A scene from our favorite lil beagle pup, Petta, was requested by cookiesadvice :D

At first I was a little stuck on how to do this since we have no idea what language dogs think in, but I think I have figured out a way to do this :3

So here we go, (sort of) Petta's POV of when she and Joi first met :3

If Petta could say anything right now, it would be "End me."

She's a beagle puppy, not even a year old yet, but she's experienced more tragedy in her lifetime than most dogs do in a full lifetime.

She used to live happily in a little pet shop with her brothers and sisters, but one day the shop decided to transfer some of them to a different location since they weren't selling as fast as they hoped.

Petta had a favorite sibling, one of her brothers, and she was never afraid to show it. He didn't have a name, but they were always together whether they were eating, playing, or just taking naps.

Her brother ended up in the batch that got to stay at the shop while Petta was in the group that had to go.

Miraculously, Petta managed to escape that truck they put her in when they stupidly opened it at a gas station, but she could never find her way back to the shop.

She actually did get very close, she was only a few blocks away, but it never happened.

What did happen, though, was she ran into Jhonny Meeks.

He was on his way with stolen money to the pet shop to get a puppy for Joifny Hitler, a boy he was just forced to beat the crap out of.

Jhonny was a few blocks away from the pet shop when he saw the tiny, brown-spotted body belonging to Petta slowly digging through some trash for food. As Jhonny got closer, he saw how skinny the puppy was. It made him think of Joifny, and he knew when the puppy looked up into his eyes that they would be a perfect pair.

After Jhonny bought Petta a meal, he handed her over to the nurses of the care center Joifny was being kept at, which is how Petta ended up here, in the nurse's lunch lounge, having her ears, head, and face rubbed by every nurse in the building.

She hated the attention. She wished she was back with Jhonny where she'd felt safe for the first time in days, but he never came back for her. He would never come back. She could only wait to meet the new boy that Jhonny talked to her about: Joifny.

She was supposed to have been given to him hours ago, but the nurses, obsessed with her cuteness, wanted to keep her for as long as they could. They mistaked nips at their fingers as Petta trying to be playful instead of what they actually were (aggravated bites), which only lengthened her stay.

Petta was just about to see if she could jump out of the nearest window when one of the nurses entered the lounge, said something to the woman currently holding the puppy, and then takes her from her.

As the nurse walks down the halls to some unknown room, Petta's ears perk up as she looks everywhere she can.

Will she finally be meeting Joifny?

After Jhonny, Petta has high expectations.

The nurse finally reaches a door at the back of the building and opens it, revealing Petta to Joifny and Joifny to Petta.

Petta wouldn't be able to explain it (obviously), but something in how her eyes locked with Joifny's, she knew that Joifny was her person. His eyes were a bit sunken in and basically spelled out hunger, but they were kind. His body was skinny and pale, but his wide open arms welcoming her into them sent a message that even a dog could understand.

Once they were united, Petta immediately licks his small face and settles into his lap, wrapped in his arms. When he smiles down and lightly strokes the fur on her back, that only relaxes her more. It sends calming sensations through her little body that were only once before achieved with Jhonny.

She doesn't know it yet, but she's already growing on Joifny. And he's growing on her.

Both are hungry, incredibly lonely, and in desperate need of love...

They'll get along just fine.

I know I said this would be ten times happier but now that I'm reading it again it's more like 3 times happier...

If you want I can do a different scene with Petta and it will actually be fluff I swear...
