"Does anyone know why Carmen is acting strange as of late?" Asked Joshua as he and the other detectives were in the break room. "Why do you say that?" Zack asked in confusion. "But there is something.. off about her." Ivy said, her emerald eyes glowing. A long pause followed before the chief spoke up. "Maybe she found someone?" He said, seeing the signs of being together with someone on the star detective's face. "Carmen is Carmen. She probably thinks that romance is a complete waste of her time and maybe doesn't like being tied down." Tatiana replied, feeling like the latina hated romance.
"Is that so? That's definitely not it, Tatiana." A calm voice behind them said as the detectives and chief screamed and jumped back, holding their hands up in peace. "Oh calm down." Carmen said, reaching over and grabbing a small cup of coffee. "I'm not going to hurt you. I'm in love, remember?" Somehow, they did not look any less nervous. "Um.. how much of that did you hear Carmen?" Lee Jordan asked. "Currently, your little theories on my range from having solved a lot of cases to finding someone special and being tied down." She recited in a calmer but still terrifying tone. "Have I missed anything?"
They all blushed. "Since I'm going to be on the chopping block anyhow," Lee finally said. "Can I ask why your so happy and lovestruck in the first place?" Carmen softly blushed. "Well.. I kinda..." She began.
"There you are, mi amor!" Everyone jumped again as a woman ran in, her soft baby blue dress with silver chrysanthemum flowers on the hem flowing behind her and her soft snow white flats softly clicked as she walked towards Carmen, her alluring baby blue orbs meeting her sapphire ones. "I got a girlfriend." She informed them, holding the beauty in her arms. "And if you'll excuse me, I promised Aurora that I would escort her to the theater so she can perform her violin solo." Then the detective gave Lee a quick hit upside the head and walked away with Aurora before anyone had a chance to recover.
"Wasn't that Aurora Lilyflower!?" Said Jasmine as she was panicking. The detectives were silent before the realization struck them like a lightning bolt. They heard of the beautiful model and violinist but never actually met her up close and personal because of the cases they were put on. But she was even more prettier than the first rays of sunlight and her names meaning.
Carmen was walking with Aurora to the theater just as she had promised the french woman in the office. "Hey, Aura?" The woman looked up at her with those same innocent baby blues and delicate heart-shaped face, causing her to blush. 'why does she have to look that damn cute..' thought Carmen as she wrapped an arm around the shoulders protectively. They reached the theater as Carmen opened the backstage door for her. "After you, Mon petit ange." She said in french. Aurora turned redder than her wine red necklace she had decided to wear that day and went in.
Aurora walked over and picked up a black violin case, undoing the latches and opening the lid to reveal a baroque violin made out of cherry wood with gold swirls on the sides along with a matching bow. "This was a gift from Paige when I was a child. She had a very special message written on the back with black gold for me, using her connections." Explained the model as she held it up to the light, admiring how the gold shined on the violin. Just then, she heard her name being called as she stood up and quickly pecking Carmen on the cheek, left to go on stage.
Carmen then heard the beginning notes of Largo from Xerxes by Handal. She smiled before leaving the theater, Since it would be a while until she would finish playing the songs that was being heard, she decided to get Aurora a bouquet of flowers. Seeing a nearby flower shop, she immediately looked at the roses and the options for the bouquet. Something red and orange caught her eye and she went over, seeing a bunch of burgundy, red and orange roses. She grinned before turning to the owner.
Aurora was placing her violin back into it's case until she heard the door open and close. She looked up and smiled, seeing the detective she had fallen in love with. "Hi, mi amor-" she stopped, seeing the twenty-four roses and blushed once more, her cheeks turning even redder than the flowers' petals. "I see you understand what the number of twenty-four roses mean, Aura~" she whispered seductively in the model's ear, her face turning into every shade of red.
"Y-yes, I learned about what each number of roses stands for from father when I was a teen.. so, that's how I know." She said, her tiny frame shivering with surprisingly pure lust. Aurora had a few thoughts about the star detective, but they were strictly innocent, nothing impure until this very encounter with her. "Is..that so, miss Monroe?" Said Carmen as her hand drifted from her face to her knee, the shy yet timid angel was embarrassed as she looked at the door. "Not here, Carmen. Someone will see us.." she whispered. The detective picked her up and carried her to the mansion and her room, locking the door as Aurora immediately did a silent spell that made the whole room soundproof and closed the curtains to prevent people from looking them through the windows.
Aurora blew the candle out as the entire room was engulfed in darkness, creating a sense of romance. It was just themselves as their eyes met each others. Sapphire met diamond as Carmen's breath was caught in her throat. Aurora was like an angel that fell from heaven.. especially with the glittering innocence in her eyes, the childish blush on her face.. everything about her was angelic.
They both were wrapped up into each others arms, both did not have any clothing as the day they were born. "My angel.." mumbled Carmen as Aurora was asleep, her face bathed with moonlight. She was still pretty as the day they first met. This solidified her choice:
She was going to protect Aurora with her life, even if it meant her being hurt so she'd be safe.
