think this is a good idea?" Neo asked. "Well yes. We have to escape AND find RNJR," Mesagi replied.

"RNJR?" Yang asked. "Ruby, Nora, Jaune and Ren," Mesagi replied to Yang.

"Rubes?! Is she alive?!!" Yang suddenly said out. "Shush!" Liao said out. They were already on the stairs.

"Did you guys hear something?" Liao asked. They heard rattling sounds.

"Crap. Emerald's Kusarigama chain," Mesagi replied, and soon enough, they all ran, following Liao.

And then, out of nowhere, the glass window broke, revealing a literally wet, but unscathed Tankou.

All of them were shocked, but Liao then grabbed Tankou's wrist and ran, and the others silently followed.

Eventually, they broke down the door in front of them, since the stairs had reached its limit.

They saw the pathway, as bright and clear as day, until they realised the pathway was completely wet by the waterfall.

And also Mercury, Cinder and a large amount of goons at the other side of the pathway.

"What do we do? We're cornered," Tankou asked, looking at their somehow calm leader, Mesagi.

"Pray to the Gods. We're gonna fight till the last breath," Mesagi replied, with a tint of sadness in his voice.

Tankou and Yang looked at Mesagi in shock, but Neo and Liao nodded.
