"I missed you, Amore.." Aurora said, as she was curled up into Carmen's arms. She had gotten back after arresting Maelstrom and was with the French model she had fallen for. "I missed you too, Aura." She replied, kissing the top of the brunette's head. "Did you hear the rumors?" Now, Aurora was intrigued. "What rumors?" She asked, her shimmering blue diamonds meeting her girlfriend's sapphire ones. "Chief said that we are getting a new criminologist and he said that it will be someone we know/heard of." Unbeknownst to her, Aurora was the new criminologist the chief had mentioned.

"I see.. anything else?" That earned her a no from Carmen. "Ok." Aurora leaned towards her shoulder and smiled, feeling her hair being stroked. Carmen had to stifle a laugh, the model was being so cute it should have been a crime for her to behave like that.. "Amore, your calling me cute again.." the woman said, her face softly turning pink. "So? It's true, is it not?" Asked Carmen as she immediately pinned the beauty down on the couch. "Woah there, Amore~" she whispered, her soft blues glittering like the most beautiful diamonds.

Aurora reached up and cupped the left side of her face, touching underneath the sapphire orbs she fell for. Carmen leaned into the woman's touch and kissed the palm of the hand she was holding in her own. She looked into the blue diamond colored eyes and felt so vulnerable.. so open. She was so damn perfect.. she pressed a kiss to her cute button tip of her nose and moved her hand to her left one that was resting on her stomach. Using her stealth, she slipped a ring onto her finger and watched as the model felt the cold metal on her ring finger and lifted up her hand to examine it.

She heard a soft gasp escape her as on her finger was a promise ring, made out of sterling silver with an engraving inside of it that said: '我的莎拉菲娜，最完美，你将永远被爱，我的守护天使' with an in-laid topaz surrounded by rubies, emeralds and amethysts. "All together it reads: 'My saraphina, most perfect, you will always be loved, my guardian Angel'.. Carmen, I.. don't really know what to say!" She mumbled, tear droplets going down her cheeks as she smiled. Who would have known Carmen was a hopeless romantic around her?

Aurora pounced on her and captured her lips into a deep kiss as Carmen placed her hands on her waist. She was happy as she pulled away and rested on her girlfriend's chest, hearing her heartbeat as she looked at her ring. She never thought in so many years that she would be together with the very detective that she had fallen for. "Aura.. I love you so damn much, you don't even know." Carmen whispered on the top of the brunette's head. The other woman's face lit up with a soft blush as she giggled.

"I love you too, Carmen."

Paige was watching the scene as she sighed softly, leaning against the doorframe. She left them in the living room and went into the same hallway she knew that Aurora was attacked in. For the first time in her life, she felt alone.. Paige removed her mask as her face was exposed to the world. "Miss Monroe?" She, out of instinct, turned around. Standing behind her was the same criminal Carmen put in prison. "Maelstrom, I presume?"

"Correct. Also, why do you wear a mask?" He asked, pointed towards her mask she held in her hand. She sighed softly once more and slowly started explaining her story. She realized her mask wasn't in her hand as she looked at him then at her mask which was in his hand. "What do you plan o- MY MASK!" She squeaked as he threw it against the wall as hard as he could. Paige proceeded to try to calm down as she looked at him. "Why did you do that?"

"You don't need that mask anymore."

"And why is that?" She watched as Maelstrom smirked.

"Because this beauty should not remain hidden from the world, my beautiful mermaid~"

Her cheeks took on the color of deep red skies as nobody complemented her face. "Do you truly mean that, Dr?" She asked as she placed her hand on her heart. "With all my soul, Paige." This was going to be the start of something much more beautiful like the day Carmen and Aurora met each other in the flesh. Paige was embarrassed yet very happy before she felt a rough hand clasp her smooth one, playing with her knuckle of her index finger. "What does that make us, Dr?" She asked softly as their noses touched each other and their lips brushed.

She closed her eyes as she was kissed, feeling as if she was on fire and her arms went limp. They moved away as she opened her eyes, her deep yet dark Hazel orbs shining softly in the dim lighting. Maelstrom felt his heart beat in his chest for his little mermaid as she moved a piece of her jet black hair behind her ear with a flick of her wrist. He overheard that Paige had Body Dysmorphic Disorder as she was insecure about her face and knew that during the days she was a model like Aurora and an actress, her career was destroyed by her former employers.

"Paige, your former employers made a mistake by letting you go.. I know you want revenge again, but.. if you wish, may we.. join forces to get expose them?" Paige's eyes started glittering. "I would love that, thank you." She whispered, her smile never leaving her face. His breath was caught as he stared at his beautiful lover as she hugged him, her pine green dress doing little to nothing to hide her curves and hugging them in all the right places.

He knew that Paige was to be protected and safe from all those that hurt her, like an ocean treasure.
